HORRIBLE! Bought the vacuum in Nov 2013. Broke in June 2014. Took it to the store June 23, they told us to take it to their contractor. Took it to the contractor who said he needed a service order # from Sears to be able to order the part... get this, from SEARS, but we have do get it, Sears wont give it to the contractor. So we got the #, gave it to the contractor so he could call Sears and order the part. Whew! Sears said 6-8 weeks. Its now Sept 19. After calling for three weeks I've been told the part will arrive Oct 27. Then it will be a few weeks to fix. Of course, I won't be living in the city anymore, so I'm assuming they might mail it to me?? When I asked them to just take the vacuum back and give me one that works they said no, the part has already been ordered. In the meantime I've been vacuuming without a beater bar, with my now 10 month old crawling all over. Not ok. So I guess my only option is to buy a new one. NEVER going to Sears again. Its no wonder they are going under.
