From the very begin with the sales representative, Elan, we had a great experience. Elan was knowledgeable in the products and truly helped us narrow down what we envisioned for the front of our home. This was followed by Ivan and the team with their exceptional job with the installation. With the difficult task, of braving the winter cold elements, they were amazing. They were tidy/clean, professional, personable and a delight to be around. Once the project was complete, you wouldn't have known they were there, with how organized and clean they were. During the install, we were also visited by the project manager, Layne. He also was exceptional with his explanations and walkthrough of the project, in terms of present time and in the future with the warranty. I couldn't be any happier with this experience and would highly recommend Renewal. You have a unique and outstanding team, that values their clients. Thank you so much!

Great windows and perfect installation. I changed all the windows of home. Would definitely work again

I recently found out my parents were charged $13.2k for a single door with sidelight. My parents are elderly and in my opinion Anderson used this to take advantage of them. The bill has zero breakdown of the costs involved, just a whopping final price of 13.2k for a steel door with side light. Apparently that was a deal as it included a %30 discount. So in actuality the price of the door was $17.1k. I've tried to contact the sales person by phone and e-mail multiple times to get a breakdown of the costs and surprise surprise no response. I've also tried to contact the project manager - no response. I've tried to call their general line and I was told they would forward me to the right department. I'm sure you can guess what happened next. I ended up talking to a voice mail system and I'm still waiting for a call back after two weeks. The fact that they aren't will to give a price break down of the costs involved raises red flags.

I decided to get quotes from other suppliers and found out Renwal Anderson is charging nearly twice the going rate! The quotes received for the exact same door and sidelight were on average around $7.5k.

I've read other reviews about Anderson and I definitely see a pattern - high pressure sales tactics and grossly over priced products. Seems as though it's part of their regular practice to over charge customers. Very unethical business. In short, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

JOE and EAKAM did a very professional and thorough job on the installation of new doors. They prepared and setup to remove the existing doors, installed the new doors perfectly with all trim/finishing required, left the area very neat and tidy, and provided a demo on how to operate the doors and locks with tips on how to clean the glass. The only unexpected surprise was the 3 month wait beyond the estimated installation date, which we had to initiate communication to get updates on the timeline. This was so delayed (without mention to us) that it was completed in winter, a very cold day for Joe, Eakam and inside our house.

The whole process has been very professional. The install team of Joe and Eakam were very efficient. Arrived on time, put protective mats down, did removal, install and clean-up of two windows (including exterior flashing) in half a day. Also went over operation and cleaning of windows. We've worked with a lot of contractors in our home and these two gents are up there with the best. Also appreciated the rest of the team communication and checkins to indicate then they were arriving and see if everything was going o.k.

We saw Renewal by Andersen at the CNE in August. Duane came out for our sales visit. He was extremely educated on the product and made sure we knew everything before making our decision. He was great to work with for financing as well. Mark came out to do our measurements. He was great with our crazy kids and did not seem bothered by the toys and clutter everywhere. Ivan, Dylan and Josh did our install. They were extremely professional and respectful of our home. They worked extremely quickly. They covered the floor and any items near by, then vacuumed once done. They made sure to show us how the windows worked and cleaned up all the outdoor garbage. We had asked they leave the old windows which they stacked very neatly against our garage. 100% would recommend the whole process. I realize these are the more expensive option when looking for windows but if this is a home you see yourself in for a long time please invest in this product. It is absolutely amazing. You can see and feel the difference in quality.

Joe and Eakam arrived right on time as arranged and confirmed by Installation Manager Jim. They started with a location viewing, double checking the measurements before unloading (prudent), then setting up the many lengths of protective matting along the interior route to the installation. They proceeded to carefully remove the old window, clean and prepare the opining, prepare the new window and the needed shimming and blocking , and installed the new window in a well orchestrated manner. Joe and Eakam worked well as a team, each flawlessly knowing what the other was doing and what to do next. The work was completed in a timely efficient manner with excellent workmanship and cleaned up quite well. Great experience.

Terrible to deal with, The customer service is horrible, the do not return phone calls or emails to keep you up to date on installation delays or dates. I waited 8 months for my job to be finished and all I did was have to keep hounding them for results. Once I paid in full the company went silent and would not respond at all.
I was told by the manager that I would be compensated for the way we were treated but to date they have gone silent once again, so I guess that is not happening. They advertise they are Canadian however all manufacturing is done in the States.

I will never refer any of my family or friends to this company

We have 2 double hung windows which were installed in 2016 and were still under warranty. After a summer of driveway and sidewalk reconstruction we finally got around to cleaning the front windows. This has always been so easy with the window installed by Renewal by Andersen. This year was a bit of a struggle getting the window to reset properly so we called RBA and they were very responsive leading to a quick turnaround service call from them. The service person was Jacob. Jacob called in advance and actually earlier than scheduled but that was fine by me. I was thoroughly impressed with Jacob in the manner he approached his task at hand. He was willing to share information about the windows as he fixed not only the problem with closing but other small issues I had with loose handles. The windows are the earlier version, and he identified the progressive changes made to the most recent line of these windows which make them even more user friendly. Jacob paid attention to detail and wanted to make sure he addressed all of my concerns and was in no rush. He has tremendous customer service skills, talent to understand and address the issues at hand, loyal to his company and their product and a very positive attitude towards his position. Renewal by Andersen has a tremendous asset in Jacob. He has the ability to play a bigger role with his company and his future is bright.
