Horrible Delivery Service

If you have to reserve and put down a deposit for an elevator time, do not shop at Sears. Basically anyone in a condo or apartment. I called their delivery toll free number for a 3 hour window. The night before they changed the time and told me there was no guarantee. So now the elevator is not available and I may have to reschedule....with of course, no guaranteed time.

shopped online at Sears.ca!! Worst online shopping experience!!!

Brought three items online!
Take a week to ship to the store for me to pick up.
However!! Two of three items were out of stock!! and no one informed me about the change of my order untill I called their customer service to find out how to get my items picked up!!!!

Won't shop with Sears ever again!!!

RIP OFF

Tool set with free shipping to my business. When I opened the box the plastic case it came in was busted open and sockets were spread everywhere. After putting the set back together 5 sockets were missing which most likely fell out the bottom of the card board box which had big gaping holes on the seams that had no tape on them. I called to get the sockets replaced. I was told I would have to ship the whole set back and also now have to pay for shipping back to sears and also pay for sears to ship me a new set. No Joke, they screwed it up and now they want me to pay to fix it. Is this a JOKE or what. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold, 2 hours later I was still on hold, called back and they played the same game LIKE MILLIONS OF OTHER CANADIANS I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING OFF SEARS, EVER. GOOD LUCK WITH YOU BANKRUPTCY SEARS CANADA because with customer service and treatment like that you will be bankrupt soon.

Online shopping at Sears.ca must be the worst that I’ve experienced.

Long story short; I bought 2 sleep sets online at Sears.ca. Both sets qualified for free delivery. First set went on sale right after I bought it. Sears failed to refund me the difference. I was charged a delivery fee for the second item. It appeared on the order summary AFTER I completed my purchase. Before I completed the transaction, the delivery fee was zero.
I spoke with 4 Sears customer service agents during one month period. At first I was told nothing can be done until I receive the items and the delivery charge is just a computer glitch. Then I was told that I must receive the credit card statement before anything can be done. After I had all of the above, I was told that I was supposed to pay the shipping fee. The agent did not even talk about the price adjustment for the first set.
The sets came in poor condition. One was dusty and had a dirt spot and a little hole. The second also had a little hole on a side. The producer of mattresses was not identified on the labels. They were shipped from King Koil.
I posted a review on the Sears website reflecting the QUALITY of the items. The review stayed there for a few days and was removed. Now one can find there just one review that gives this sets 5 stars.
In addition, Sears failed to provide anything that can be used as receipts for warranty and returns.

Worst experience I've ever had ordering online

Ordered an elliptical online. Set up a scheduled delivery date. Night before I did not receive a call so I phoned to ensure delivery was coming. I was assured they would call in the morning but everything looked good. No one called or showed up so I phoned again. Case was opened and for 2 more weeks I have been screwed over repeatedly. I have phoned every 2 days for the past 2 weeks. I phoned yesterday and they said they would cancel the original order and place a new order to get it delivered for next Friday. I notice nothing has been updated today and no new charge to my visa. I phone and they no longer have the item in stock but didn't bother to let me know. Wow! Seriously?? I will never under any circumstances deal with Sears ever again. Over 3 weeks since I placed my order and I am now starting all over again finding a new company to order from!

Appliance Delivery Delays

We bought a fridge and stove from Sears Oshawa on October 6th but were told delivery was not available until October 26th, we thought that was a long time, but we waited. On October 25th my husband and I went to show them the fridge was on sale, at Sears for a lesser price so we would like a refund for price matching, they were like, "No problem BUT you have to wait until AFTER the appliances are delivered," and we were informed at that time that OOPS they were going to call us that night because now the appliances were still not available and we were going to have to wait until November 9th, we were pretty angry as I really needed a new oven as mine was broken but what are you going to do? They also waived the $75 delivery fee, but again only AFTER the appliances are delivered, we thought okay its a small gesture since we would be waiting for over a month now.

November 9th rolls around and the delivery window is 7am to 6pm so you cannot go anywhere and you must take the day off work. It was getting later in the day on November 9th so I called, they told me the appliances would not be delivered until DECEMBER 9th now!! No one called and I lost a day of work and now still no appliances! My husband went and got our money back but now we still had no appliances and we are incredibly angry that I waited all day and they knew no one was coming for months and never even called! I had all my food and freezer stuff in a cooler waiting like an chump for a delivery that was not arriving! They don't care about you missing work or the time and energy spent rearranging your food and freezer things when they have no intentions of delivering anything to you for months!

Why are they selling this appliance in numerous sales over several months when they cannot deliver them for many many months after purchase? Something is very sketchy with Sears these days and I am not surprised in the least they are near bankruptcy.

I went to Home Depot on November 9th, bought basically the same fridge and stove and it is being delivered next Tuesday, November 15th, 3 business days after purchase. They told me they have 87 of the fridges in stock and 34 of the stoves and they would be delivered on time. They waived the $50 delivery fee for us and the sales person was very straightforward with us and no BS at all.

DO NOT GO TO SEARS FOR APPLIANCES UNLESS YOU HAVE SEVERAL MONTHS TO WAIT AND CAN AFFORD TO LOSE MANY DAYS PAY WAITING FOR DELIVERIES THAT NEVER SHOW UP !! HORRIBLE ETHICS!

New Washing Machine - Zero Service!

This is not the Sears of 10 years ago with great appliance service!! When it was delivered, they refused to hook it up because the hose went through a conduit in the wall (like most new installations), then wouldn't give me back my $100 delivery fee. When I was shopping for it, not one salesman would even talk to me to answer questions because I had been dealing with a different person. Now, a few months later, we are having problems and they won't even talk to me about my purchase without knowing the name of my salesman! Who cares who sold it, just fix it!. Sears won't even look at it but want to send me on to some third party repairer, but of course have to have the name of my salesman. I am so frustrated, but will have to dig up the receipt to get the name of the salesman so I can lodge a complaint. Over the past 40 years we have purchased most of our appliances from Sears - no more!!

Poor customer service

Very very poor customer service.No one could help me carriage out since I was pregnant and couldn't lift the baby car seat..ladies in front seems not to care at all.should close the store. Pathetic service.

Pitiful service

Don't buy an appliance from Sears unless you're prepared to throw it out if it breaks down. Fridge stopped working so I phoned for a repair - soonest they could come to even look or provide an estimate was 10 days! Who can live without a fridge for 10 days? Repair said we'd see someone between 12 & 4 -- Phone rang at 8:30 am and the service dude said he'd be there in 1/2 hour. He was a miserable guy and he left a mess - left the screws all over the floor as well as the one of the pieces he took apart. Said he'd be back in a week with the parts and would come at the same time. Repairs called us to say 12-4 again. A different service man called us just before 4 and said between 4:30 & 5:30. He arrived at about 5"30 and told us they ordered the wrong part ---- whatttt? They just called and said they would be back in one week with the correct part. Wonder if any of them would like to live without a fridge for almost a month?? Never calling them again and never shopping there again.

Sears worst company!

I need to rant...two weeks wait for a technician from Sears to come look at why my one year old $800 washing machine that is not working is ridiculous. Then 2 more weeks to get the part and repair it...not acceptable all what is this point on selling an extended warranty?
