Got a non functioning Whirlpool, Tony convinced me to replace it with a refurbished Kenmore, said it was being fixed in good working condition and offered warranty. However, not working 6 days after installation, he came and changed coil and thermostat. 3 months later no heat again called but needed to wait 2 weeks for a response then said will charge another $80 diagnostic which can be deducted from total amount of fix. I end up paying way more for a fix than a brand new dryer. Be mindful. Very unhappy client!

Received a phone call from Tony immediately after using the homestars website. He introduced himself, asked exactly what kind of repair I needed then explained about the job itself. He inspected the dryer and showed me what parts needed to be replaced and the cost on his cellphone on a website. Repaired the dryer, works perfectly as I had no heat and was making loud noises. He also vacuumed the lintel inside the dryer itself and cleaned up work area. Very professional and polite work ethic. Would definitely recommend to others and in future.

I did not expect my washing machine to be repairable and I was correct. The main issue was the electronics and, as the machine was over 10 years old, I didn't expect the replacement components would be available. Tony spent at least 1/2 hour on the telephone trying to locate the part, but even the manufacturer had nothing. Tony sold me a refurbished washing machine that was in immaculate condition. He and his helper drove through a snowstorm on the 401 to deliver my machine. They installed it and took the time to explain all the functions. They even removed my broken chest freezer! And they swept the floor and cleaned up extremely well. I was very impressed with Tony's friendliness and his professionalism.

My dryer broke on Sunday, Tony got in touch with me the next day, and was able to fit me in for Tuesday. I had given him the model number so he came with a few parts he might need and was able to repair in a little over an hour. Really appreciated his no-nonsense approach, and quick service.

Tony didn’t let us down! He is a man of his word and really good at what he does. His work is clean and finished the job in no time.

Tony was the first to respond to my request for help with an LG dishwasher that would turn on for a few minutes and then shut off.
We found out only after we bought it just how tricky and expensive this brand can be to repair - so we put this request out for offers.

As it turned out the problems with the dishwasher were more extensive than that one issue -- which I mysteriously did not occur on the repair visit. Tony discovered a broken door seal and another, looping issue that indicated a problem with the unit's control board.

He priced out the parts needed for the repair -- unfortunately higher in price than what we had paid for the unit then suggested good brands (based on his experience as a technician) for what was now a necessary replacement.

He quoted what we discovered to be an excellent price for delivery and install of the new dishwasher once we got it.

I very much appreciated Tony's friendly, professional manner and the clear way in which he explained how a dishwasher works and the diagnostic steps he was taking. Definitely, a technician/service provider that I would recommend to anyone needing appliance repair or HVAC services (in discussion with him I discovered that this is a component of his business, as well).

We will be calling him back once our new dishwasher arrives at Lowes for delivery and install and also will look to engage him for an assessment of our central air unit and other further work.

We have a Kitchenaid electric wall oven that Tony repaired. The burner needed to be replace but wall ovens have the burner buried deep inside the unit which means you have to take the thing apart. It was clear that Tony knew what he was doing - the quality of the repair was high and he was a pleasure to deal with. I higher recommend this company.

Tony responded to my request for service within a few minutes. He came out the first day that I was available and had my dryer fixed within 24 hours once he got the appropriate part. Tony is very professional and has high standards of workmanship. He also excels at customer service which is so important in any line of work. Very prompt service, but could be more thorough.

They were able to come in within 24 hrs to diagnose the problem. He spent a few minutes with my washing machine (3 years old Whirlpool) and diagnosed that the motor was gone and would have to be replaced. He suggested motor replacement would be around $500 and recommended purchasing another one.

I called up a friend and explained what Tony said. He spent 15 minutes online and said he knows what the problem is and would order the part. Came over in a few days with a motor part (carbon brush) and replaced it in 30 minutes. The machine works fine now.

The company is good for simple fixes, but don't recommend for all repairs. They were the lowest with their service call charge so I guess you get what you paid for. They'll push you to buy a new/refurbished machine through them. I recommend getting a second opinion at that point.

I posted a service request late at night/wee hours of the morning, and within minutes I had received a response from Tony. He quoted us $55 for the site visit to confirm what exactly needed to be done as I wasn't sure if it was just the dryer belt. My only suggestion is that the $55 site visit be paid as a deposit (if we hired him for the job) which is what other companies were offering, rather than charge it as an extra fee in addition to labour and the new part. We paid cash for the job.
Tony repaired our dryer on the spot quickly, and conveniently. Tony was easy to communicate with and he came when he said he would. I would hire Tony again and recommend him.
