The overall experience was excellent. We had been looking for replacement windows for quite a while, and continued our search at the Home and Garden Show. We had narrowed our search to GoldStar and one or two others. We met the GoldStar people at the show, were impressed with the products and scheduled an in-home visit to have an estimate prepared. The estimating process was pretty straight forward, measure the windows, discuss the different materials, finishes, etc. and work up a price for all the choices. The quoted price was reasonable for the configurations we selected. One additional benefit we were able to realize was switching to casement windows in two locations in our home. The window over the kitchen sink and the window in the utility/laundry room were always difficult to reach and open easily, but with the casement replacement windows it is now easy to open the window and enjoy fresh air. However, before making a final commitment, we made a trip to the their factory/showroom on Yonge St to look at the products and materials we had selected to confirm our choices were what we really wanted. This was a good decision as it gave us the opportunity to revise our final configurations and save some cost while still getting a great window. Having the final material and color combinations we wanted, we got together with our representative Mike and signed an order. The process went very smoothly, the order included a detailed description of each window and the cost for each. It was estimated the installation would take place in about two to four weeks. A few days after placing the order an individual schedules a time to measure each window for exact sizes for the production of the windows. This step went very well, with each window being numbered so the installation crew was sure of getting the correct window in the right place. As it worked out, the actual installation was completed three weeks after the order was placed, much to our surprise and satisfaction. The installation crew of four Alex, Sergio, Vlad and Ivan showed up on time as scheduled, took care to cover the floors in the work areas and carefully removed and installed the new windows. They were very good. They were able to remove and replace the seventeen windows and clean up in a little under nine hours. We were very impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness. About a week after the installation was completed, GoldStar scheduled an appointment and sent representative Andrew to check each window to insure proper installation and operation. We feel we selected the best company for replacement windows. The quality is excellent and the price is very reasonable compared to several others we had considered. I would definitely recommend GoldStar Windows to others.

I really can't overstate how well this project went with GoldStar Windows. We contacted three companies to bid on replacing our 25-year-old windows. GoldStar beat all their prices by a considerable amount. I was shocked that we could install this level of product for less than $400/window. From sales consultation to final inspection, everything was professional and customer service driven. And best of all, the windows have transformed the look of our house... I'm sure they'll have a significant effect on our utility bills as well. Our sales rep Mike took the time to explain what they had to offer and how it could be customized to our situation. Unlike other companies, he didn't spend all evening with heat lamps and material samples trying to wow us. It didn't hurt that his final price was nearly half what the others guys were quoting. About three weeks later, Sergio and his partner Alex came out to install the windows. These guys were great... due to discovering some rotted wood under the old windows, they had to put in a 12+ hour day... staying until 9pm because rain was forecast for the next day. Both installers were 100% positive the whole time... never complaining about how long it was taking. They also adjusted their schedule so my 15-month-old granddaughter could go to bed at 8pm. In addition to all this, we weren't charged one extra dollar for the additional materials, including new fascia around the window wells and decorative woodwork below. About a month later, a GoldStar inspector Andrew returned to make sure the windows were functioning properly and answer any questions we'd discovered from using them. He also hung brand new shutters we'd purchased after our old shutters disintegrated (They were 25-years-old). In addition to all this great service, we have a lifetime warranty on the windows. GoldStar will even re-screen the bug screens for free if we bring them to the headquarters. It's so refreshing to find a company that really values the customer.

Fantastic experience. The sales process with Mike was just great - no monkey business with pricing, just the bottom line out the door. Compared to competitors, GoldStar Window was very much in-line and affordable. We were quoted 4-6 weeks to install, and were contacted in only 2 weeks that they were ready. Installation was a breeze and all new windows were up in ONE day! We have a big project and installers finished capping-off the windows on the second day. The team was professional, Alex and Serge are courteous and took pride in their workmanship. I worked from home and was able to do so without inconvenience.
From having windows painted shut & drafts like crazy, these replacements are Fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend these folks and would gladly do business with them again.

