In the initial meeting, the agent from Gem Windows made a great recommendation about the kind of windows to install... he talked me out of getting expensive wood windows which he told me I didn't need for 2 backyard facing bedrooms, but that he could enhance the look of vinyl windows with wood trim. This worked out perfectly and was exactly the look I wanted. The crew came on time, installed the windows quickly and efficiently, laid out protective material to protect carpets and floors, and cleaned up thoroughly after the work was finished. The cost was very reasonable and I'm very pleased with the final results. The windows look nice, are super easy to open and close, upper and lower panels bend inward for easy cleaning, and they can accommodate an air-conditioning unit (which would have damaged wood windows). I'm very happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone shopping for windows! I haven't had any need for follow up, but have been pleased so far with their Customer Service. I had a previous VERY bad experience with the Customer Service of a different window company, Shaw Windows, so this window experience has been a pleasure from start to finish.

GEM replaced all the windows & a front door in our bungalow. We were very pleased with the great customer service provided by our salesman, Jim Christopoulos, and the installers, Joe and his crew, were punctual and courteous. A small manufacturing flaw in one window was followed up and replaced promptly. We are highly satisfied with our windows and door and will certainly recommend GEM to our friends and neighbours.

On the installation date Joe and his assistant showed up on time and completed the work within the specified time frame. A consummate professional, Joe was courteous and did his job admirably well! My 100 year old home has old windows and doors. This May was the third time we have used Gem to update our windows and doors and they provided the expert service we expect. This time they called as soon as the three new windows were ready and installed them the next day. The turn around time was a brief 5 weeks. The team was neat, clean, and efficient and completed the job in the morning. They also did troubleshooting on a previously installed door. When it is time to replace more windows and doors we will call Gem for sure.

The same day that we contacted Gem Windows and Doors, Phillip, our salesman, came to our home to review the situation and provide us with some helpful advice. He was also very helpful in having the installer come to our home asap to take the detailed measurements so that the door could be ordered. The installer, Walter, and his assistant were very professional in subsequently installing the door, and we are most pleased with the work and the end result.
