I moved from downtown to North York in January 2019. The movers failed to wrap any of my bedroom furniture. My 2 nightstands, my bed and a lamp were damaged, along with other small items. I reported the damage immediately on the day of the move and the movers said that someone would contact me for repairs or reimbursement. I did not hear back for 2 months so I called the office every week for 3 months and still did not get a call back. It was clear they would not be helpful. I then threatened to file a claim in small claims court, and at that point the new general manager (Jeff Latanville) came by to inspect the damage. He promised that the items would be repaired in short order. Again, no follow up. He finally sent the repair person in October of 2019, 9 months after the damage. The lamp was not repairable, so he promised to order a new one. Again, he failed to follow up and when he did he acted surprised that I had not received the replacement lamp. He promised that he had ordered it 3 weeks earlier. I pushed to get a copy of his purchase order and found out from the store that he had not told me the truth, he had only ordered the lamp on the day that I got him on the phone. This dishonest behaviour coupled by the time it took to repair my furniture was unacceptable.

Chris is a great guy - he's congenial, easy to schedule and very good at what he does. We've contacted him for prior repairs and it has always gone smoothly.

I called Chris at noon and by 3pm the door was fixed. Tony came by and was polite, kind and explained all the inner workings of my doors. He went above and beyond the actual repair by making sure everything on both of my doors was working well. Great service!

Our water heater failed on Labour Day weekend and flooded our furnace room. Max came out to investigate on the Sunday of the long weekend and completed the install by mid-week. He also noticed that a previous installer had not properly installed our HVAC system and provided valuable advice to have it rectified. Max is honest, hard working and clearly cares about his services.

I was very impressed with the prices and service at Olympia. I purchased tiles for my master bathroom and 2 shower door jambs and found the selection to be exemplary. Prices were reasonable. Great quality materials.

My only concern was that there follow-on charges for maintenance of the system (system shut off, turn off, checks) were pricey. When my lawn had a yellow patch and I asked for an adjustment, the hourly charge for the visit was pricey.

I hired this company to fix a leak in my basement. Roy Clark came out and was very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. I was impressed with how eager he was to please. The guys fixed the leak and were very quick and tidy. I have not had a problem since.

I hired this company to clean all the carpets on my upper floor. The cleaner was on time, he was courteous and very keen to please. I even asked him to clean my son's car carpet and he did without issue. He was thorough and careful. The cost was reasonable.

I called Tom (from Homestars) about installing a deadbolt (my neighbours had been broken into the previous night) and within 24 hours he was at our home. He is kind, hard-working, flexible, and very professional. We would not hesitate to use his services again. All tradespeople should aspire to be as efficient and capable as Tom!

David Utarid recently completed the tiling of our powder room. We had chosen small glass tiles to be applied on all 4 walls from top to bottom. This was a finicky job but David is really THE tile man. He has an attention to detail that is second to none, he genuinely cares about his workmanship and is a true perfectionist. He noticed touch-ups that we would have never picked up on! He also noticed that our toilet had been improperly installed and took the time to tell our handyman how to fix it. He also helped us install our wall-hung sink and patiently worked with us to find the best solution for a seamless installation. He is not the type of workman who only cares about his own particular job, but rather cares that the whole room (or bathroom in our case) is flawlessly completed. Moreover, he works long days and even weekends to complete the job. He is a joy to work with, exceedingly polite and caring. I would recommend to anyone needing tile work, he is a joy to work with.

Canada Glass installed my master bathroom mirrors and fixed my shower door. The workmanship was excellent, the service men were professional, friendly and hard working. A very positive experience. I hadn't even planned on having my shower door fixed but the estimator had noticed that it had slipped out of its molding and was hazardous. Good catch! I would definitely hire them again.

We hired Oris to install potlights in the basement and master bathroom, as well as troubleshoot our main hallway swtiches. He worked over several weekends and evenings, and delivered an excellent result. He truly has the clients best interests at heart, and cares about his work and results. Our potlights are great, and were installed with little damage to the celings. Oris is a true professional, who takes pride in his work. He treated our home like his own, and cleaned up promptly which was critical with our 2 babies lurking about.
