It was my pleasure serving your security requirements. It was excellent that your front door lock was able to be set up to use the same key as your rear door. Much more convenient for you and your family. Thanks very much for your business and this wonderful review. Should you require lock service in the future A Perfect Pick Locksmiths will be very happy to respond with expedience to address your security concerns.
Really appreciate your review and your business Sue. In your case, the lock cylinder had become loose in your door to the point where I was able to remove it without damage. Once removed, it was easy to get your door open. Rekeying the lock cylinder resolved your key issue. Thanks so much for calling A Perfect Pick Locksmiths for your security needs. Should you need any assistance for other issues we would be happy to provide you with our mobile service.
Thank you Brenda for your fast review of the service we provided for you. The deadbolt that we supplied and installed on your door is of a better quality than what was originally there and it should provide you with many years of protection and worry-free operation. If you have any other security issues that require attention A Perfect Pick Locksmiths will be most happy to assist you. Thanks so much for your business.
Really appreciate your review Cathy. I did notice that your shed does not have an overhang at the entrance door. I was not surprised to find that when I did finally get the door open and removed the lock, that it was very rusty internally. Without an overhang of some sort, the weather can get inside of the lock and wash the graphite out of the lock. When this happens, you will notice that it gets considerably harder to have your key function properly. I am glad that we could get this issue resolved for you and I'm certain that the children are happy that they can get at the toys in the shed once again. A Perfect Pick Locksmiths thanks you very much for your business Cathy.
Appreciate your speedy review Ian. It was a real pleasure providing our mobile service to you. Thanks very much for your business and your excellent endorsement of A Perfect Pick Locksmiths mobile locksmith services.
Thank you Susan for your review. I always try to arrive at appointments either at the specified time or prior to it if at all possible. I also make my client aware of any issues that may arise in the future concerning either the door hardware or issues with the installation of the lock sets. The deadbolt lock on both your front and side door do have known issues as we discussed during my visit. Please keep us in mind should you want to replace those deadbolt with a more reliable brand it would be A Perfect Pick Locksmiths pleasure to aid in the selection of the right lock for your situation.
remove key, change inside lock, made 3 keys
Thank you very much for writing this wonderful review Inga. It really was a pleasure providing service to you. The Schlage deadbolt on your door is one of the older deadbolt lock styles. It is getting more difficult to repair that model of lock because parts are becoming more scarce as time proceeds. Luckily I did have the parts on hand and was able to resolve the issue for you at a reasonable cost and that's exactly what we're all about. No need to replace your lock if we have the parts on hand to repair it. We try to be as cost effective as possible for our clients. Once again Inga, thanks so very much for your kind words. If there's anything else that you require then please don't hesitate to call A Perfect Pick Locksmiths.
Thanks Yulia for your speedy review. A Perfect Pick Locksmiths really appreciates your business and are pleased to get your property secure for you again. When I provide a quote I always try to stay within that price unless of course, unforeseen circumstances dictate that a lock requires replacing then that would change the quoted price. In your instance, all of your locks were in good condition so lock rekey was the way to go. I thank you so much for your business and trust that you will call us again if the need arises.
--UPDATE--
To be completely fair about your update let's take a closer look at your claims.
#1 One and a half years after providing you service you expect that I should warranty a lock that I sold to you that has been on your shed and exposed to the outdoor elements including rain and snow, especially rain that washed out the dry graphite lubrication that the lock manufacturer put into the lock during the manufacturing process.
#2 You complain about your key not able to go into the lock. This issue exists because this lock is not protected from the outdoor elements such as rain which has washed the dry lubricant out of the lock that the manufacturer put in during the manufacturing process.
#3 The lock was not sold to you nor was any mention ever made to you about the lock being a "Water Proof Lock". As a matter of fact I do not know of any lock that is avalable to this market that is "Water Proof". Any lock brand supplied to you and put on your door would have resulted in the exact same outcome. If you allow a lock to be exposed to the elements then this is exactly what happens. The dry graphite gets washed out by the rain and you cannot get your key to enter the lock.
#4 Your anger displayed in your "--Update--" is understandable but your anger at my company and myself is not. You present an impossible situation that absolutely no one can guarantee or warranty. It is completely absurd that you expecting someone to work for next to nothing and replace items that are way beyond warranty that are actually not a warranty issue at all.
#5 To be realistically honest and frank about this entire situation, this is not a warranty issue. This is an abuse issue which no manufacturer will warranty, anywhere. The argument can be made that the blame lies with you that the rain entered the lock and washed out the lubricant the manufacturer put into the lock during the manufacturing process because you did not provide ample cover for the lock.
#6 Did you ever try and lubricate the lock so your key would go into the lock and operate it normally again? Not you! Instead you unfairly come onto this forum with absurd, inaccurate claims and your vindictive attitude and proceed to character assassinate my company and my person.
I feel sorry for anyone that provides any kind of future service for you in any capacity what so ever.
