It's nice to see that Tasco is asking for feedback, especially since your purchases are long term items and it is unlikely that we will be purchasing from you again within a short period of time. If I had to rate our overall experience with Tasco I would give you a 4 out of 5 and here's why.

We were moving into our new house on Thursday, January 19th. On Tuesday, January 17th, we were notified by our sales person that the washer and dryer that we ordered was discontinued. It was our understanding that appliances were reserved when ordered so were quite surprised to get this news. The answer provided was that the problem was with Maytag as they maintained that they did not get the order. Tasco, however, did take responsibility.

I'm sure you can appreciate that during the moving process, the last thing you want to do is revisit the appliance store to select replacements. The good news is that Tasco honoured the price for the washer and dryer and allowed us to select models that were superior to our original purchase.

The situation is one you really don't want to deal with at the time but overall we were pleased with Tasco's response. Our revisit to the store also addressed extended warranties. We usually don't purchase these but the policy to provide store credit if the warranty is not used changed our mind. I was also very impressed with the delivery staff. We purchased a brand new home and they took great care to cover the hardware floors and not damage walls, etc.

I would definitely recommend Tasco to others looking for new appliances.

Our shopping experience with the people at Tasco was very positive.

Mario, our salesman, the delivery coordinator, and the delivery people were great. I was also pleased that the refrigerator doors were changed to accommodate our needs and the packaging was taken away as part of the delivery service.

Again, this was very pleasant experience — and we will be back.

Thanks for checking up — this so important in customer satisfaction.

Couldn't be happier ....the service was great from the salesperson to the very polite, personable and smiling delivery guys. I would like to add that as a consumer, I was pleasantly surprised at how competitive the pricing was and as well, Tasco matched a competitors price. I was not pressured by the salesperson, nor made to feel I had to make this purchase hasitly in order to get the price I wanted.

Warranty Service

I have been very dissatisfied with Tasco's Performance Protection Plan. I have called several times now for warranty work on my Blomberg dishwasher. My experience has been that it takes close to a week for another company (Elite Appliances) to send someone to evaluate the repair. Then you may have to wait several weeks for a repairman to actually come with a part. I called after 1 week to find how long it would take only to find out later that the part hadn't actually been ordered yet and now it would take 4- 6 weeks to get the part. Really? My experience with other Appliance Repair is they come same or next day with parts in hand and if they need to order a part its usually available within a week. I've never had to wait more than a few days before to get an appliance fixed. This is absolutely ridiculous. If I had known before I would never had agreed to this extended warranty. Also now that the door springs look to be acting up now I'm told that anything on the door is not part of the warranty as that is considered a consumable. Really?? My idea of a consumable is a water filter not a door spring. That certainly was not spelled out or in writing. Don't get the extended warranties they are not worth it!

We're sorry that your experience with having your Blomberg dishwasher serviced under our Performance Protection Plan was not a good one. With any protection plan there are exclusions. Unfortunately our plan does not cover any part that does not prevent the operation of the unit. I hope this experience will not sway you from purchasing from Tasco in the future.

Tasco, Brampton

I do know why there are so many bad reviews about Tasco on this site? I had a very pleasant experience with Tasco in Brampton. I was mazed to see the vast showroom with large veriety of appliances. The salesperson Rajiv Bukhshi was very knowledgeable he helped us to find out our products ie Fridge, Stove and dishwsher within our criteria. After two days we recieved the delivery as promised. The delivery guy Brandon was very courteous and professional. I think some of the bad reviews are planted by Tasco competitors. Tasco should respond to these one if they are true otherwise I am a very staisfied customer of Tasco I will give them 9.9 out of 10

Kitchen Appliances

TASCO informs you they require 4 wks notice to place the order and have it delievered. We gave them 8 weeks. After the 8 wks they still didn't have our stove. Based on previous reviews, this seems to be a systemic problem with TASCO and its unacceptable as a customer.
In addition, TASCO never offers you the lowest price up front. You will ALWAYS have to go somewhere else and bring that lower price back to TASCO so they can "match" it.

We're sorry that there was a backorder issue with your stove. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of the manufacturers when it comes to the delivery of our stock. Worst place to buy appliances

They have sales staff who make commitment without knowing if items will be delivered on time or not. We made a purchase a year ago and still at time of delivery our expensive fridge not delivered. Still chasing them and no clear answer when it will be available. Not sure how they work.

Our shipping department conducts courtesy calls to every customer who places an order with Tasco. These courtesy calls allows the customer the opportunity to advise us on when they would like their products delivered and helps us to ensure that the product will be delivered on time. We ask that the customer provides us with 4 weeks notice of when they would like the product delivered and 6-8 weeks notice for special orders. We are sorry that your experience was not a good one. We hope that it doesn't sway you from shopping with us in the future.

Purchased 5 Appliance Pacakge

Don't forget that Tasco pricematches up until 3 months after they deliver the products. Keep checking for lower prices and update them if you find any!

Most pathetic service out there. Extended warranty is a joke.

Well, where do I begin. The sales staff are great. That's where the greatness ends though. I purchased a new induction range and Samsung fridge. The fridge (freezer section) broke 6 months into use (in was in our house for 8 months before during reno's though so it put it over the 1 year MFG warranty). Thankfully we purchased extended warranty. Ya right.

Here's where the fun begins.

1st service call - tech couldn't find a system fault but freezer was not working (1/2 day in lost wages staying home for this)

2nd service call - tech replaced main board. Unit still failed to operate. (another 2/3 day in lost wages for me)

3rd service call - tech shows up with a different part (also the incorrect part for our fridge) but performs other tests to confirm that this part was not faulty anyway.

Tasco asks us to talk to Samsung directly (who if course told us to talk to Tasco since it's past 1 year warranty and we have extended warranty through Tasco). Total BS for us to even have to do this.

Extended warranties are there to replace units/resolve problems in a timely manner. It's rolling the dice for retailers. Sometimes you with with extended warrant sales and sometimes you lose but you have to take care of the customer.

Tasco is basically only replacing the unit if Samsung will replace it for them. They're not taking any responsibility or actively working on my extended warranty plan.

I've received so many run arounds from this company that I can't tell which way I'm facing anymore.

I now have a 4th service call booked (more lost wages, soon to equal the cost of the $2000 fridge we purchased if this keeps up). We'll see how that goes.

It's 5 weeks into this ordeal (YES EXTENDED warranty is right), and I still have no working freezer, not to mention the spoiled food that I had to throw out.

I seriously don't know how they got to be 60 years in this business with customer service like this. They honesty need to change their profile description.

It's funny how appliances from 20 years ago STILL work like a champ and the new bells and whistles appliances can't even perform the basic of tasks like keeping food cold. I guess it's true, "They don't build them like they used to".

Improve and train customer service reps. Stand behind the extended warranty that they sell.
