Reliable Home Comfort

Rob and Dave answered my call and arrived quickly over the weekend. They very efficiently diagnosed the problem and fixed my A/C problem. I am really impressed by their professionalism and outstanding service. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I would highly recommend Reliable Home Comfort for your heating/AC needs. Prior to purchase, I studied the marketplace and contacted potential suppliers (initially based on price). While some promised a slightly better price, I was truly impressed by the informative discussion that I had with Rob L at Reliable. His knowledge and expertise easily convinced me that they were the ones for the job.
Installation was easily arranged... they came on time, worked neatly and completed the installation, including an ultra-important short education on the how to properly use the system, and its benefits.
They have followed-up several times to make sure that things are working well and have quickly responded to any questions/concerns that I have had.
I feel truly confident about my AC, knowing that I got a good price and proper installation, but more importantly that I have smart and trust-worthy support/service, in case I need it.

Quick, reliable guys came by the house, left my place clean and Tidy, very awesome guys, would definetly recommend to all my neighbours. hard working individuals, Arrived promptly and showed me how all my equipment functioned.

After being told by direct energy that I required a new air conditioner, I called a few companies for quotes. Rob and Rob from Reliable home comfort arrived promptly and were exceptionally polite throughout their time in our home. They were actually able to repIr the existing air conditioner, which had been previously rendered unfixable. This solution was much more cost- effective, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I hardly ever write a complementary review to anyone unless they have given me exceptional service; such is the case with Reliable Home Comfort. With over 30 years of Customer Service I usually find it easier to find fault then make accolades. Last Tuesday May 31, 2011 the City of Toronto issued its first Heat Alert for 2011, advising residents to stay cool during a sticky end to an otherwise rainy May.
Sure enough after trying my AC for the first time this year it did not work, this just compounded an already messed up week, and having a sick kid at home with a fever defiantly was a concern. I called Dave at Reliable, who by the way did a fantastic job installing my new furnace the previous year, and he said he could come by in a few hours as he was understandably busy. True to his word, there was a knock at the door around 8.30 pm, it was Dave. He proceeded to fix my AC as darkness and mosquitoes quickly fell upon us, he tried his hardest but was missing a small fuse which had blown, and called his partner to see if he was around to drop one by.
Unfortunately for me he was not, but said he could drop by first thing in the morning, and complete the repair, to which he did. All for the cost of $0.00!!!! This type of exceptional service is something most companies are missing in today's fast moving world. It is a breath of fresh air to see a company still believing that the customer comes first.
Hat's off (not just do to the heat, to which I don't have to worry about anymore, at least inside) to Reliable Home Comfort, showing me that there are still companies that care.

We just arrived from Vancouver with 2 small kids and bought a new house in Thornhill Woods, we had 6-7 vendors knocking on our doors trying to sell us A/C , we did deep research on each one and most of them had complaints in BBB or here.. we decided to go with Reliable Home and it was great !! can on time, weekend installation (our choice), 3 guys, fast,clean professional, explain us on every decision, every component, the price is very good and the service was great, this is the second excellent vendor we getting form HomeStar (home inspector was the first..), , great job.

We arrived home late Saturday night after being out of town for the prior week to discover a cold house and a furnace that was not functioning. The furnace is 21 years old and so we anticipated the worst. After consulting Homestars (which we have done for our past 4 home projects, to great success) we found Reliable Home Comfort. Their reviews were outstanding and so we called on Sunday and they were at our home in under an hour. After spending a considerable amount of time working to restore the furnace it was obvious it was a lost cause. Rob and Dave were very patient and took us through the various options in plain language. Their quote was very reasonable and so, we arranged to have a new energy furnace installed the next day. [Amazingly, there was no charge for the Sunday service call which was most impressive]. Dave explained that the furnace will quickly pay for itself due to it being high efficiency. They arrived Monday morning and worked non-stop. They also were kind enough to service our water heater. Dave and Rob's were very knowledgable, professional as well as very down to earth and friendly. If you face the daunting task of replacing a furnace, you should not hesitate to contact Reliable -- they make the entire process painless. They even processed our rebate forms! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I replaced my old furnace and air conditioning to higher efficiency units to take advantage of the government's green programs for homeowners. Being human, I left the replacement to the last minute and as the installation deadline got to the last couple of weeks, I found getting a company to come and do the job on short notice really challenging. I asked a friend for a referral and called Reliable Home Comfort. I got a quote the next day and the installation was done two days later. The installation guys came and took great care not to damage anything while moving out the old unit and installing the new one. They explained to my son, an aspiring engineer, how the whole system was designed to do the job and he was very impressed too. They faced a space challenge to fit the air conditioning unit into the location of the old unit. They called in one of the owner's of the company and after a short discussion, they completed the job, cleaned up the area and departed with the old units. My house made the inspection deadline and I have received my rebate cheque. I am a very happy and greener homeowner.