We visited the GoldStar Factory Showroom because we wanted to see the various kinds of windows available and meet some of the company staff. We were immediately greeted upon entering the showroom; the receptionist was friendly. The factory sales rep, Mike was very friendly and knew the product extremely well. We brought our approximate window deminsions and had a lot of questions written down; we told him we were gathering information and would not be signing a contract that day . He was patient, showed us how the windows are constructed, how they operated, asked us some questions to determine the best product for our home and answered all our questions! We agreed with his recommendation and requested an estimate based on our measurements, to which there was no hesitation at all - he documented it all on a company worksheet, dated and signed it! He explained the window efficiency and performance ratings; he even presented and explained in detail the GoldStar Lifetime Warranty! There was no pressure to sign a contract! He was a knowledgeable, courteous professional. We comparison shopped and quickly determined the GoldStar product was far superior and met all of our goals.
The installers gave us a time of 10am and actually showed up 15 minutes early. They were very professional, worked efficiently to get the new windows installed and sealed everything up far better than our original window. The installation went very smoothly and they showed my wife how to unlock, open and clean the windows before they left. They cleaned everything up beautifully.

We had a patio door installed by Gold Star in early April. I cannot say enough good things about this place.They installed the door and cleaned up after themselves.

IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. SERGEO AND ALEX WERE FANTASTIC AND I WOULD DEFINITELY ASK FOR THES INSTALLERS AGAIN. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, PROFFESIONAL AND VERY FRIENDLY. MY SLIDING DOORS MADE THE WHOLE HOUSE LOOK SO MUCH BETTER. IT WAS MONEY WELL SPENT. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE GOLD STAR AGAIN!

Our over all experience was great. Roman, the sales guy was patient ( I had trouble deciding on what style on a couple of windows ) and not pushy. Since it was such a big job he made suggestions on how I might save money here and there so I could do all I wanted. The installation crew were great too. Sergio and Alex were punctual and professional. It has been my experience that a lot of these crews act like the customer is an annoyance on the job. They want to get in and get out and nothing else matters. Not the case with these guys. Sergio and Alex made sure I didn't have any questions, knew what was going on and when I did have a question took the time to explain things to me and they still got the job done in a timely manner. They took care to keep things clean and treated my home like it was their own. The windows are great. I knew my old windows were going bad, but my house is only 13 years old and I didn't realize how bad until I got the new ones. The AC hasn't came on since the install and it's like High Def looking out on my back yard. I like GoldStar Windows, their warranty, their professionalism and the quality of the product. I think I made the best choice.

From the moment we met "Ilia", I knew I would use Gold Star Window. However, I did my due diligence and had other estimates done. Gold Star prices are very compatible with others, plus their customer service was at the TOP of a NOTCH and that goes a long way for me.
Ilia was so approachable and likeable. He never tried to up-sell us anything. He loves the product and it shows. He followed up with us several times over the weeks, starting from the day of the estimate and until we got approved for financing.
Gold Star windows have a very unique look and there is nothing on the market today that even comes close. Ilia understood our desire to keep the look of our older home and walked us through the many options they have to offer, which worked perfectly for us.
Once we got approved, things moved quickly. They measured the windows twice, two different guys, to make sure everything was accurate. I loved this!
I loved knowing these windows were made right here in Toronto.
About two weeks later we got a call from the office that the windows were ready to be installed. This process was amazing. We had a four man crew in our house from 8 am until 8 pm. It was a long day for them but they were determined to finish the job in one day. They were efficient and professional. We were in and out all day and I never observed any laziness. They worked like mad ALL day.
The crew cleaned up all the mess when they were done, in no time. They hauled out all the old windows for us as well.
I am still getting used to my new windows. They look sooooooo different from my old aluminium ones, but I am excited.

The Gold Star team was put in charge of updating and installing five windows on the downstairs level of our home, and four windows upstairs. One of the windows is a huge, 7' bay window!
They came in one week, tore out all the old windows and promptly and accurately replaced them with their own, custom-sized, quality windows.
We were impressed with how fast they turned the project around - from the sales team's visit and re-visit to properly and accurately measure the window spacing - to the installation team's rapid turn around.
My wife and I were and still are, really pleased with the Gold Star products. Unlike our earlier windows, which were replaced, these actually do not ever feel cold. they keep the heat in and the cold out.
The sales team and installation team all did a very good job. plus, Andrew from management came to visit the house after the install to follow up and make sure we were happy. that was a really nice touch!
