Decor Rest Sectional

I purchased a custom Decor Rest sectional sofa from Bad Boy in Burlington in late October. I waited 8 weeks for this as it was "special order". I paid nearly $3,000 which included buying the extended warranty. After having the couch for 2-3 months the toss cushions started to pill. I contacted the service departement on March 2, 2015 and included pictures and details of my concerns. No response was received so I re emailed on March 6th. On March 7th Veronica in C.S. contact me back and indicated that a technician would be by no later then March 10th to inspect the damaged cushions. I didn't see a technician or get a phone call so I followed up on the 11th. I was told that my case was already closed meanwhile I hadn't heard back from anyone. I was told that Veronica would call me back to explain. She called me back and proceeded to argue with me that she already advised me that the cushions weren't covered and then later realized that she sent that email to herself and not me. In addition she claimed she didn't realize they were toss cushions and not seat cushins (did she not read my email or view the attached pictures?) I was told a manager wasn't available but I could get a call back within 48 hrs. 10 days later Renza (Customer Service Manager) contacts me and argues with me that it was only 48 hrs that she was aware of this and defends Veronica's mistakes without even listening to my issues. I also contacted the manufacturer during this time who indicated that the cushions are an "accessory" and aren't part of the couch. I've never come across a customer service department that is so anti-customer. These cushions would retail for around $150 and Bad Boy would sooner lose a customer for life then stand behind the low quality toss cushions they sold me.

As an update, I have finally been put into contact with someone at Bad Boy that cares and they've assured me that they will resolve the issue. It took about 1 1/2 months from initial contact but it's finally moving in the right direction. As result of my issue being resolved in a fair manner I've updated my rating from 0 to 6.

damaged appliance

short story purchased a stove badboy whitby , came damaged they will not exchange will only give us a 100.00 credit. ridiculous. waiting to see if the manager is going to step up and look after his customers. wasted so much time and energy! we will not accept delivery of our other appliances until this taken care of....

sofa

we bought two sofas from bad boy after 3 months the lazy boy section came apart after bad boy came by and took it away for 4 weeks to fix it it is now back in my home and after a month it's broken again I don't know who to call or how to get it replaced or fixed again very disappointing as we are trying to refresh our whole home...

Sectional Sofa bed

My girlfriend I recently purchased a brand new sectional with pullout bed in it. We figured that we would go back to Bad Boys because we had previously purchased a washer and dryer from there and found that the service was not too bad. This time however we went in and the initial service was good. After we paid for the couch we wanted we were told we would have it within 3 weeks. The three weeks have passed and still no word on our new couch. It is getting to the point that we are considering going in for a full refund and going elsewhere for a couch.

Couch, love seat & chair

What customer service is at bad boys? Its called customer ignore! After responding to their request for photos all lines of communication (phone and email) are being ignored!! I have never left so many voice mails to one company EVER

Bought this couch, along with a love seat and took on the 5 year warranty (5 year surface and construction) Well, over the past year the cushions have started sliding out from under you while sitting on it. Not only does it affect the seat your sitting on but also the one next to it does leaving the couch looking very untidy and a constant replacement of the cushions. I rang the warranty company who said that this is NORMAL wear and tear. Ive never had a couch or love seat loose its seats while sitting on them.

What makes this situation "normal wear and tear?" Some of the cushions have stayed firm, while others have 'softened' and is more noticeable over the last year.

Not a recommendation to anyone considering a purchase from this store

Bed

DON'T SHOP AT BAD BOYS. DOESN'T MATTER HOW GOOD THE PRICE. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

I got a bed set and TV from in. It was delivered in January and ever since I've been trying to get through to customer service because the bed frame is broken. That took a month. (It's next to impossible to get through to customer service. I've been on holds for over an hour). Then Bad Boys sent a technician. He sees the issue and says they will be in touch to send me a new bed. Weeks pass and I don't hear a thing. I start calling back (a week of calling daily hoping to get someone without waiting over an hour). Finally get an agent. She said the company of the bed - Strata - doesn't agree with the Bad Boy technician and wants to see the damage. He'll be in touch.

A few more days pass and the Strata guy calls. (we're at two months of me not having my bed set up. I'm actually going to buy a platform frame so I could use the mattress alone). We play phone tag for the day and I finally get him. He says they'll check it the next day. He did say to call and confirm that day. I called three times. No one responded to my messages and no one came by to see the bed frame.

So at this point I've given up with both companies and I absolutely regret walking into bad boys that day and buying that bed set.

I hope others will take heed. These weren't the only issues but it would be too much to write.

I purchased new appliances for bad boy in Burlintong -- worst experience I have ever had. Delivery issues, drivers looking for tips, damaged goods, appliances that didn't work, promises of compensation for trouble that never came to fruitioin ...NOOObody does it so bad! Will NEVER buy from them again

Dave was fantastic. He was cheerful, pleasant, and helpful. He was willing to price out many brands of appliances and models without complaint. He spent time reviewing specs online and helped us research. Joseph, the GM, was entertaining and helped to give us a great deal on our new appliances. The VIP sale is a great idea for deals and discounts as appliance shopping can be quite expensive!

This has been a very good experience all around. Initially, I came in "scouting" for a specific type of chair to be given as a gift for a family member's 90th birthday. Nick was very helpful and accommodating, as was his manager, George, offering a VIP sale certificate. When I returned with deciding family members, all were impressed with the product and once again both Nick and George offered great value as we completed the purchase of a reclining chair.
