We purchased a Kenmore High Efficiency furnace in 2007, The unit is still under warranty until 2017. We have had a water leak from the furnace for almost a year now. We have had 4 service calls in the past for the same problem - no resolution. So I made a 5th call. Service for furnaces and AC's was sold to a company called Reliance which is based in the Phillippines. I requested that our service call be escalated - which they did. They then scheduled a service call without consulting me first.I found out about it when I called in to check on something else. The service call was set for 7/27/2014; a Sunday. They stated they would call ahead on the previous day to confirm the service call - NO ONE CALLED! So I called them on 7/27 to find out when they were coming out and found out that the service department was closed and that they were only open Monday to Saturday.
WHY IN THE H*** WOULD THEY SCHEDULE A SERVICE CALL ON A DAY WHEN THEY KNEW THAT THEY WEREN'T GOING TO BE OPEN!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
SEARS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!
When I tried to talk to a supervisor I was told that they were unavailable. I asked on three seperate calls - same answer.
Sears was a great company that always took care of its customers but apparently NOT ANYMORE! The service technicians have lost all the concepts of common sense, efficiency and honor in their work. The last gentleman walked through our house with his dirty shoes on. He never even gave us a reciept for what was done, or an apology!
SEARS HAS BURNED INTO ME THE FACT THAT THEY DON'T CARE! IF ANYONE ASKS ME ABOUT SOMETHING AT SERVICES I WILL PROBABLY TELL THEM TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I WOULD LIKE TO HERE FROM THERE CORPORATE OFFICE - I HAVE TRIED CALLING THEM AND CAN'T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE - NOT REALLY A SURPRISE THOUGH!
WHEN SEARS SOLD THEIR SERVICE BUSINESS THEY BASICALLY SLIT THEIR OWN THROATS.
I WILL NOT DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN!
