We were very concerned about our basement flooding after the heavy rain and long power outages we seem to be getting more frequently. We called Groundworks and they came out and provided a quote right away. They were very patient and answered all of our questions. Lucio, Tai and Robert did a great job installing the system, testing it out and they went above and beyond by extending the drain line when I wasnt sure if it was far enough from the house. I would recommend this company to anyone looking at protecting their basement from flooding.

We'd been a long term customer of Clark Basement Systems with an installation going back 10 years. We have done consistent annual maintenance every single year.

This summer, we had a storm with an extended power outage and the battery backup pump failed to move any water, requiring me to hand bail the sump pit. I get it, old equipment can fail, but I believe they should have been more proactive on replacing old components (which we did on the most recent service).

However, the battery is also old and I was told to go procure and install my own replacement. I expect the company to maintain their system -- including procurement and installation of any replacement components. I feel like we've been left to our own devices here, which is not something I appreciate for something so important.

I am not faulting our service tech who has been consistently reliable and has done excellent work over the years. But I do feel somewhat abandoned by Groundworks.

I hired Groundworks to remediate and encapsulate my crawlspace, and they did a phenomenal job. The team was clean, tidy, and incredibly friendly. Lucio, Tal, and Robert provided excellent service. I highly recommend them.

Andrew came out quickly for an Emergency call as my Sump Pump was squeeling so loudly. He checked everything out and made sure all was working well. On top of that he was so helpful, friendly and explained things to me. Such a great employee and company to deal with!

I was so impressed with an outstanding work done by Dustin as well as his team member, Jacob at Clarke Basement Systems! The staff were amazing and caring. The staff showed up on time and are very polite and professional. I had an unrenovated cold room that became moldy in the summer, so the room was unusable. Before their work started, they made working area well covered and protected. Dustin explained in detail what was being done and why, as well as answered my questions. Dustin pays great attention to every detail with his work. As a result of Dustins skillful and scrupulous work, our cold room renovation was a huge transformation, and the cold room becomes a beautiful extension of the house that I love to access and enjoy. This is an excellent company. I got an emergency with a wet insulation on the basement. Time was the biggest issue. They came, evaluated and set up the fix date in the shortest time possible.

I had the WaterGuard interior drainage system, CleanSpace wall membrane, and a SuperSump (with back up) sump pump system installed in my basement, and the rodent resistant screen and CleanSpace membrane installed in an adjacent crawlspace. A sump pump discharge system (IceGuard discharge line and buried LawnScape outlet) was also installed outside my home.

There was considerable rainfall soon after the installation and the systems worked as intended.

The inspection and quote preparation was done by George over two visits, and the installation was later done by Lucio, Tyler, and Russel.

George's inspection, including measurements, was meticulous and he was able to answer all my questions directly and clearly.

Lucio, Tyler, and Russel completed the installation in three days, and Lucio did a follow up inspection. The disruption was minimal, considering the nature of the work (it included concrete breakup), the work area was kept clean, and Lucio kept me well informed of progress and provided clear answers to all my questions.

Overall, George, Lucio, Tyler, and Russel were all very professional and pleasant to deal with.
