Be warned! This company is untrustworthy! Technician came to fix our washing machine... with an agreed upon service labour cost plus parts cost. Parts costs determined to be to high so machine was not fixed. Technician still charged for labour cost as ‘services’ at $320 (this is after the $80 service call waive). Machine is still broken and in a worst state then it was before technician came. The matter will be dealt Now via our credit card company for services unrendered (note to self if you find yourself in a similar situation), and unfortunately we are still left with a broken washing machine and $320 poorer.

Why, oh why oh why did I not read these reviews and those posted by the BBB before calling this company???
Readers don't need to read my review; it is almost identical to every bad review here and on the
Better Business Bureau site.
Lesson learned. Fool me once, shame on you, Appliance Repairman, Concord/Vaughan

My wife placed a service call with Appliance Repairman in Concord to send a technician and have a look at our oven that was not heating properly.
Sunday May 20th 2018 Charles the repairman came onsite to assess the repair.

He found the issue to be a defective ignitor. Here is what he charged.
Service charge $80.00
Ignitor part $200.00 ( Electrolux part number 5303935066 which I could get on Amazon.ca for $60 including shipping) When asked why the part was so high, Charles stated "It comes with a 30 day warranty". Amazon gives 60 days. So the warranty cost me $150.00. When I asked to charge me for just the part without the warranty, the technician said " I can't because that's how we make our money. It's a business".

Charged $30.00 for every 10 minutes and took 44 minutes to replace the part at a total charge of $212.00. (Charged $12.00 for 4 minutes, couldn't round off to 40 minutes)

Total $465.00 including taxes.

This company is clearly out to grab as much cash as they can and because I skipped the research of a reputable appliance repair company, I got burned; excuse the pun.

This company taught me that you can't let your guard down for a second when researching for any sort of repairs whether in or outside the home.

CONSUMER BEWARE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH first. You won’t be sorry and may even save yourself hundreds of dollars.

The technician showed up hours outside the window, at a time I had specifically instructed him not to come. He claimed to have run a diagnostic test that showed I needed a $380 repair, and said if I didn't authorize that I wouod be charged $93 for a service call.

I refused to pay either because I didn't see him run the test and was unsettled that he had been in my house when I wasn't there and had told him not to come. I called a second company that told me there was no problem with my machine, it was the detergent that caused the leak and we have had no problems since.

This company has threatened to send my bill to collections for the service call that I have no proof happened. I will be pursuing this matter with the ministry of consumer services.

This is un unprofessional company.
They send me a local repairmen to fix my washing machine but he never succeeded.
They refund me part of service, except the service fee.
It has been one year that I was expecting a refund of 85$ service refund.
They are not reliable and have no commitments.

Repairman came , said it was $320 to fix the fridge , I said that’s crazy , then he said ok
We can do $280 , I said fine fix it , when he was done , he said don’t turn the fridge on for 1 hr
So we waited , we turned the fridge on and it never worked …. We called the company and they said
The spoke to the repairman and he said we likely need a new compressor for $1500 + a return labour charge.
This company is a pure MONEY GRAB , guy was here for 15 min , ripped us off $280.
I wish we read the reviews on the company , we feel so foolish 

All he did was change the fuse and found out that fuse blows again due to a circuit board problem. Didnt go for circuit board replacement as it costs 650. The charge of $300 for about 40 minutes of taking the microwave out, replacing the fuse and telling me the board is fried seems outrageous.

I called this company thinking that they would give me professional service. While the repair man was nice enough, all he did was move my fridge, check out the motor and then charged me $400 for saying that nothing is wrong. He then went on to say that I could try to replace the motor for $350 but it wouldn't guarantee that the fridge would work.

Ridiculous. I decided to get a new fridge rather than pay these people again. Happy with my new fridge, extremely unhappy with the service.

Like many others here I wish I read these reviews earlier. They almost word for word correspond to my own experience. Found this company online, got mislead with their list of 'licensed ' brands. Booked an appointment, the guy came, looked around and after 10 minutes concluded he needs to start 'manipulating' the dishwasher (his term) for about 45 min for $285+tax. Said that was his labor rate. Boy that'd a hefty rate for something he could not even explain! On top of it any part he would identify would be extra. Plus the leaking hose behind the dishwasher was not his job, 'that's for a plumber'. Paid him $80+tax I agreed to upfront, kicked him out. Called their customer support, just wasted another 20 min to find out they are not even certified to repair Bosch (despite what their website says). Then decided to look them up - and reading all the others reviews realized how lucky I was to just show him the door! Just a bunch of fraudsters with illegal business practices. Lesson learned, never again anyone without proper research first.
P.S. Called Bosch number found imprinted on my dishwasher, they are sending their tech for FREE assessment and quote. Should have done it from the get go...
