The A Team Appliance Repair

Stay away from this company. Just go on reddit and you will find many, many negative reviews. Technician came and told me I needed a new main board heating system for my dryer. That was on August 10. Company told me that the part was on backorder from Samsung. I contacted Samsung and they told me the part was actually discontinued. It is now a month later and the only information I can get from The A Team is from a call center who tell me that the part is still on back order.
I contacted a more reputable company who came and told me the only problem with my dryer was that it had been set to an eco -setting which meant it dried using only air no heat. For $100, he diagnosed it and fixed it.
The A Team make you sign a contract that commits you to a 15% restocking fee and a 30.00 cancellation fee, even if they haven't gotten the parts. This a big rip off - STAY AWAY!

Ignore this companys website reviews! We had a technician come to the house for our freezer which was not defrosting properly and leaking water on the floor. He said we needed the defrost thermostat & the defrost heater assembly replaced at additional cost of $466. We had to pay $290 + tax for this INCORRECT diagnosis. We had proper repair person come in for a free diagnosis in which he determined it was the drain assembly at fault & replaced it. Mind you we had to pay for the part & installation but this gentleman was honest & explained everything that had to be done and how the service was being performed. Once again STAY AWAY from the A Team Appliance Repair!

Our fridge stopped working on a Saturday and Appliance Repair came up. They responded to our inquiry right away. They came out on Sunday to look at it and provide a quote. The technician damaged our floors when pulling out the fridge. The quoted $900 for a part and didnt provide a part number. They came back almost 2 weeks later to replace the part. Once we saw the box and could look up the part number we saw that the part was available through another retailer for $233. They grossly overcharged for the part. And now we have a damaged floor. Disgusting that they get away with overcharging like this. I would not recommend calling them. They are not trustworthy.
