Buffet Server

Purchased a buffet server in early December 2014, was told it will be delivered by end of December and worst case scenario first week of January 2015. Called them in January and was told by the reception girl of the Kennedy location it will be scheduled for delivery by end of the week. Waited til Friday and heard nothing back. Give them another call and was told it should be hear by end of the month, at that point i requested to speak to the manager for a refund, he said all items sold are final sale and no refunds are allowed.. they only offered to refund me the delivery charge of $70. Another 2 weeks has passed, called Warehouse in February was told by them server has been delayed until of end of MARCH. At this point i still have not received a call about when it will be delivered.

Leather Sectional

My couch has been broken since November 2014. I placed my first call to the customer service department in November, they sent a technician to our home in December who told us there was absolutely nothing wrong with our couch. The problems we were experiencing continued and actually got worse, so we called back again, waited on hold for 35 minutes and when we finally got through they said they would send another technician. By this point we are well in to December and preparing for a Christmas get together with a broken couch. The technician comes, he was literally in my home for 45 seconds, took one look at the couch and said that the mechanism is broken as we need a new one ASAP or the couch was going to continue to get worse. 3 more weeks go by, we are through the Christmas season now and I haven’t heard from anyone in the Customer Service department, so I pick up the phone again to call, wait on hold for another 30 minutes to be told by a woman that they had placed an order for the new mechanism and that it would be arriving at the beginning of February. The part that bothers us the most about this is that due to the terrible customer service no one called us to tell us the part had been ordered. I asked the woman on the phone if anyone was going to call me to tell me that and she didn’t know... we are 2 working individuals who need to take time off for these types of service calls and I found it extremely un professional that I didn’t receive a call from the so called customer service department to tell me that they had ordered a part. Needless to say I was told the part would be here at the beginning of February it is now the end of February and I have called two more times to see where my part is, the first woman swore up and down that she would call me back that night after she tracked my part and of course as I suspected she couldn’t be bothered to call back. 3 days later I phoned again and sat on hold for 27 minutes and I got a really nice man who apologized for the issues and he said he was going to contact the first girl I spoke to as she tracked the part and that one of them would call me back.... AGAIN I DIDNT GET A CALL FROM ANYONE.

NEVER SHOP AT BAD BOYS AGAIN, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE, PRODUCTS ARE TERRIBLE AND THERE IS NO ONE HELO YOU EVER!

Whirlpool Maytag Washer

First thing this morning I noticed that Bad Boy had commented that my issue was RESOLVED. At that time I again tried to contact them thru email and told them that I would be posting the following on Homestars:
“I am writing this review because I take great umbrage with Bad Boy posting so quickly that they have "RESOLVED" my issue. They obviously have not looked into the history of the problem with my washer. Had they done so, they would have seen that just sending a tech to my home does not necessarily mean the problem has been fixed. Yesterday was the FIFTH time someone has come and so I have only been able to run 2 loads. Because of the history of this machine I'm VERY hesitant to say it is RESOLVED. They also did not respond to either of the TWO emails I personally sent them at the email address THEY provided on here. As such, they also did not address the fact that because of these multiple breakdowns, etc. that I am $200.00 roughly, out of pocket for having to use alternate laundry facilities. So hang in there Bad Boy … let's wait and see if this time my problem truly IS resolved before you go trying to make yourself look like you've taken care of your customer. P.S. I'll be sending Bad Boy another email like they suggested in their *RESOLVED* reply for additional assistance, with the same comments I just posted above. I'm not holding my breath that I hear back from them, however.”
AMAZINGLY, they responded in about 20 minutes with the notation below from them (which is the exact email they sent to me) and a short time afterward changed their RESOLVED comment to that email. Again, trying to make themselves look good.
I have sent them another email to inform them that the tech yesterday was told that my machine would not be getting ANY more new parts (it has had two) and what does she suggest we do if the machine should break down again before December. I also relayed that we had requested a store credit with the Manager. I have also asked her to explain what the chances may be that the same part will be replaced in order to take advantage of Bad Boys No Lemon policy. That was 5 ½ hours ago … no reply … no surprise.

