Had my roofing done by Penfolds and we are 100% satisfied, they have been awesome guys to deal with. I give two thumbs up for Michael the contractor; he has a very good work ethic and his customer service is a plus. Again, thank you Penfolds great job.

My home was re-roofed this past spring and I am very satisfied with the quality and service. Even more impressive is the post-roofing service I have just received. When I noticed a small gap in my stucco near the roof line, I asked Penfolds if they could fix it, not knowing for sure if this was a roofing issue of something I need to deal with. They came and repaired the hole with matching flashing and also did the opposite side so it looks uniform. I was so impressed. Great service!

We just wanted to drop you an email to sincerely thank you for a job well done on the roofing project at our house. For years, I’ve been listening to the Penfolds commericals on the radio and watching and hearing of other people who have had positive roofing experiences with your company. When it came time to do our roof, I already knew that I wanted Penfolds to do it and you did not disappoint!

From the moment that Jonathan came to the house to measure the roof and discuss options, we were impressed. Here a few of the specific things we liked:
* no pressure approach to do anything from the beginning. Our initial appointment was just to get an evaluation of "where our roof was at” although we knew in doing so that could lead us down the path of actually getting the roof “done”.
* at the follow-up meeting, Jonathan clearly outlined the options available and prices, including presenting a contract with easy to understand language and up front displaying of insurance and WCB compliance. It was great to see everything in writing in an easy to understand format.
* communication throughout the process was clear, friendly and appropriately frequent (Raina and Jonathan)
* we particularly appreciated Jonathan willing to take our calls and answer questions about things we were concerned or unsure about (particularly weather, rain and concerns about leaking)
* the care the crew took to respect and clean up our property and that of the neighbours
* looking after final details such as the gate not closing after debris was removed and then offering to add inside trim stripping to the skylight as bonus to causing an issue with the gate
* attention to minor details such as spray painting the chimney pipes and vents in brown to match the overall look of the roof
* having someone come by to do a final inspection to ensure all was in good order.

This company was very professional. Polite , neat , clean and on time. The estimate was accurate and within our budget. The crew worked on our roof in extreme heat , but still finished the job in the allotted time frame. The cleanup was excellent and our new roof looks amazing.

Seven months ago I wrote a glowing report for Penfolds about how pleased we were with our new metal roof. Since then our family has moved house and decided to have another metal roof installed by Penfolds on our new property, because we were so impressed the first time round.
This time round the whole process from start to finish was even more streamlined and professional than ever with excellent communication from Penfolds.
Through Penfolds advisor, Jose, we specially requested to have the same installation crew as the first time. Our request was granted and we were very fortunate to have Stuart and his crew to install our metal roof again. Stuart is a qualified European metalsmith and is an outstanding craftsman who not only considers the technical requirements of the job, but also the aesthetic look of the end result. He demonstrates fine leadership and mentorship with his crew. Stuart and his team always started promptly every day, aiming to complete the job in a timely manner while always being cognizant of safety. Even though Stuart and his crew had their own high standards and pride of workmanship, Penfolds take it on themselves to have a final inspection of the roof before issuing the lifetime warranty.
The result is an outstanding roof that has transformed the look of our property by giving it a slick modern look. Penfolds have also provided our property with second to none protection against the harsh wet BC climate - thank you again Penfolds for an amazing job!

Contacted Penfolds because of their reputation to fix a leak on a flat roof. Was a busy time of year and they committed to coming out, but failed to show, and didn't bother to call and let me know. In the end, they were able to fix the problem, but expect better customer service from this company.

We selected Penfolds this Summer for our re-roofing project because of several considerations - the professionalism shown in our initial inquiries, including a clear outline and explanation of pricing, an assurance of a 'quality' tradesman team & 'end of job' clean up & satisfaction, and Penfolds' ability to meet a relatively short time frame for the project. Plus, Penfolds was able to include in the job (and pretty much the same schedule) a replacement/updating for our two skylights in the kitchen area! Throughout, a big factor was the good assistance by Jose in our deliberations on shingle types & related issues, his availability for any questions we had, and his following up promptly at end of the roofing to check on our questions & concerns if any. At the end of the job - done on time! - a few items of minor concern were readily dealt with, per the quality assurance we'd received from Jose at the outset. So, all in all, we had a very positive experience with Penfolds and would certainly consider them again for roofing matters.

We had our roof changed from shingles to metal. We received a few quotes from other roofing companies and the costs were similar. We chose Penfolds due to their warranty on the roof and being an established company for many decades. In addition, Chris McCready, who was the contact person was fantastic. He was very professional, accountable, reliable and answered all our questions thoroughly. He never pressured us or said anything negative about other roofing companies in order to get our business. The roof was replaced in 4 days and the clean up was great. After the roof was done Chris met with us for a follow up to ensure we were happy with the new roof. I highly recommend contacting Chris and Penfolds to have your roof replaced or repaired if needed.

We had the misfortune of having a tree fall on our roof during a wind storm this past fall. We dealt with many companies – insurance, restoration, contractors and workers – to get the damage fixed and I can say none was more professional than Penfolds. Our previous roof shingles were no longer available and we were provided a letter for the insurance company stating this. It enabled us to confirm very quickly that we needed an entire roof, not just a simple fix as earlier suggested by the insurance adjustor. Jason was great at telling us what our options were, working around the tradespeople that had some repairs to do first and being at the house exactly when he said he would be each time an appointment was set. The crew that John/Robert had was on-time and worked very hard to get the roof done prior to the oncoming rain and the work site was left very clean afterwards – including hosing down our deck. We appreciated the calm that it restored back into our home after a stressful time. I would highly recommend Penfolds, and do. Thank you for helping put our house back together. It looks great!
