After two unsuccessful attempts at having the problem repaired under warranty (two different repairmen could not do the job) we called Steve, our go-to-appliance-guy. He had originally suggested to go the warranty route to save us some money. He always does that by the way: suggest the most economical route. I could go on and on with our probably 15 year loyalty to Steve and you'd never read to the end...suffice to say if it's an appliance and it's broken and I want it well and truly repaired, I would NOT in my wildest dreams even consider calling anyone else! I'm not looking forward to the day he decides to retire.

I have called Steve each and every time we have an issue with a home appliance at my own home and at our income properties. He has always replied promptly, worked efficiently, and explained all repairs, costs, and prevention methods. He will even take the time to do some simple *free* over the phone troubleshooting, which saves everybody time and money. I will never use anyone else! Thanks Steve!

We called Steve after a recommendation from a friend to repair our dryer that was screaming when in use and had been for sometime Steve told us over the phone that he would come and his fee also that it was possible that he could repair the bearing or possibly not and he would not know until you take in the dryer apart we decided to have him attempt to repair anyway which worked out the dryer has operated perfectly in the seven months since he was here I appreciated very much Steve telling me that I needed to make a decision whether not to take the risk of paying him to perform a service call where he may not be able to do anything or he may be able to fix it given what the diagnosis was by telephone this honesty and upfront policy went along way for us and we wouldn't hesitate to call Steve again for other appliance repairs he was fantastic and did exactly what he said

My washer stopped working last weekend. I left a message for Steve Brannan to which he replied at 8 a.m Monday. He asked a few questions, gave me a quote based on my information and came out the same day with the correct part and everything was done by 2:30 that afternoon within the quoted estimate. This is the second time I have used Brannan's and am really impressed with Steven's professionalism, knowledge and customer service ethic. Would not consider using anyone else.

I can recommend Brannan's Appliance Repair without hesitation based on more than 8 years of experience, and four appliance repairs, including a fridge, a dishwasher, and two clothes washer. Steve is an expert repairman. He is clear, responds to calls promptly, is well organized, informative, estimates accurately, and gives good advice. He is concerned about the environment, and is bothered by declining manufacturing quality over time. He'll advise you what to buy and whether it makes more sense to repair or replace. My most recent call to Steve Brannan was for a clothes washer repair. My favourite repair was also a washer repair during which he removed an underwire and a paperclip that had worked their way through the drum, down the drain pipe, and into the pump. He saved the machine and taught me how things really do disappear in washing machines! Long before I was a home owner, I listened to Steve on a call-in show on CBC radio about appliance repair. I appreciated his informative comments on the quality of appliances and his solid, common sense advice on repair even though I didn't own any appliances.
He was also recommended to my by a friend. He's great.

Quick service, accurate costing. From the first call when he quoted me a price, to the actual repair Steve was excellent. He showed up right at the time he quoted me and his initial quote based on what i thought was wrong was accurate. Would highly recommend his service.

Wow! Talk about great service. When we realized our dryer wasn't working properly I called Brannan's and left a message. Our call was answered within 30 minutes and by later that afternoon our dryer was working perfectly. Great service! Highly recommended!

In these days when it can be hard even to find someone who actually shows up the day they say they will, Steve Brannan's service was outstanding on every level. Prompt, pleasant and efficient. The price was on par with, or perhaps marginally higher than, other service providers, but in my opinion the service was better.

Steve's been out a couple of times to work on our dishwasher (not his fault -- the dishwasher's) and he's always been courteous, efficient, and reliable. Also trustworthy -- he could have gouged us, and he didn't. The stupid dishwasher's just started acting up again, and he's the only guy I'm going to contact.
