Ironcrest Bonded Leather Sofa Set

We bought a 3 piece power reclining sofa set (Ironcrest Bonded Leather Power Reclining SKU 906478) at Bad Boy in London. After 5 days of use, the power reclining sofa stopped working. I called Bad Boy Service Department and their first question was: Did you purchase Extended Warranty? I did purchase the warranty but why is that even a factor on something only 5 days old. So the call to the service department was on Saturday and I was told that a technician would call me back. After not hearing from the technician by Tuesday, I called again and the service department told me that the technician would be coming. The technician finally called me on Wednesday and said he would be coming on Saturday. YES, 1 week after I reported the new furniture was broken before a technician would show up. I called the service department and told them that this was totally unacceptable and they did nothing.
Given that the sofa was only 5 days old, I think tis clearly indicates that the item is of poor quality and should have been replaced. VERY POOR Customer service.
I will not buy anything from this store again nor will I recommend it to anyone else. They certainly don't tell you when you buy there and gladly take your money for extended warranty that you will need to wait a week for a technician if you need repairs. AGAIN VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I gave a rating of 0 because that is the lowest that I can choose but even 0 is too high of a rating for this place.

Bob has served us well with our mattress. He was behaving very professionally and he provided us with all the necessary information about the products we were looking into. He was also very informative when we had questions. Thanks.

Refrigerator, Cooking Appliance, Range cooker

I'd give this place a 0 if possible, originally saw a fridge in store for reduced price they said it was updated in system to original price so didn't want to honour it

purchased two appliances almost $2000k, the fridge arrived and was not working called and our GREAT sales Incomparable to NOOOOBODY Mohammed said it's not included in warranty go out and buy an LED. We spoke of our anger at this service and he said go ahead. The boss was also shady when we tried to get a price match he was so rude about it just as long as he get his cut he is happy right? Seriously a crap product broken on arrival and you ask a customer to go spend MORE money out of pocket. The manufacturer took a week to come by after it was delivered to repair the lighting and wasn't even prepared did some tests and we had to wait MORE. Perfect example once you pay your own your own..

Our 2nd product they called and said it'd be here on a weekday NOON. We called back 4pm and they played the 'who told you' game. We don't deliver blah blah...

WILL NEVER BE BACK. Oh by the way, the warranty where you get 1/2 of it off is a rebate so you can buy MORE products and experience the blame game between 3rd party and manufacturer who suffers. Not them. Nope.

Bedroom

DO NOT EVER SHOP AT BAD BOY!

Once you sign the purchase agreement, you can NEVER EVER get your money back!

My wife and I purchased a bunk bed for our daughters on a Thursday (Aug 21) around noon. We were told the bed would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. The next day while at Costco we happened to find a bunk bed that suited us better and coincidently was less expensive. I went straight to the Whitby Bad Boy store to cancel the order and was told there were absolutely no refunds, only store credits. I advised them that I had been a customer in the past and hoped to continue to be one but would unlikely return if they would not do a simple refund. I explained the bed surely was not ordered and enroute to the store yet as it was not even 24 house since I ordered it. Brian, the manager advised he had no authority to give refunds but would ask "head office" and get back to me Monday. We continued a conversation and he asked where I worked. I told he and he advised me that he could now offer me the $800 bunk bed for $575 as opposed to the $680 I paid! I thanked him and advised I preferred my money refunded. Monday he was sick. Tuesday he was sick. I ended up speaking with a Debora in head office and told her my situation. She advised me that the store manager had the discretion to refund my money. She said that head office did not "deal with these issues".

I then spoke with "Joe" the Manager on duty in Whitby. I advised him I was less then impressed I was told incorrect information and simply wanted my money refunded. He advised he HAD TO SPEAK TO HIS HEAD OFFICE!

Sure enough, after several conversations, he advised he had heard back from "Yohan" from head office and I would not be given a refund. Giving up, I then just asked for the previous managers price reduction offer to be granted..... He said he HAD TO CONTACT HEAD OFFICE!

DO NOT SHOP AT BAD BOY! If you do, you are signing a deal with the devil. Once you sign, you are screwed! Buy from Costco or Sears. They both have great customer service and you can cancel orders, return products etc with nooooooo problems!

Bad Boy made a few hundred dollars from me this time but will lose tens of thousands between me and all the friends / family I tell not to shop there!

Custom Sofa

Who gets great customers service from Bad Boys NOOOO BODY!!!! We purchased a custom upholstered couch, loveseat, and chair from Bad Boys Barrie in early May. The couch set was delivered and left in the plastic wrap. After the delivery driver left I proceeded to unwrap the set and was dismayed to see it was the right fabric but, the wrong style of couch. I quickly called to have the delivery driver turn around and take the incorrect set back. They told me "too bad you'll have to wait a week for them to pick it back up and, sort out the issue". The sales person at the store tried to blame me for the mix up stating, "I should have read over the sales contract". I told her I clearly pointed out the set I wanted and, had a witness who was there when I placed the order. The sales lady said, "I will have to sort out if head office to see if they will even the correct the mistake. The contract did say final sale". It's absurd they would expect the customers to know the SKU # of their products and the name of the couch sets. It took three weeks for the Barrie store to acknowledge that the wrong sofa set would even be replaced. All the while, I had 3 plastic wrapped pieces in the middle of my living room. I was told if they were damaged I would be expected to pay for them as well. Finally months later we got the right set. I received no apology and was treated very disrespectfully. We were told we would be compensated with a gift certificate from the company for the terrible customer service and, of course have received nothing. Worst customer service ever. I am a nurse and my husband is a teacher and, word of mouth goes a long way. I will never purchase anything from this company again.

service

My washer machine has been broken for over 28 weeks. I am told by the repair man it is cost more to fix it then a new one. I have the gold warranty plan. But now i can't get any answer from the service department on what there next step is. Never buy anything from bad boys you will be sorry when it breaks. I never will again and have told a lot of people not to go to the bad boys in Kitchener

Buying furniture is not supposed to make you cry, ut here I am again, and I don't know how many times I have had this response since I started this insane and frustrating process. I bought 2 hydraulic storage beds at the beginning of July. I was told they would be delivered in3 weeks. Parts of them were. I have entered so. Uch time can,king head office, furniture technicians and the, ondon sgofe, I have lost track. Delivery dates are fiction, and at the end of August, I am still waiting, and sleeping on a couch. A technician was able to out one bed together on Friday, after 3 hours, and having to buy his own parts from a hardware store. I was PROMISED delivery of the fest if the parts on Monday. They never came, and then I called, and was told, for sure on Thursday. Here it is, and I am still begging for help today. I could not be more disappointed. Of course I will tell my friends and family to avoid these people!
