I count on Steve for all of our appliance repairs. Sometimes he tells me the repair is practical, do-able and cost effective; and if not, then he tells me it's time to buy a new appliance. I really appreciate his expertise and honesty.

We were frustrated with need to replace electronics on gas stoves. Steve listened and gave us very appropriate advice.
We have used his services for many years. Always we have been very satisfied.

Thinking I could repair things myself, like a moron, I started taking my dryer apart because of a weird smell coming from inside it. I immediately thought something had crawled in from outside through the vent and died inside the dryer somewhere. Needless to say, it did not go as planned and I ended up with an unusable dryer which was not fixed. Steve came in first thing the next day and had the dryer fixed within 10 minutes. He is a super nice guy, very personable, high energy, and talked to me about video games the whole time. Awesome! He also identified the smell as not coming from within the dryer but air from outside the house being sucked into the dryer vent because of a negative air space created within the basement of the house (apparently very common). Turns out the neighbors cat pooped directly outside the vent in the alley next to my house. Gross. I don't remember the exact cost as I am writing this review a couple of months after the fact, but I remember thinking it was a totally reasonable charge at the time. In short, great guy, very knowledgeable, reasonable price. I'd hire him again in a second!

I would highly recommend this company. Steve responded to my call very quickly, arrived when promised, fixed my dryer quickly, effectively and for a reasonable amount. This is the only repair company you should contact!

I have had occasion to call Steve for help twice now. The first time was to repair my washer. Steve returned my call promptly and came to my house to do the work when he promised at a fair rate.

On this latest occasion my oven wasn't working. Steve called to get some information about my problem. Before coming to my home he recommended a few steps to further diagnose the problem. He suggested that I replace the fuses as a test to "avoid an unnecessary call and expense". That solved the problem. I was once again impressed with Steve's customer focus. He could have easily come to my home and charged me for the service but he did not. I find that I always need to be on guard to make sure I'm not taken advantage of, this just isn't the case with Steve. It's great to know there are still honest and trustworthy businesses out there.

We have had Steve repair a washer, dryer, dishwasher (for my daughter) and a refrigerator. He is very prompt at responding to the call quickly and professionally. He really knows his appliances and gives good advice as to the best and most economical solution to the problem. My daughter and I would recommend him
highly. Plus he is delightful and very courteous.

Steve has repaired our dishwasher and oven. He's always prompt and efficient and cuts to the chase when it comes to repairs --- and even pointing out the design defects that cause problems (which helps us with other appliance purchases). He can help diagnose via email, phone, etc. - I highly recommend him.

I have used Steve's services multiple times for my washer, dryer, and most recently my oven.

Steve is always prompt, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. He will tell you on the phone what he thinks the problem might be and what the estimated cost might be. When he comes to your house he will be very clear about whether he can fix the problem. I like that he will also sometimes tell you that a problem could have been avoided and will explain what you can do to properly maintain your appliance going forward to avoid paying for a service visit.

Needed a new dish washer and this service company recommended dish washer makes to buy. The contractor installed the dish washer to our satisfaction and showed us how to use it. Highly recommended for appliance repairs.

We have used Steve in the past and trust not only his advice but also his quality, fast and helpful work. We had the water intake freeze up and break as well as celluloid. Balsam Pluming & Heating fixed up the plumbing with a quick install of a shut off and Steve order the part and replaced it the next day. I guess we need some additional insulation around those pipes.
