Sodding and Interlock Work
The owner of this company (Stan) is dishonest, and does not care about customer satisfaction. I hired this company to resod my lawn and do some sand application on my interlock. They dug up slightly more of the backyard lawn that needed to be replaced, so the project took longer than they had estimated. It was their own estimator who guided the work crew on scope of the project. They then ran out of time to complete the interlock work due to lack of daylight and the fact that they had broken their broom. They promised to come the next day to complete the job. They did not. I trusted them and paid my invoice in full and it has been 3 months now and they have not returned to complete the interlock work. I have spoken to Stan many times and texted him repeatedly and he constantly makes up excuses for why he is not coming to complete the job. Ultimately, he wants to be paid more to come back as the project took them longer than estimated. This is not my problem, and I regret that I paid them in full. I should have held back payment until completion of the job, but due to their favourable reviews, I trusted them. Do not make the same mistake!
