He is knowledgeable, factual and has exceptional communication skills. Calls were promptly answered, and whatever was asked was done both quickly and very professionally. Indeed, he is a great ambassador for Penfolds. The two supervisors who came to the site prior to starting the job spotted three (3) critical things that ought to have been included in the quote: two drains to be added to the existing drains (thereby relying less on the "crickets"), multiple roof vents to be added to the roofs for ventilation (there were none!) and the entire sloping roof leading to the firewall needed new shingles (rather than a combination of old and new shingles on the sloping roof). They were excellent suggestions to which I totally agreed as they were all "no-brainers". Your work crew were exemplary in every way. Indeed, I was awed by the "choreography" of how well so many workmen could work so well together without being in each other's way. They worked well as a team and I did not have one complaint from any of our 30 strata members over the 5-6 weeks they were on the roof. Concerns were addressed without hesitation, and there was never any question about a timely manner in addressing them. If asked for a recommendation to others, I would offer my total positive response that your company is thoroughly professional and committed to customer satisfaction. The quality of workmanship from the corporate office through to the workmen was indeed exempary. We have an excellent roof that is guaranteed for the next twenty (20) years. Michael a technical advisor for Penfolds was so helpful and personable when called to give us a quote on a new roof and gutters. He is truly a kind, considerate and extremley decent person. He along with his crews went to great lengths to ensure the work was done on time, on budget and to the highest quality! Communication was way above par as any and all questions and concerns wer answered and dealt with quickly and clearly.

Michael truly went far above and beyond and should be commended for this. When discussing the quote he provided us we mentioned that the actuall start of the job needed to be delayed a few months as our young dog had just passed away from cancer and we had very large vet bills that we had to pay first. We asked him to also quote us the cost of just patching a few leaks in the roof to hold us over the winter time. Michael was very sympathetic as he too had suffered the loss of a pet and proceeded to spend a couple of hours himself on our roof patching the leaks for no charge even before we had made any commitment to him or Penfolds for the roof replacement. Also, when asked during the job if we could delay the gutter install by a week to allow us to better organize our finances, he did not hesitate and re organized the work scedule and finaly payment schedul, which was a huge help and truly appreciate.

Penfolds is one of the really good comapnies out there that provide top quality work at a reasonable price and come in on time and on budget. One of the big reasons for thier success we feel is having employees like Michael and he is and huge asset to Penfolds.

The Penfolds team was very professional and efficient. My roof was complete and looking great in only two days! I have already recommended Penfolds to my friends and neighbours and I would not hesitate to recommend Penfolds to anyone who needed a new roof.

When a heavy windstorm tore holes in our well-worn roof tiling, our household insurance covered the interior damage; but it was painfully obvious we would need to replace the entire roof. We noticed the damage on the weekend, and phoned about half a dozen companies before we found one, Penfolds, that was willing or able to come to our house and tarp the damaged areas in a timely manner; and while arranging financing, they even returned to tarp a second time when a new area of leakage was noticed
When it came time to prepare an estimate we were impressed with their professionalism; even upon a visual check they recommended adding an additional downpipe where we had, in fact, been experiencing a chronic sediment build-up problem (from the deteriorating tiling).
When it came time to do the job, they co-ordinated with us to clear our driveway to bring in a rubbish container, and started the job the following day; telling us it would be a 2-3 day project.
The construction crew were courteous and worked in a well co-ordinated manner. When it was discovered that there was some rotted plywood roofing panels and gable facing, which they recommended replacing, they got a carpenter in right right away to replace these items while the roofing crew worked around him; resulting in the project being completed on time (3 days).
The finished job looks great, and even the new gable facing is unnoticeable.
While the crew cleaned up the yard of all the scrap materials, they even sent a man around the following day to recheck that all the work was finished properly, and scour the yard to make sure no scrap materials had been missed.
All-in-all we couldn't be happier with their professional approach to the project and their quality construction; a definite 10 out of 10.

We needed a new roof. After sending out a few online requests for estimates. Micheal Schoeman from Penfolds roofing responed very quickly. He came to our house climbed on to the roof prepared a estimated and then later meet me at my house at my earliest convenience. He explained the estimated and what work needed to done and provided opposition . I was very happy with the estimated and warranty decided to go with Penfolds. When the work came to do the job the were very professional. They covered our shrubs and plants and the deck in back to protect it. When they finished we were very happy with the finished product and the clean up was amazing. I would highly recommend Michael and Penfolds roofing.

Just wanted to tell you that it was a pleasure doing business with you. I had the utmost confidence in you and you and your company did not disappoint. I thought it would be a complicated and difficult job but it was quick and efficient and I was kept informed of every step. I made a very good decision at the PNE in 2015 when I stopped at the Penfold's booth.
