Couches, bedroom set tv and stereo

Upon purchasing a power recliner, power love seat, New 55" TV with sound bar and extra speakers, as well as a full bedroom set. we had kindly asked at the customer service counter would the brick move out old love seat to the garage upon delivery of our new furniture.. The answer was: "without a doubt"...... great! Or so we thought..
After having th bedroom set delivered, we learnt the guys delivering it were supposed to assemble it (this did not happen, I assembled it). But they were however kind enough to scratch, dent and mark up my Allah through out the house while bringing it to the room. And this isn't even the worst!!
The couches which we had to wait a week and half finally came, I greeted the employee at the door and asked him if we could move the love seat (as promised by the store) to get the others in (I'd help lift... his answer "I'm not doing that"... I simply asked how come the store told me you would? He said "dunno" and stood there with his muddy shoes on in my living room.. I said ok no problem but I will need to contact the store to see what to do now because
I can't lift this myself... he stood there crating an extremely hostile environment when out of no where said "have a good day sir" walked out and slammed the door, he then proceeded to drive off with my couches and dresser... the brick called and said we would have to wait another week for a delivery.. so would I recommend this company , absolutely not!!! They don't care about the customer they don't when or IF you get your products.. and their customer service is by far the worst.. I haven't even been treated this bad at a fast food joint let alone a place where we just dropped $7000..... unreal!

Dinning room chairs

The brick has to have the worst service imaginable. They have no care or respect for their customers. I have been waiting for the chairs I purchased from Windsor Ontario Brick for almost 3 months. And every time they are to blame for a situation they spin it back around to blame the customer. The brick should really invest in better customer service.

Horrible customer service

This review is about a table that I purchased at The Brick located at 20 Ashtonbee Road, Scarborough, Ontario.

It was August 30th when I unwrapped the table base. I noticed there was rust marks on some of the table legs. It was around 8:30pm so I called the store immediately to explain the problem and ask for an email address where I could send a picture explaining this problem. I was given the email address and was assured that someone would get back to me the next day. Over the next few days, I followed up with 2 phone calls and 1 more email. During one phone call I was told that the emails had not been checked in a couple days because there was an event at the store but I was assured that someone would get around to it the next day. That was not the case. It was not until yesterday, September 5th, that I received a phone call back.

The customer service representative offered me a $90 credit to keep the defective table legs and I said that I did not want a damaged table. She then said that she could order replacement legs and the store would call me when they were ready for pick up. I asked for that to be expedited but was told that was not possible. I explained to the representative that I had waited a week for the courtesy of a reply and in that time not only did I have to telephone multiple times to follow up on this issue but I also had to cancel a dinner party because I did not have a table to entertain my guests with. The representative replied with “oh yeah, that sucks”.

I still have not received a call from the store notifying me that the replacement table legs have come in.

It was extremely difficult trying to find an email address to head office and I ended up having to telephone the warranties department in order to obtain contact information.

This is not acceptable customer service. Based on this awful experience, I am not sure that I will ever purchase from or recommend The Brick.

It is now a month after purchase and 2 full weeks after I unwrapped the table and still have not received a response from this store.

2 Queen Set Mattresses

Ordered a King Beauty Rest, 1 Queen set and cabinet in June. I received the King set and cabinet in July. I was not too pleased with delivery (damaged my walls) but that was the least of my problems. It is now September and I have yet to receive the Queen set. It was suppose to be delivered last Thursday (Aug 24) but this was an error and was advised it would be delivered today (Aug 31) between 3-6 pm. When the delivery was not at my residence by 6:30 pm I called The Brick who could not give a definite time for delivery. I advised the rep that if the delivery people do not arrive by 7 pm not to bother. Well, they showed up at 10 pm and advised me I had to notify the store and reschedule since I refused the delivery at that hour. I will never purchase another item at The Brick.

Big bag of lemons for The Brick in Kirkland, Quebec

A Big barrel of lemons for The Brick Kirkland
I'd like to share a very negative experience we encountered with The Brick in kirkland.
I went shopping for a King size Box Spring and bed frame last week with my husband and decided we would like one that matched out mattress which was a Sterns & Foster. Seeing as The Brick are one of the few places that seem to be exclusive for that brand (think twice before buying Sterns & Foster), we went in to purchase said items. We were served by a salesman named Nick who quickly sold us the box springs & frame and then proceeded to tell us that they were not in stock and would take a week before we could expect delivery. We went along with it, since we were still sleeping on our old bed in the meanwhile. Fast forward to Saturday August 26th (a week later) and we receive a call that the goods were going to be delivered tomorrow (Sunday August 27th) between 9:40am and 12:40pm. Finally! We quickly got rid of our existing bed to make room for the new arrival and then patiently wait for delivery. At 12:40pm, the truck shows up with a queen size box spring which clearly is the wrong size. Realizing the error, the delivery men pack up the wrong box spring and tell us we have to contact the store. They depart and leave the bed frame behind.
We get into our car and go to The Brick to see what they can do (as there motto on their invoices is "it is our commitment to serve you, our customer ). We line up at customer service and explain the dilemma to the woman at the counter (Andrea). She tells us that we won't see another delivery until next Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. We explain to her that we already have been waiting for a week for this box spring and that my wife and I who are both in our fifties no longer have a bed to sleep on since we discarded of the one to make room for the new one. She was apathetic about our situation (in fact seemed like she couldn't care less) but said she would speak to the manager to see if they could do anything. She returned to say that if we would take something they had in store they would get it to us. We reluctantly accepted to take a box spring that would not match our mattress and then she says "Okay ... delivery will be Tuesday or Wednesday). What?? I exclaimed, you are offering me the same delivery date that you did in the first place but now you want me to take something that you have in the store instead of what I ordered? I told her to never mind everything and just refund my money to my credit card. She replies "I'm sorry I can't refund you until tomorrow because the invoice is not available at the moment". I tell her that tomorrow is fine, but just to be clear you are refunding the entire total; correct? She tells me that if I keep the bed frame then they will still charge the delivery fee. What?, the bed frame easily fits in car and needn't be delivered I explain to her. She tells me that I need to bring it back if I want the delivery fee refunded. So guess what, another trip home and then back to The Brick for me. I arrive back and get this, she then informs me that I shouldn't have brought it back and they are not responsible if it gets lost in the store.
So, 3 trips to The Brick and nothing to show for it. In fact, as I write this they are still holding both my money and the goods. If I don't get credited tomorrow, I will call my bank and dispute the charges of course, but still a hassle nonetheless.
Through all of this, the manager never came out even out once to see if he could help us. Despite the fact that this was completely there error and we are just the innocent victims, there were no apologies from anyone at anytime for anything.
So all this to say we had a very negative experience there and so a very big bag of lemons to The Brick (although I don't know if they are all as mismanaged as the Kirkland location)

