I had some problem with my water heater. The service man who initially came to fix the heater gave me some misinformation about my plumbing. I contacted Award Plus Plumbing based on its HomeStars rating. Alex responded right away. After listening to my 'problems' he patiently explain to me why I shouldn't be concerned about the so-called issues. So in the end I didn't need Alex to come, but I was still very grateful for his time and expert advice. After this interaction, I won't have any hesitation in hiring Award Plus if and when I have REAL plumbing problems.

My furnace started to malfunction last week. We called a service company with whom I had good relationship with to come and diagnose the problem. It was determined the heat exchanger no longer worked and that the furnace must be shut down immediately. We had the option of replacing the exchanger or replace the furnace. We chose the latter. However we decided to get another quote even though we knew we had to get this done asap. My in-laws highly recommended High Efficiency Cooling & Heating so we gave Charton a call at 10pm. He came to our house at 11pm and explained in details all of our options without any pressure. We soon came to an agreement and installation was scheduled the following day! Keith and Mike came the next afternoon and replaced our furnace. Charton came by to check in on the progress as well. The job was done very professionally. They even cleaned my AC system as a bonus. Two days after the furnace was installed, we noticed some water leakage at the bottom of the furnace. We called Charton right away. He in turn contacted Keith. After spoken on the phone, Keith drove all the way across town on a Sunday night to come and looked at the problem. It turned out there was a small manufacture defect with the condensation collector. We were very impressed that both Charton and Keith took our problem so seriously and address it right away. The new furnace is now working very well and we are very happy with the decision to go with High Efficiency Cooling & Heating. We have no problem recommending them to family and friends!

We just had Andrew and his team removed a dead ash tree from our backyard and replaced it with a locust on the same spot. Andrew was very pleasant to deal with. He responded to my all inquiries and questions in a timely manner. We must have exchanged 10+ emails prior to the job and each and every questions were patiently answered. Everything was done professionally and the price was fair. They cleaned up all the debris afterward. We are 100% satisfied with the work. Highly recommended!

In June 2013 we were looking to replace our aging AC which was nearing the end of its life. As well, we wanted to return the terribly inefficient water tank to Enbridge and replace it with one of our own. We got 3 quotes for the job, and Stouffville Home & Comfort actually was the highest bid. But we still chose them to do it because Brian gave us the most confidence that his team will do everything properly without cutting corners. This was very important to us. We'd rather have things done right than saving a few dollars up front. And we were not disappointed. The installers did a great job. Instead of rushing through it, they took their time to make sure everything was done right. They also cleaned up all the debris before they left. Brian also took care of rebate submission, and the return of the water tank rental to Enbridge. The latter saved us the hassle of having to wait for Enbridge to schedule time for a pickup. One minor complaint I have in dealing with Brian is that sometimes he doesn't return emails/phone calls promptly. But overall I am more than satisfied with the service provided.

I have been using their service for the last 2 years now. Very punctual. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Price is fair. Love the fact that you can correspond with them via email.

If you can get him to come, Eric provides great service at a very fair price. I used him twice and he was great! However on the third time, it took me 5 calls to have him finally return my call. After setting up a time to come, he didn't show up for the appointment. When I called him again, he didn't apologized for not coming. We arranged a second meeting and again he didn't come. That was when I said enough is enough. I have since moved on to another irrigation company. Please note this incident happened 2 years ago, so maybe things have changed.

As others mentioned, Yitzie not only replied to emails promptly, but he was very patient answering all my questions. The young man he sent to do the work was polite, punctual and clean. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended!
