New Look Windows and Doors was one of several companies I called to get product details and quotes for a whole home window replacement (14 windows and 2 patio doors). Alex was a pleasure to deal with through the entire project. When I contacted him, he quickly set up a meeting to go over requirements, go through the options and answer many, many detailed questions. Within a few days he provided a detailed quote. I selected New Look for the project based on the product quality, the product options available, Alexs knowledge and expertise, and the price. While the price was not the cheapest, it was competitive and by far, the best value for the quality of product, warranty and the level of service Alex was providing. The installation took place a few months later. The installation team were talented and professional and the renovation went very smoothly. I could not be happier with the final result. The windows are gorgeous and Alex made the entire process easy. I have already recommended his company and will continue to do so without hesitation!

After a few disappointing visits from various electricians over the years, Mr. Electric was recommended to me. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and they provided a lot of info in preparation for the electrician to arrive. Paul arrived on time and I was very impressed with his knowledge, his expertise and he had a genuine interest in solving my issues properly. He answered all my questions (there were many!) and made great suggestions. The pricing was fair and he worked fast and efficiently. He will be my go-to electrician from now on!! Highly recommend!

I contacted Yevhen to diagnose my broken dishwasher. He found the issue quickly and also pointed out a few other problems that ultimately led to the decision that it was better to replace than repair. He was honest and helpful in determining the best course of action. During the same visit, he installed a new microwave. A few days after installation, an issue can up and he was responsive and ready to come back to resolve it (which was actually not necessary in the end). Very happy with the service he provided! Contacted John based on excellent reviews to install a new exterior door and trim. Was not disappointed! John and Art were a pleasure and did a fantastic job making sure the door was properly installed, including adding new insulation. It's been a few weeks and I am loving my new non-drafty door! This is the second time I have used The Duct Cleaning Specialists. Thanks to Paul, Mat and Nik for their courteous, efficient, professional service. Ducts are clean and my dryer is working again! Definitely recommend this company!

I have been an Alarmforce customer for over 10 years. I planned to cancel my Alarmforce home alarm system as I rarely used it (it was 10+ year old equipment with a dying battery). When I called to cancel, I was transferred to Amadi who did an excellent job explaining how my system could be upgraded to meet the changing needs I had for security. Instead of cancelling, I decided to renew my contract for another 3 years. The new system was installed a week later and I am happy to say the new system is amazing - the technology is way superior to the old system I had and I am getting the use I want from it. My only complaint is that they didn't reach out and contact me to explain new options that were available!

This was one of the main reasons I chose Advanced Plumbing for my repair. Thank you for NOT assuming I knew nothing about the source of the leak and making the process easy! And George.....I cannot compliment George enough. Professional, genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and did an excellent job installing my new faucet. No hidden costs and no surprises. Happy to add to Mark's outstanding rating on Homestars. He was able to fit me in at short notice and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. Installed a new outlet, made sure there were no problems in the electrical panel and brought me up to code with a new cover for the outlet. Had a great experience with Air In Motion Heating + Cooling. Steve was very fast responding to my request for service to perform maintenance on 2 gas fireplaces. He was able to schedule me in the same day which was very convenient for me. Peter did the work quickly and efficiently and offered very useful advice. Both fireplaces gleaming and working like new. I needed to replace my furnace and air conditioning unit and Fred helped me properly research options and made it clear what value I was getting with each option and each component. Once I had made my decision, the installation was scheduled at a convenient time and the installer Kam and his team did not disappoint. They worked quickly and efficiently, had everything installed within one day and it was clear they took pride in their work. Following installation, all rebates were processed on my behalf and extended warranties were registered for on my behalf. It really was exceptional service from beginning to end. Based on excellent HomeStars reviews for carpet restretch projects, I contacted Victorious Flooring to discuss restretching carpets in 2 large rooms + a hallway that had developed ridges and bumps over the past couple of years. Mark got back to me very quickly and was able to provide a competitive quote. I booked my appointment and Erdem arrived with his crew on time and did an amazing and thorough job. The carpets are like new - it's such a pleasure to look down and not see any ridges and bumps at all!!!!!! I had hoped for a reasonable result but they really exceeded my expectations. My next door neighbour used Dodds to replace his garage door and it was clear the quality was high so, when the time came for mine to be replaced, I called them. What a great experience. I too, now highly recommend Dodds for both prompt and reliable service and a very high quality product. Michael, the sales representative, was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my questions and Dodds definitely delivered what he promised. Omar came to install my new garage door in sub zero temps with a smile on his face. He's a professional - his work was excellent. I'm extremely happy with everything. Great job!

Paul, the owner, answered the phone right away (everywhere else I called, I got voicemail) and spent considerable time answering my questions and explaining the service to me. Atta from Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning arrived to evaluate why water was leaking from my air conditioning unit. He easily discovered the problem, explained what was causing it and fixed it very quickly. This is the second time I have used this company (first time for furnace repair) and have been very pleased with their service.

I am SO pleased with the service provided by Atiar from High Tech Appliance. I discovered my dishwasher was broken at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was fixed by 7pm THE SAME DAY. Atiar answered his phone right away (I tried 2 other places and just got voicemail). He explained the process and price and made the appointment to come 2 hours later. He found and fixed the issue right away. I love HomeStars not only for finding great small business that offer fantastic service but also to have the opportunity to let others know.
