Northwood Home Inspection

"Bennie" was awesome. Very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. Adhered to all PPE and Covid restrictions. Spent time going over all details of the inspection and communicated clearly any "yellow or red" flags. His suggested remedies showed his wealth of knowledge and he was able to answer all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Benni was very thorough with his inspections following the protocols in place with the current CoViD-19 situation. He knows his stuff and he was able to answer all our questions sensibly. All that we discussed after his inspection were also in the written report that we received same day, hence we were able to make informed decision. Highly recommended!

After buying my first house I was so happy to have an inspection in words that I could understand . I was given what I needed to do to fix and what was just basic maitinace. With the extra guarantee I know I can call free if I have questions or problems.

Beni was invited by my realtor to do an inspection to the home I wanted to buy. After completing the inspection he asked for more money than what he had initially agreed with my realtor. Then later that day when I received the report and reviewed that I noticed that he had not completed several things including inspection of the crawl space and location of the main shut off valve. I contacted him to ask the reason and he said it was "difficult" to go to the crawl space. I requested that he comes back and completes the task. After many weeks of either not responding to my calls or not giving me any time for completing the inspection I got frustrated and told the story to my realtor. We again asked Beni to come and he did'nt. My realtor was kind enough to send another inspector to go to the crawl space and find the main water shut of valve. The guy came and did that within a few minutes with no problem and no complain (in fact he said the crawl space is a very normal one and was surprised why the original inspector didn't bother to go in). Later I also found several other issues with the house that Beni had not detected in his inspection report. Overall I am very disappointed with the service and I would not recommend this company at all.

Beni was the home inspector we used. He was professional, arrived on time. He was efficient and thorough, explaining his findings as we went through the unit we were purchasing.

When we were purchasing our first home, we hired Beni from Northwood to complete the inspection. He spent a good three hours checking the property and structure. My husband accompanied him during the inspection, and Beni took the time to explain things that needed upgrading as he worked. Because Beni made such a thorough inspection and because he took the time to go over everything with us, we felt reassured that this was the house for us.

As well, at the end of the inspection, Beni gave us a binder detailing every aspect of the inspection. We have found this very useful for maintaining and upgrading our property.
