I have been very dissatisfied with Tasco's Performance Protection Plan. I have called several times now for warranty work on my Blomberg dishwasher. My experience has been that it takes close to a week for another company (Elite Appliances) to send someone to evaluate the repair. Then you may have to wait several weeks for a repairman to actually come with a part. I called after 1 week to find how long it would take only to find out later that the part hadn't actually been ordered yet and now it would take 4- 6 weeks to get the part. Really? My experience with other Appliance Repair is they come same or next day with parts in hand and if they need to order a part its usually available within a week. I've never had to wait more than a few days before to get an appliance fixed. This is absolutely ridiculous. If I had known before I would never had agreed to this extended warranty. Also now that the door springs look to be acting up now I'm told that anything on the door is not part of the warranty as that is considered a consumable. Really?? My idea of a consumable is a water filter not a door spring. That certainly was not spelled out or in writing. Don't get the extended warranties they are not worth it!

We're sorry that your experience with having your Blomberg dishwasher serviced under our Performance Protection Plan was not a good one. With any protection plan there are exclusions. Unfortunately our plan does not cover any part that does not prevent the operation of the unit. I hope this experience will not sway you from purchasing from Tasco in the future.
