Came to the house 4 times to complete the job. No complaints, super professional, great work. Prompt, polite, professional. I need at least Ten more words to complete the review. :-)

We had a/c installed this week and everything went very well. Aaron and Tyler D were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and quick. We were happy with the install date taking place only one week after the home consult, as companies with less man power have you waiting a month or more. We also had the furnace company install our previous a/c unit in our last house. Will use them again in the future if we do another move!

Had a central A/C system installed. The guy (Dave)came to do the estimate was knowledgeable and did not oversell. The guys who did the install (Brent and Jordan) did a FANTASTIC job on the install. Very nice neat and tidy. System was fully explained and works awesome. I have and would reccomend these guys to anyone.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service (or lack of service) that I received from Reliance Furnace Company today. I would strongly advise against using this company. If you are looking for a professional, respectful service look elsewhere.
Our air conditioner has recently stopped working properly (the fan in the outside condenser unit was not spinning). When I called the company at 8 am today (Saturday), they said they could have a technician out today for $239 per hour. The heat is over 30 degrees, so I agreed. When the technician (Justin) arrived at about 3:40 pm, he inspected the AC system (both the inside and outside units) within 10 minutes, and laid out three options for us.
He said that our system is very old and it is using the old R22 antifreeze which is going to be phased out soon, however, he could pump it with antifreeze today for about $800 to last us through this heat and possibly until the end of the summer; it was not the option that he would personally choose but he said he could do it. The second and third options involved installing a new system, either using the same type of antifreeze or the more modern one, but those would roughly cost around $2000 and $4-5000 respectively and we would have to wait 2-3 weeks to have it installed. He then proceeded back to his truck parked in our driveway without waiting to hear what option we would choose and just sat there and wrote the bill for $239. After he heard that we had chosen the first option (pumping more antifreeze into the existing system), he said that he refused to do so because he did not think it was a safe option for us (?), although he was the one who had offered it in the first place.
He then proceeded to tell us that he could set us up to meet with a salesperson today about installing a new system, and then the $239 could be credited towards a new system. We insisted that our preference was the first option that he had offered, but he absolutely refused to follow through with it. We refused to pay him for the call as he basically did nothing to help us and refused to provide the temporary fix that he himself had suggested. Most of the remaining hour, until almost 4:30 pm, was spent debating the matter with him. At our insistence, he agreed to write on the bill a clause about crediting the $239 towards a new system in the future, however, he wrote down that it had to be purchased within 1 month, even after being told that this would not work for us, as we are going away on vacation. The feeling was that he was definitely trying to upsell us into buying a new system instead of fixing the existing one. Even if we decide to get a new system, we would never deal with this company again, and would strongly advise others against doing so!

Dave came to my house and explained everything very well and sized a new furnace and AC unit. I had a new furnace,air conditioner and humidifier installed by Aaron M and Tyler D on July 10/2015. They were very professional, courteous and explained everything so well. The place was clean when they left and now I sit in a cool house watching football. Thanks To all 3 for a great job..

Sorry to say that we have mixed feelings about the company. We were impressed with the quick response from the quote request and all the information provided by Dave, our sales rep. We made the decision to go with Reliance and within 1 week, our installation was scheduled and done. Aaron and Tyler D performed the installation professionally and efficiently, nice clean work, all the extra touches to leave no trace with full explanations through the day of what they were doing.
We decided to go with the rental option, which is relatively new to Alberta and the administration nightmare began! After 1-1/2 months of phone calls to their rental division down east, they cannot get the correct rate in their billing system. There seems to be major communication issues between their main office and the individual sales office as after 2 months, the paperwork is still not correct in our file. We would not hesitate to recommend the Edmonton personnel for their professionalism, friendliness, and response times BUT cannot recommend the rental option to anyone. Two months after installation and we are still trying to get the contracted rate established in our billing. We wish that our rating could correctly reflect the division between sales and installation (10 stars), and the administration (1 star).

Very satisfied with this company, Jamie turned up promptly and provided advice and a satisfactory quotation with options. Aaron H and Tyler were here within the week to install the unit. Their positive attitude and quiet efficiency lead to a great installation. Now we have the weather to test the air conditioner and are very happy. This company does what it promises and on time.
We chose this company in part because of our positive experience when they installed our new furnace five years ago. Keep up the good work!

After a stretch of hot days, we decided to have central air installed - and sooner rather than later. We made some calls were looking at waiting weeks for a quote. We called Reliance and they booked us for a quote the very next day - which was a SUNDAY! Charlene came and spent time reviewing our options, informing us of their amazing promotions and ensuring our furnace/electrical panel would be sufficient. She was very knowledgeable and totally our style! Within a week, Steven was over to install our unit with the help of an electrician - both very professional. Steven had to make some magic with a retrofit, but he took his time and made it look like it was meant to fit!! He takes so much pride in his work - we were extremely impressed. The electrician showed us how to actually work our thermostat (no thanks to the instruction manual) and tidied up our electrical panel.
We are so cool and comfortable and would recommend this professional business to anyone! Thanks team!!

Reliance crew of Brent and Jordan did an extremely clean nice job installing the air conditioning unit. All lines and wiring were zip-tied together - real perfect and tidy looking. The 2 of them know what they are doing, answered all of my questions and were just great to work with. Highly recommend them!!
