Reliance The Furnace Company Edmonton

I was a real pleasure dealing with Reliance Home Comfort Calgary. I had been searching for a company to replace my 2 furnaces and possibly both a/c's. Daniel MacDougall (the customer service sales rep) was an amazing person to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and no pressure tactics were used. He went through various options and took time to explain everything. They offer both lease and outright purchase options. I decided to go with the lease option at first as their are benefits for lease but both options have pros and cons. After inking the deal to lease a few days later I found out that when you lease the company puts a lien on the property which I or the salesperson did not know so I decided to cancel the installation. Reliance was ok with that but Daniel offered me outright purchase option to make things right. The installation was top notch, the team of Installers Keith and Adam were great. They were utmost professional worked diligently and installed the units perfectly, the holes drilled for two vents were done so well. They cleaned up very well after job completion. Daniel saved me money because he recommended I replace the A/C coils instead of replacing the A/C units outside, he was very confident the leak i had in one of my A/C systems were due to deteriorating coils. After the coils were replaced and pressurized with nitrogen the pressure held. They will be back in the spring to fill with refrigerant. Price was very competitive and they made things right for an honest mistake. Highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs.

I am totally pleased with the service that Matt provided. He arrived right on schedule and did a thorough and professional job of working on my furnace. He was very courteous and friendly and I would highly recommend him.

I must say I am extremely satisfied with my whole experience with Reliance.
My Home Comfort Advisor Dave arrived on time as per sched. and walked me through what I thought would be a night mare (hubby was working). He explained the whole process making sure I understood the jargon he was using so when I did speak to hubby I actually sounded like I knew what I was talking about. Very thorough and very professional.
Booking the install was easy and efficient.
Kevin called the am of the install to keep me informed as to when they would be arriving and they arrived right on time (not getting lost we live in the middle of no where!) .
Kevin and Drew walked me though the install process (again hubby was working). And they went right to work. Next thing I knew it was installed it looked wonderful (old ugly units gone) and holy the room in my laundry room is amazing. Again Kevin took the time to introduce me to my new best friend. The new small, quiet, energy eff. best friend whom we will call "Goodman", again explaining the in's and outs of our new furnace so I could sound like I truly knew what I was talking about when hubby came home.
Dave called again to make sure I was satisfied with the install process and honestly could not say enough about the great experience with Reliance. From the in home consult to the final product I am very happy.
Thank you Dave, Kevin and Drew for removing our monster of a furnace that literally bonked in the night (nothing a good smack daily with a hammer wouldn't fix which I did daily and nightly) to our new BFF Goodman the small silent type.

We had a new installation of a high efficient furnace,air conditioner and hot water tank today. The work crew led by Kevin and Drew were exceptional. They called before arriving, laid rugs down on the floor and stairs to cry all the new equipment out and the new down the stairs. They started at 9am and were finished at 3:30 all old equipment and boxes were clean up. Very prefessional job and the work crew were professional in explaining the working of the new equipment. Very happy with the installation.

I got the furnace deal at Costco, salesman Keith was excellent, nobody can beat that price, I called around. The Reliance salesman that came to my place (not Keith) & installers Aaron M & Tyler were all exceptional, even going way above the call of duty. However the call center is absolutely terrible. All I needed was the arrival time of the sales call & it took me through 2 separate 45 minute phone call loops, that involved charging me $5.00 to get me back to the initial number I called. Reliance you should fix that, it'd be nice just to talk to someone in the hometown office & much more efficient.

We found through ongoing maintenance that we needed a new furnace and air conditioner, we also chose a pure air cleaner an ultra violet air cleaner do to allergies in the house. After receiving multiple quotes for the required equipment we chose Reliance due to the options that were presented. The workers came to the house prepared for the job. Aaron and Tyler D. made a commitment to be complete by 2:00p.m. And at ten to two we were reviewing their work. Throughout the day they answered any questions we had. They worked efficiently and effectively together to get it all done. They left an extremely clean area and exceeded our expectations. We will recommend Reliance, and their team of Aaron and Tyler D. to our friends and family if they are looking for this service. Thanks guys

Our 35 yr old furnace quite at below zero, wife called as I was out of town, had fast and great service from Justin, Aaron and Tyler. Always wanted Air Conditioning so we did it at the same time. Furnace is running awesome.
