The roof of my house is partially angled, partially flat. The eves needed replacing, my chimney was falling apart, and we had no air circulation in the attic. This required a lot of work, and CRC was able to give me a cash and carry discount to bring the cost down a bit, which I appreciated.
They replaced the shingles, rotted boards, replaced the beams of my flat portion, added insulation, and put in soffits to allow proper air circulation in the attic (at my request). They also replaced the eves, capped my chimney, and even fixed a second chimney that the previous owner had put through a load baring member.
My only criticism is that the roof ended up costing $5000 more than originally intended due issues found afterwards, which isn't the fault of the company, but it would have been nice this type of problem could happen. Also a few weeks afterwards a rep came back to my house to go over some work with the aluminum guy but didn't tell us, and we got a bit of a fright.
At the end of the day though I feel I got the Cadillac of roofs, and I have no question that it is of the highest quality, and the workmanship is first rate. When the big Toronto summer storm that flooded out the West end came, we were high and dry inside the house.