Whirlpool range

I ordered the range online on July 4th and the delivery date was July 21st but when I called them on July 20th to inquire about the delivery, they told me that it would not arrive until Aug 3rd. I called them again before the next delivery date and they told me it wouldn't arrive until Aug 21st. The delivery date keeps changing and I still am without a range after 1.5 months of waiting. I would not have purchased it if it was going to take this long. The brick website falsely advertise the delivery date of items sold and they charged my credit card on July 4th instead of the item being shipped. I will not be buying anything from them again.

Poor service

I am writing today to complain about the poor service I received from The Brick .I bought a York Dale Storage Bed of that Company. This item was delivered to me on 2/08/2017 for the first time. However, I discovered it damaged and scratched. As a result, I sent some pictures of those problems and rescheduled for a new one for 6 -08-2017 , but the new one was again damaged. This was second time that company shiped a damaged product to me.

Unfortunately, it seems the product that they advertise and show in their store are not reliable, and they are not delivered them as same quality to customers.
then I dicided to refund my order after over one week they sent my a pick up man and they want pick up just 3 pice of 5 pice it's so creazy
My impression of The Break Company has been tarnished, and we are frustrated of this situation.
Althought I trusted your company, it is not the way yout company values the customers.

Appliance Purchase

Purchased Washer / Dryer / Fridge / Dishwasher. Paid the BRICK for 3 year extended Warranty. Whirlpool dishwasher does not work properly, we have to hand dry dishes and they also come out spotted. We have called, and called and called for assistance. The Brick Third Parties to a company called King & State in the Bahamas no less, who then contract Whirlpool. The Brick blames King & State, King & State blames Whirlpool, Whirlpool blames King & State, and it just goes around and around and around in circles. The Brick takes your money, and then you get NO SERVICE !!!!! Beware of paying for service and getting nothing on Brick extended warranties.

Broken furniture, poor service, constant hassle

I ordered a 6 piece bedroom set from the Brick and then the hassles began. The bed, which I was assured would be very easy to assemble, was nearly impossible to put together. It managed to stump a licensed tradesman who used to assemble office furniture as a side job. Directions were not clear and the Brick won't help you at all unless you pay $180 for a technician. I was then delivered a damaged dresser three separate times in a row – visible damage to the frame, drawers bashed in, etc. Finally, upon my insisting that something happen to avoid another damaged dresser coming to my house, they delivered to the store to be inspected first. This dresser also had some minor damage. We ended up taking drawers from one dresser and putting them in another to make one complete dresser. Finally at this point, they offered me a discount of 50%. Gee, ya think?! I had to follow up 3 TIMES to actually GET the discount, mind you. During this entire nightmare that lasted about two months, I was following up repeatedly with the store which I found really frustrating. Isn’t it the sales guy’s job to complete an order to the customer’s satisfaction? I earned his commission more than he did I think. I also remember getting some serious attitude from a customer service person over the phone. I complained about having to be off work for all these deliveries and I was told “they never force anyone to take time off work”. So, of course it’s all my fault, right? Silly me! They never seem to take responsibility for much at the Brick. At least the store manager was really good about things when I went in in person. The quality of the furniture I bought isn’t the greatest, but it was from their “Buyer’s best” line, which I think is bargain furniture. Although for the amount I spent, I would expect quality – it wasn’t that cheap. I hope I will not have to deal with the Brick again over warranty issues. This whole experience left such a bad taste in my mouth and caused me so much aggravation, I know I’ll never buy another thing from the Brick again. When there’s that many issues with an order, you think they’d be going out of their way to make things right, but you have to keep on them for anything to be done. It was exhausting. I wouldn’t recommend the Brick, but if you do buy there and have issues, go right to the store manager. I think many of their sales and customer service people could care less and they’ll only aggravate you more.

Appliances

Ignoring issues with all other appliances, we bought a microwave with a trim kit. They sent a trim kit that was short a few screws. Arranged an exchange, they sent another box after several days. (Note that both these boxes have been clearly opened before arriving). The new box had even fewer parts than the original.
Called the brick who kept trying to slide responsibility to others without even checking the actual brand of our microwave or looking up our actual information. Still waiting for them to call us back. No ETA given, no news, nothing.
