Phillip installed our new air conditioner this summer, he was extremely helpful and courteous so we had no hesitation in using Reliance again when our furnace broke down, to my surprise Phillip arrived again and diagnosed the problem quickly to be the flame sensor which he replaced and as courteous as ever even vacuumed the furnace for me. I knew the service charge to be $150 and business been business I knew there would be a mark up on the part but there was nothing excessive $200 including tax. Apart from a slightly long wait time to get through to the call center I am very satisfied with the help and prompt service provided by Reliance and especially Phillip.

My furnace was condemmed due to gas leaks, in the spring. I waited until September, then called Reliance. Within days the rep was here, within 1 week the instalation occurred. The instal team consiststed of Greg, Drew and Yan. They were very professional, friendly and informative. This group worked very well together, it was very obvious they enjoyed what they do and who they work with.

Richard was very helpful and professional and provided us with the information we needed when choosing the model of the furnace as well as the addition of the AC coil unit that will allow for AC to be installed in the future. The installers, Paul, Richard and Kyle where very proficient, respectful and polite. Once the installation was finished the work area was cleaned and the job looked profession and great! I would recommend the this crew to friends and family.

Three years in a row, Reliance. The Furnace Company technicians arrived with no humidifier pads, even though I asked them the last two times to bring some. (You would think this would be standard procedure for a $300 tune-up for two furnaces). This third time the tech claimed there were no humidifier pads or filters in stock. When I complained angrily to the manager, ( what kind of furnace company doesn't keep pads and filters in stock?) another tech showed up with the pads and the filters two hours later. P.S. $315 for one hour of work seems pretty pricey. Shop around! I'm going to in the future. These folks don't seem to care once they've sold you the furnaces.

Further to the response from the The Furnace Company. Yes, I was grateful that I finally got the humidifier pads I had asked for. But that only came after a lot of complaining. Three years in a row of not providing the service that should be expected is not acceptable by any measure. And the fact is I was misled in being told that there were no humidifier pads in stock. If that had been the case, how did you come up with two in just a couple of hours?
Customers shouldn't have to scream and shout to get the service they ask and pay for. There's a disconnect here. Your installers are great, as witnessed yesterday when your contractor installed an on-demand water heater in our house. But given your record in servicing our furnace, I shutter to think what the service on that water heater will be like.

I needed a new A/C unit to replace my 15 year old unit which had died. The former company was not very responsive and it would have taken 2-3 weeks to get a new unit in, so I called Reliance after hearing from a neighbour that they were very good. This was true! I had a home consultant, Chris out within a few days, he gave me good advice about what type of unit I needed, and gave me a price that included removing the old unit. The price was about what I had expected so no surprises. Chris called and arranged for the installation on a day that was suitable and the team came to install it on that day. There were two installers, one was Steven A and I can't remember the other fellows name but he was very good and polite as well. They worked hard, were very meticulous and tidy. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I was very impressed right from the beginning! Jamie came to do the initial estimate and consultation, and his advice was honest and genuine! On the installation date, we got Jamie again, whose knowledge and experience were very evident (plus Tyler and Landon)....all 3 were friendly, tidy and meticulous in their work. We just love our new air conditioning, I cannot believe how quiet, comfortable and easy it is to use......wish we had done it years ago! Thanks Reliance :-)

Ambient noise and screaming children in the neighborhood finally did us in so we got a quote for a new A/C unit so we could keep the windows closed during the summer. Given the furnace was 17 years old, we decided to get a quote for a new High Efficiency Lennox furnace and Air Conditioning combo. Costco's cash back of $1500 was a nice incentive too! We were referred to Reliance The Furnace Company by Costco in St.Albert and got a quote. I decided to get a competitive quote, just to compare. The competitive quote came in at about the same price but for a better furnace. I called my Reliance sales person and in less than an hour, he called me back to say they could match the price and even ended up beating it! (I'm impressed). Reliance also gave me a 10 year warranty on parts and labor, where the competitor was only 1 year labor. (I'm very impressed) Greg & Drew showed up this morning and got to work. Very professional and courteous. This was a big job and you would never even know they were here. The job was completed very clean, is nice to look at (inside and out) and we are extremely pleased with the service we received. They explained the system to us, including the little annual maintenance things that need to be performed. These guys are a class act and I would HIGHLY recommend them. They certainly take pride in their work and it shows. Thank you Greg & Drew. you gave our home a heart transplant and made the experience painless. We are confident that we made an excellent decision going with Reliance The Furnace Company. Reliance is lucky to have you guys representing them. Bravo!

We've had 3 installations of A/C in our family and all have been done by Mark Belanger and his team. Although there was a glitch in pricing, Mark was able to get our A/C installed in a professional and timely manner. We appreciated Mark's excellent customer service and will always see him first for any furnace or mechanical service needs.

Just had our Air Conditioning units installed, "why didn't we do this earlier?" Reliance The Furnace Company was simply the best to deal with from our first meeting with Cory (sales) to our installation with Aaron and Tyler D. Now we can enjoy those bot summer nights without being "Sleepless in Sherwood Park!"
