Swat Wildlife and Insulation

We had raccoons nesting between our kitchen floor and basement ceiling. Derick arrived in the pouring rain, established the place where the raccoons had entered our property, removed the old timber, dug a trench,fitted metal trellis, back filled the hole, added a one-way door, and was done in an hour. He was very tidy, courteous and reassuring. I would recommend him to anyone.

After hearing a noise in the attic I became concerned and gave SWAT a call. Patty was quick to get back to us to schedule an appointment. Bruce came to our house on time and searched the entire home. He found some mice droppings in the attic and used several measures to take care of the problem. He also installed some caps for the chimney to prevent any future problems. Bruce was professional and showed and explained what he was doing. Would highly recommend Bruce and SWAT!

We have an older home and we could hear animals in the ceiling of our gym which is directly below our kitchen. We had spent over $35,000 gutting our gym and wire meshing everything with our contractor so nothing could get in. Within days we could hear animals again. Our contractor contacted several animal control companies only to hear every excuse imaginable as to why they wouldn't take on the job. One company came and told me to rip of a $50,000 deck and then they would look. Finally our contractor got a hold of Ken and Bruce from Swat Wildlife. Within 2 minutes they told us it was raccoon's due to the smell. And within 2 hours they had found the access point and messed the entry with a one way door. A week later they came back closed up the door and we haven't smelt the raccoon smell since. Ken and Bruce were professional, extremely courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in every way imaginable. You couldn't find better people or service.

I called SWAT Wildlife to deal with a squirrel removal from my attic. Derrick was very helpful in identifying places where my house was vulnerable to animal intrusion. He resolved the problem quickly and efficiently at a very reasonable price compared to other companies I called. They will be the first company I call if I ever have another problem. We've had raccoons coming and going into our attic for nearly a week. We called the SWAT team and they were onsite the next day. They answered all my questions. Ken and Bruce are incredible in what they do and I highly recommend them and SWAT to anyone who has any wildlife problems in their home. You guys are awesome.

Ken and Bruce arrived to investigate scratching noises we were hearing in the upper floor ceiling of our home. Ken suspected mice and proceeded to check the perimeter of the home for entry points. He and Bruce then checked the attic and found evidence of mice. We had roofing work done awhile back which could have been when the mice moved in. They treated the area and proceeded to check the rest of the home and lay bait as a precaution, even though we have never seen or heard mice anywhere. They were very thorough and professional. Ken also suggested sealing the brick soffit gap to prevent entry of wildlife. I was very impressed with this company's quick response and fearless search for wildlife ( no facial protection worn!) I would recommend them to neighbours and give them a 10 rating.

We have had bad odour in basement for over 3 weeks. Called the Swat Wildlife and was glad to say Ken found and removed animal from our inside wall. He also disinfected area and removed all garbage. Ken and Bruce also screened all around deck so no further incidents will happen!! I'm so happy with service and would recommend it to all my friends and family!!!!!

Ken was just brilliant. He was patient, thorough, professional and proactive.
He was patient in explaining the procedure for helping us get rid of our raccoons. He realized that there was a language barrier with my neighbours with whom I had to try and slowly explain the procedure/ process and he didn’t make us feel rushed or cause greater confusion by speaking quickly – he took his time which was very helpful.
He was thorough in that he took the time to inspect both our roofs (we have a semi-detached home and therefore share a roof). He took the time to inspect where the racoons were coming in from, where they tried to come in from where they’re probably resting through the day and also made us aware of what damage they had caused while on top of our roof and inside our attic.
He was professional by telling us what our options were but didn’t push – no hard sales, just recommendations and sound advice. He didn’t make us feel cornered or threatened, he was just helpful providing us with his trained expertise which I really appreciated. He gave us a quote before he started and stuck to his price. He didn’t try and swindle more money after he did his job. He even came back to make some adjustments (at no extra charge) when I continued to hear noises in the attic.
He was proactive in fixing some of the minor damages caused by the raccoons while on the roof without asking – he just did it - it shows he really cares and once again, that meant a lot to me.
I would call upon Ken again in the future if need be and recommend his work to everyone.
My only wish was that they’d have the authority to trap and take the raccoons far, far away or euthanize them - that way they wouldn’t linger around in the neighbourhood and potentially return.

I went into my detached garage to discover a hole in my roof and 3 sets of raccoon eyes staring back at me. After unsuccessfully trying to scare them out on my own, I called SWAT and they had Ken over first thing the next morning. Ken was able to get the little guy out, fixed up two holes AND reshingled over it. Amazing service, I would definitely recommend to anyone.
