Installed an air conditioner and humidifier unit with High Efficiency cooling & Heating in 2014. Charlton went out of his way to come over on a Sunday night to provide a quote and his prices were very competitive. He was able to beat the lowest price for the same a/c unit I received from several companies at the fall Home Show. After listening to his suggestions, we went ahead and signed. Installation was performed two days later and the results were great! The technicians were very careful to mount the unit to the exterior brick as close to the fence line as possible without crossing into the neighbour's yard as the fence was not installed yet. The Carrier unit is quiet and provides ample cooling, and the in line humidifier we installed works perfectly. After 3 years, the unit still works like new and we have not had reasons to call for service. We would highly recommend Charlton and High Efficiency Cooling & Heating! My furnace started to malfunction last week. We called a service company with whom I had good relationship with to come and diagnose the problem. It was determined the heat exchanger no longer worked and that the furnace must be shut down immediately. We had the option of replacing the exchanger or replace the furnace. We chose the latter. However we decided to get another quote even though we knew we had to get this done asap. My in-laws highly recommended High Efficiency Cooling & Heating so we gave Charton a call at 10pm. He came to our house at 11pm and explained in details all of our options without any pressure. We soon came to an agreement and installation was scheduled the following day!

Keith and Mike came the next afternoon and replaced our furnace. Charton came by to check in on the progress as well. The job was done very professionally. They even cleaned my AC system as a bonus.

Two days after the furnace was installed, we noticed some water leakage at the bottom of the furnace. We called Charton right away. He in turn contacted Keith. After spoken on the phone, Keith drove all the way across town on a Sunday night to come and looked at the problem. It turned out there was a small manufacture defect with the condensation collector. We were very impressed that both Charton and Keith took our problem so seriously and address it right away.

The new furnace is now working very well and we are very happy with the decision to go with High Efficiency Cooling & Heating. We have no problem recommending them to family and friends!

I had a great experience with the consultation, installation and follow up of my new AC unit. We purchased the Carrier Infinity 96 2 stage furnace and the Infinity 17 A/C from High Efficiency in September to replace our old ones. The reason why I waited 2 months to write the review is because I wanted to use the system for some time before I comment on how good the installation and the furnace is. Well, the furnace has been on for a couple of months now and its working great! Since it's towards the end of the year, we have decided to install the A/C in the spring instead especially we were having the side patio re-done at the time. So, it makes sense to complete the side patio first before the new A/C is installed.

Charton is the sales rep we dealt with throughout. He is very upfront and extremely helpful and responsible. He always answered and replied us promptly thru text. He came to our house the day of the furnace installation to make sure the work is done as discussed.

The technician came on time. They removed the old furnace and installed the new one. Job was done well and place kept very clean after they left.

A couple of days later, we noticed the old A/C was on all the time despite the fact that the desired temperature was reached. We called Charton to explain the problem. The technician came a few hours later that day to look into the problem. It turned out that the furnace needed to be reset to be in sync with the new thermostat. All was good after the reset. Really surprised how fast they acted on the problem. Didn't expect that !

Since our house was built in the 70's, we have both aluminum and copper wiring. To be on the safe side, we requested the technician to change the main switch for CUAL rating as well as to apply anti-oxidant on the wires. They came back and did all that work within a day without additional charges.

After the furnace is all done, the crew came back a couple more times in October for the A/C prep work based on our request. Since we had to re-do the side patio, we requested them to come, disconnect and dispose the old A/C. They did that as arranged, no charge !

Then when we were about to lay the patio stones, we requested them to come back and do the new wiring for the A/C since we are moving the A/C to about 10 feet away from the house. They need to put the new wiring and copper pipe in a conduit and bury it underground before the new patio stones can be placed on top. Again, they came on time the day we requested, did all that work. No charge !

We can't be more pleased with their service and professionalism. Up to this point, we still need to have them back one last time to install the A/C in the spring.

Charton and the crew are amazing and we will recommend them to all our friends. The only little thing is the language. Some technicians may not be able to speak fluent English. It is really up to you to decide whether it will be a problem or not. Everyone is different!

This is the late review. I replaced my furnace & water tank in March 2016. The strongest impression was their honesty. Rick honestly introduced the products; The salesman Tony honestly explained the details of product and the installation procedure; The installers Mr. Lu and his assistant came on time, carefully installed the products and answered all my questions; The receptionists Iris and Yue worked hard to help me got OPA rebate. All services were excellent. I was satisfied with their professional and honest services and would like to recommend them to my friends when they need.

We had a Carrier furnace installed by High Efficiency Cooling and Heating Inc. The initial in-home consultation was provided by Charton Teng. We found Charton very professional, as he explained the technical facts and options to us in detail together with rebates and warranties available. There was no sales pressure in his approach and the price quoted was reasonable. We also appreciate his follow up visit to ensure that we were satisfied with the installation. Thanks Charton!....for the smart ecobee3 thermostat. We love the WiFi enabled features and the new look. Danny and his team also did a great job of completing the installation in a very short time. We will absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

My A/C was replaced. Charton was so efficient and professional explaining all my options. The installers came on time as promised, and Charton came by during the installation to make sure all was proceeding well. He answered all my questions and even checked in several weeks later to see if all was well. The price was competitive and the service exceeded all my expectations. Excellent customer service! Charton Tang definitely knows his stuff! There was no sales pressure, just straight facts and options/recommendations were provided. The installation team led by Jason, was quiet, courteous and efficient! They were totally in sync with each other. The work was great quality, completed in short time and we received a walk through after the installation. We really appreciated the follow up by Charton, just to make sure all went well and that we were satisfied with the installation.