We have been working with you since your initial call to the Burlington store and your posting. 

Your machine is currently under the Whirlpool warranty and all fixes are done through their service department. All arrangements must go through Whirlpool directly.

To ensure that you were taken care of, we spoke with Whirlpool on March 2, 2015 at 1pm. At that time they had confirmed that their technician was on site at your home. 

If you are looking for reimbursement, you need to contact the manufacturer. We'll be happy to pass the message along on for you.

bonded leather sofa

Purchased the extended 5 year warranty, which now that I'm trying to use it - I'm being told it doesn't apply to my purchase. Being referred to Magiseal/Zucora who won't honour the warranty, reading from a different version of the rules than those given to me at time of purchase.
Service desk is unbelievably unhelpful. Was offered a refund on the warranty - so clearly there's an understanding that the warranty isn't working... however they were purchased together.

Now I'm left with a falling apart sofa. Will actively warn everyone I know against shopping here.

Couch Delivery

Ordered a sofa December 2014, paid for delivery and warranty. Expected delivery February 5, 2015 but it was postponed to February the 19th. When checking the delivery status online I get a message that it's already been delivered even though I received a message that it would just be arriving today. When I called the Home Delivery office they said the STORE changed it to tomorrow the 20th. I have taken a day off to receive the couch and no one will be home on the 20th to even receive the couch. The Home Delivery office stated that the store should have informed me that they changed the date. I have paid for the couch and extra for the delivery and the service has been absolutely HORRIBLE. Have made several phone calls today but all without any resolution.

dinning table set

WORST Customer service! WORST delivery! I have a scheduled delivery today. I got a automated phone call saying delivery time is 11am to 3 pm. Its 4:18pm already not a single phone call from the driver. I called the delivery department 3 times all I get from them is "i cant reach the driver and voicemail is full". You guys are the worst this is my first and last with bad boy. I AM NOT GOING BACK FOR ANY BUSINESS WITH YOU GUYS AND I WON'T EVEN RECOMMEND BAD BOY!!!

We purchased a GE washer and dryer with the 50 month extended warranty. The warranty was explained as a no lemon warranty and if after 3 times the appliances needs repaired they will replace the piece for free. A little after a year the washer stopped working, I called Badboy and they came out to repair it and right away said it would need to be replaced because it couldn't be repaired. We agreed. Now a year later the replacement washer has also stopped working and when I called for repair they said that the warranty has expired because of the replacement washer. At no time in our discussion of replacement were we told that we would no longer have warranty on the replacement washer nor did they suggest that we purchase a new extended warranty. It's been well over a week and we have called the customer service manager several times and they have not returned our calls. Needless to say we will never purchase from Badboy again. Buyer beware when dealing with this company.

Additional note: Yes they did offer us two options 1. to send out a tech to let us know how much it would cost US to fix the machine or
2. to go into the store and receive a 'vip' discount on a different washer

Neither of these two options were suitable for us. The repair bill came in at $500 and with the 'vip' discount a new most basic washer would be almost $500 + tax.

No thanks, we went with Badboy's competitor a few doors down and had a much better experience. We will never return to Badboy for any purchase.

Washer, Couch

Purchased furniture for our home 5 years ago with extended 50 month warranty. Brochure says that it is 50 months in ADDITIONAL coverage to the Manufacturers warranty. Call for the warranty (my 2nd call for service) and am told the warranty expired 9 days prior (not even close to the 50 months after manufacturers warranty). Products are garbage and now I get to go buy new ones. Do NOT shop Badboy!!

As per our conversations on Friday, we realize the washer has caused you and your family an inconvenience. Any fixes would have been covered under your warranty — however the warranty has expired and the plan was fulfilled.

We have suggested that you contact the manufacturer and have them arrange for a technician to investigate the problem. The alternative would be to take us up on our VIP discount offer for a washer replacement.
