This is the second time that we've had Home Electric do work in our house. Steven is prompt, courteous and patient. It's reassuring to know that we've found a company that we can trust and wouldn't hesitate recommending them.

We had a new furnace installed by another company in the winter. Our A/C had been working but it had been making a grinding noise which we could hear on the first floor. Anthony came and was in and out in a jiffy. The problem was that the other company didn't set the proper blower speed for the A/C.

We've had a lot of trouble with the plumbing under the kitchen sink. Azi bought all of the equipment needed (unlike some plumbers who want you to buy your own), explained everything in detail regarding the warranty and gave us very good advice about our hot/cold water issues. He's just simply honest and straight-forward. Very pleasant to work with.

It's not easy finding Iron beds in the GTA but Nine Clouds has many and it's worth the drive to Mississauga to see the wide selection. Ashley, my first and main contact at Nineclouds was terrific, from the first time I spoke to him on the phone until he delivered the bed. Ashley and Mohit were very careful to prevent damaging my walls or curtains or light fixtures when going up two staircases (which isn't easy in this house). Thanks to everyone for your infinite patience for questions and requests.

After returning a horrible off-gassing mattress to another company, I found TON furniture on Homestars. Andy took me into the factory and explained how the different mattresses were made. He was very helpful and after explaining about the horrible experience I had with the former mattress from another company, he assured me that I wouldn't have any trouble with the mattress or with his company. I've had the mattress for a few months but couldn't sleep on it since it's been sitting on a toxic bedroom set (yes, from the same company as the first mattress). So, I put the TON mattress on the floor of another room and I've been sleeping on it. It's wonderful - comfortable, firm but not hard and no off-gassing. Thanks Andy for the great service and great product. Now all I have to do is find a bed to put it on so I don't have to sleep on the floor.

I purchased the same bed that my daughter had bought at Arrow a few years ago. I also bought 2x end tables, a bench and a mattress. The mattress was gassing off terribly (unable to stay in room even), so after much time spent talking to Israel, he took it back with 1/2 money, 1/2 store credit. Now that the mattress was gone, I realized that the bedroom set reeked of volatile organic compounds. I've been airing it out since February and I still can't sleep in the room. I bought a mattress somewhere else and have been sleeping on it on the floor of another bedroom. Israel came out to smell it and said it had no smell and that I'm just one of those sensitive people. Strange that the mattress from TON furniture isn't causing me any problems. Strange that half my house was painted and I didn't smell anything after two days. Everyone who's been in my house can smell it WITH THE WINDOW OPEN - the set was made in Vietnam and it's just too toxic. I'm at my wit's end and I think that airing a set out and sleeping on the floor for almost three months is more than any customer should have to put up with. They won't give me a refund, a store credit or a set that won't make me sick. To say that I'm upset is an understatement.

We moved into a house last week and discovered that the kitchen drain reeked and needed a new faucet, the ensuite shower drain was totally clogged and the powder room drain was very slow. Valentin came to the rescue! Valentin fixed everything, was very trustworthy, and very, very clean. He even explained to us how to check our powder room sink ourselves. As well, he diagnosed why our hot water just wasn't hot enough with the temperature almost at the highest level on the water tank. We will recommend him to all friends and family.

We had a lot of delicate furniture to move from a large house to an apartment. The guys wrapped up everything in blankets in cellophane and even were kind enough to move two sofas into our next door neighbour's house. Very highly recommended.

Tom came out yesterday to do a home inspection for a home we were considering buying. He took us through the entire process, beginning outside and then throughout the house. At each step, he patiently explained what the problem was, how serious it was and how to fix it, followed that evening by a written report with photos. Tom is the consummate professional, both in his knowledge and in his interaction with clients. In fact, our real estate agent and the seller both asked for his card. Highly recommended.

My antique bed frame was splitting at the footboard and I was very worried that I would be crashing to the floor sometime very soon. This company cared enough to come as an emergency on a weekend evening. They glued it, braced it and nailed it. I'm very grateful. Very caring people.

We had called many electricians who came highly recommended on Homestars. Their answers to our questions were vague and their phone estimates outlandish. Serge actually came to our house to figure out what was going on with our dimming lights and it was nowhere as serious as we had been led to believe. We knew as soon as he stepped into the house that he was trustworthy. He not only fixed some circuits but also updated us with safety features and installed new fixtures. Serge is honest, hardworking, respectful and has infinite patience for questions from lay people. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

These guys had to carry very large sofas around a winding staircase and did it with ease and no damage. They also had some very heavy articles and had no problems. They were pleasant, professional and got a big job done as efficiently as possible.

This company is not like many other duct cleaning companies. Paul came with a high-tech camera to look 24 ft. down into a return duct to see if it was viable. He then vacuumed out an 8 ft. return vent that contained colouring books and dust from 30 yrs. ago - the other duct cleaning company just happened to miss this, twice. He also made an opening into my ductwork to check my evaporator on my air conditioner. I had been told previously by an HVAC company that there was rust and debris in there - Paul assured me there wasn't. It's so refreshing to find a company that is so trustworthy. With Paul's knowledge and honesty, I'd give him a rating of 11 if I could.
