drainworks is first class company,they were very courtious and professional,,jeremy was the tech that came to the house,,he explained everything that he was going to do ,and cost ,,got the job done,,clean no mess left,,would definetly recommend drainworks,,,

They were able to get in quickyly and were very professional to deal with. The person working too his time and did very detailed work. Before starting he explained to me what he was going to be doing,and recommeded what I should be doing to prevent similar problems in the future.

Jeremy Harris/Drainworks responded very quickly to my call to come and check my basement drains that I was worried were on the verge of backing up.
they came earlier than promised and quickly determined what the cause of my drain problem was...and it was easily resolved on the spot.
Jeremy also looked at our other basement drains and the outside main feed - to fully assess the situation and give us advice on some possible proactive measures we may want to take.

We met with Mike from Drainworks two days ago regarding a clogged drain. Mike quickly assessed the situation and determined that it was likely an issue with the P trap that was put in when the house was built, nearly 100 years ago. This had been a recurring issue for us.

He presented our options without any pressure, and suggested that we remove the trap. We agreed, and the crew arrived yesterday (the next day!) to get the work done. They were quick and neat, and arranged everything properly: gas line location, city inspector. It was all done in a few hours. Mike's assessment was correct and we will likely be able to get a city rebate due to the tree roots.

When the crew dug out the trap, they had to take out a section of garden wall I put in a couple of years ago. It was not their responsibility to put it back, but they did anyway and left everything neat and looking good. They even made sure that the cleanouts would be in our garden rather than the middle of our walkway. All in all, we were very impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail. Plus, they were much cheaper than other quotes we received. At the end of the job, they ran cameras through our entire plumbing system including right up to toilets to make sure that everything looked great.

drainworks was excellent, fast to respond and clean! mike dunn did a great job explaining the problems and what needed to be done. it was done fast and very clean and it was a messy job! we are thinking of getting some other water control projects done in the future and will be calling drainworks again.

Ok, so here's a bit of history to put this review into context. We found DrainWorks about two years ago on Homestars and used them to clear our clogged stand-up shower drain in our ensuite. At that time, we were serviced by Matt, who assessed the situation, quoted us upfront and walked us through the entire job, step by step. Our home was a new build, so the issue was primarily collateral debris that was left in the drain from the builder. Matt's professionalism was exceptional in that he took the time to educate us on the way the drain and pipes worked and the factors that would lead up to this type of blockage in a new home. He even taught us about the type of snake he was using and how it worked. He was polite and earnest, he listened to our questions and made us feel like we were important as the customer. This professionalism and the overall satisfaction we had with the job done is what caused us to call them again.

Alright, so here we are two years later. The same shower drain clogged up recently, this time we suspected that something different was going on. So we got back on Homestars and looked up Drainworks. We noticed how many exceptional reviews they had received in the past two years since we used them and that the company really seemed to be thriving -- not surprising based on the level of customer service they had provided us. We were thrilled when told that Matt was still with the company and that he would be servicing us again. DrainWorks quoted us a price range based on the information we gave them on the phone and reminded us that the final cost would depend on Matt's assessment of the problem.

Well, we're happy to say that once again we were impressed with Matt and DrainWorks. He knew what was going on right away, explained his assessment and quoted us a price in the low end of the quote we were given on the phone. He then walked us through the job as he cleared the drain, explaining what was happening every step of the way. Then, he gave us a few suggestions on preventative measures so that we could potentially avoid the situation in the future. Because the job ended sooner than expected, my husband casually asked Matt about a toilet issue that we are having, just to get his opinion. We did not expect to get such a thorough explanation of the problem. Matt even gave us options for fixing the problem, one of which included my husband attempting to do it on his own -- Not gonna happen! He also suggested using a different division of DrainWorks that specializes in this type of work.

Everything about this company is very professional, from their web site (I found them online), to the courteous and knowledgeable phone staff, and the technician that came to our house. Our sewer was severely clogged and the technician J. Harris went above and beyond to inspect as much as he could reach from different angles. This company took the time to talk to me as a homeowner, not just a customer with money.

We had a wonderful experience with the helpful staff at DrainWorks. From John Paul at dispatch to Lou and Eric who serviced the issue...everyone was polite, dependable and fast. This company is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them as well as call them again myself. I particularly love the fact that they call 1/2 before arriving so that you don't have to be captive in your own home waiting for help to arrive.

I called Drainworks when the problem appeared and a technician came (both times) within a short time. They only stayed at the house for an hour and cleared the drain. They also offered very helpful advice. Another thing that impressed me was that they covered their boots with "boot covers". Very considerate.
