Do not waste your time or money on this company!! See reviews!! 5-star reviews do not make sense!! asked for a diagnosis and cost to repair my stove and was told it would be $80.00. When the tech came in he raised the price to $290.00 plus tax without even looking at the stove, then he said that he would let me know the price for the parts afterward and said it could be anywhere from $50-$600 or more. I stated that I was told I would receive a quote for the $80.00 but he said it did not work that way. I told him to get out and I would not be letting him touch my stove as I did not think he was legit. Called customer service ( Maria) after the tech left and was told I had to pay the $80.00 just for him to show up. Lucky for me I only got taken for $80.00 but they must be making quite a bit of money without any repairs being completed.

I cannot believe this company is allowed to continue to exist!
From the initial visit to our home until the final (third) visit, total incompetence was on full display.
Visit 1 - $80 service call fee became $290 without warning. Cursory examination of dishwasher produced diagnosis of drainage pump assembly needing replacement. We were charged $466 for an $80 part (as I learned later) and asked to pay up front BY DEBIT (red flag??). Asked to sign multiple times (another red flag).
Should have cancelled at this point - naively didn't.
Visit 2 - technician shows up with replacement part. He has no clue about how to install it - says he needs assistance.
Visit 3 - after 2 weeks, technician from preceding visit appears with helper (skilled technician?). The two of them proceed to install new part but leave dishwasher inoperable with no power on - claim an issue with circuit breaker or control board. This was total nonsense since the dishwasher had been used the day before with no electrical issues. Technicians leave with no functioning dishwasher - totally broken!
A subsequent call to A-team "headquarters" to complain resulted in a promise to discuss the issue and get back to us. So far, NO REPLY.
We have complained to Ontario Government Business review site. Hoping for drastic action and demand for full refund from these vandals.

Bottom line - total exploitation to the tune of $850.
Should have read ALL the reviews before hand. Many are like this one!!!

Avoid, avoid. First guy shows up in an unmarked vehicle and had no sign of being a service person. Wary from the start. Did a factory reset on my washer because the lid had locked. Told me that it should be fine in 12 hours! Another red flag. He said worst case scenario is that it would need a new motherboard. Well unsurprisingly, it did not work in 12 hours and the invoice states in the notes needs new motherboard. So the $327 reset visit was a joke and he knew it actually needed a new motherboard. This would be at a price exceeding yesterdays bill. I called and she said its all legit and another service call and fix would be additional price. Will be letting BBB know about this operation.

Dont waste your time and money, they take your money and run
At the end, I spent $600 and still left with my broken dryer. The company is unprofessional and customer service is rude. I called back concerning my broker appliance that wasnt fix and they hang up the phone twice on me.
Take my advice, go and buy a new appliance and dont waste your time with this company.

Called this company to fix an issue with cool water dispenser of my fridge. Valve needed to changed and was replaced. When looked up the cost of the valve, it was only $175 but they charged me $395 !! When asked CSR about the over charge, they challenged be and were unfriendly.
Never use their services.

$80 to secure an appointment, and nothing, absolutely nothing, is included with that cost. The 'technician', and I use that term loosely, said he could open the machine up and continue for $300. Problem could be fixed if 2 parts were ordered for an additional cost of $500. And these 2 parts didn't solve the problem, they actually made the problem worse. The washing machine could be forced into a spin cycle before, but this option was no longer available after this person tinkered with the machine. We were told that another part might fix the issue for $500 more, but a fix could not be guaranteed. Key word here is MIGHT.
Luckily we stopped the MADNESS here.

I recently encountered a problem with my dishwasher, as there was standing water at the bottom, which prompted me to contact "The A Team Appliances Repair." Their door charge of $80 seemed reasonable at the outset. The technician arrived and confidently claimed he could fix the issue for $333, tax included, estimating a 30-minute job.

However, within just 5 minutes, he diagnosed the problem as plumbing-related, linked to an obstruction in the drainage path to the P-trap, not an issue with the dishwasher itself. To my dismay, he left without attempting a repair or offering a refund for the misdiagnosis.
When I reached out to their customer service for a refund, I encountered an appalling attitude and was unjustly denied any form of compensation. They insisted the problem was fixed when, in fact, only a diagnosis was made, and the initial problem remained unsolved. This experience was both frustrating and costly, and I would caution potential customers to consider other, more reliable repair services.

My experience with this company was a complete disaster. They claimed to be experts, but their incompetence was evident from the start. They misdiagnosed the issue, performed unnecessary repairs, and charged a hefty fee. Their customer service was terrible, with no professionalism or punctuality. To top it off, their "fix" lasted less than a week. This company is a disgraceful outfit that preys on customers. Avoid them at all costs; they are nothing but dishonest.

Called these guys last weekend whn our dryer quit. They told me $80 to have a technician come out and take a look. Technician arrived Early Sunday and diagnosed a blown fuse. Now the bill is $290? But wait, turn the dryer on and now the fuse blows again. ( not surprised because something causes the fuse to blow, right?). So now the heater element is shorting and must be replaced. The heater element is another $165 but oddly he doesn't add any more labour because he's already charged me $290 to change a fuse. Tech comes back Monday afternoon with a new heater element, replaces it, takes the balance of his money and leaves. Thursday when my wife started laundry she fired up the dryer and after running for about 15 seconds it shut down again. Call the Appliance Team back and guess what? Now it's a warranty issue and has to be ' investigated '... seriously? We've called 4 times now and and the file is locked and they can't do anything until the warranty department unlocks the file. I like so many wish that I had read all the reviews first but it was the weekend and we were half way through our laundry. Website looked legit, they were very responsive on the phone so all seemed good. Keep looking, don't use these guys. Never mind the customer service issues, they still haven't diagnosed the problem. God help them if the do show up and are looking for more money!

the tech was here for 15 minutes & I paid $ 861.45 (invoice #153640) which is highway theft . They are not what they seem!
