LeafFilter Gutter Protection

I want to bring to your attention the disgraceful service I have received from LeafFilter. This company seems to prey on people they believe to be elderly and incompetent. I have never received such horrible service.
The customer service or lack thereof provided through the process is appalling. As a business owner myself, I pride myself in my customer service abilities and would never speak to a customer or allow one of my employees to speak to a customer, in the way I have been spoken to.
I feel as if LeafFilter was trying to take advantage of me, maybe believing me to be senile. I was grossly overcharged for a less than stellar service. There are more problems now that I have received a fix than there were before I ever called LeafFilter.
They has been completely unpleasant to deal with and rude. I have received no support or solution to the situation and am frankly sick and tired of the run around.
When I pay for a service, I expect to receive the quality I pay for. Given what I spent for their service, there should not be even the most minute of problems.

I would expect someone to reach out to me to solve these issues and arrange for a partial or full refund of the subpar service and product I paid for.

Marco arrived this morning (Sunday, July 7), from LeafFilter North, to re-install the LeafFilter system( I recently had a new roof installed). He arrived just after 10am and continued to work until about 4pm. He worked relentlessly and professionally in the 28C hot sun. He represents the backbone of this company. Job well done!

This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I've been a home owner for over 40 years and I know how to do most of my own work. They didn't realign a gutter that slopes the wrong way. They have come out another 4 times to re-caulk, not knowing how to do it and never removing the first layer. They even caulked the outside, downward part which will split off when it freezes in winter. They deceive me every time I call.
Only use these people for cleaning gutters. Too bad as the guard is actually good for keeping hemlock needles out.

I had leaf filter installed approximately 3 years ago. Company had to return in a year or so as during heavy rains water poured over in several areas. Deflectors were installed which seemed to correct this problem. I was not charged for this service call and I wouldnt have expected to be charged given the lifetime warranty offered by leaf filter. During a heavy rain a few weeks ago I noticed water again pouring from one area (where a deflector had been installed). I was informed that I would be paying a $95 service fee for them to come and look at it and adjust the deflector if necessary. Im very disappointed with the supposed lifetime warranty!!!

We are extremely happy with the Leaffilter installer, and feel we got the best product for keeping the eavestrough clear.
The decision to replace our eavestrough protection product, was necessary due to the growth of plants in the gutters in the previously install system, and the amount of soil found in the gutter.
The Leaffilter system is warrantied and comes with a guarantee to keep the eavestrough clear of all types of debris.
Bottom line is the Leaffilter system is well designed and promises to keep the gutters free of dirt and there will be no more plants growing in them.

I spent a lot of time doing research, reading up on other products, understanding their system etc. I called and had them come to do a quote a year ago and they spent considerable time reviewing the issues with my gutters, taking measurements etc. I walked around the yard with the sales rep while she pointed out issues, repairs etc. Very thorough. However, unless I let her in my home to give me a 30-45 min spiel on the product, they would not release pricing. I didn't know this was a requirement so I didn't actually have time as I was heading out. In the next year, I get many emails and phone calls asking me to buy their services. I call back in and request another quote and explain what happened last year and told them I didn't need or want the 'spiel' and was assured I would get a quote without the high pressure, time consuming sales pitch. The same woman comes out this weekend and I mention that I'd like the quote without the pitch and she can probably save herself time by using the info from last year as nothing has changed. She remembered me. I remembered her. She refused and claimed that she had to explain all the technology to me to justify the price - I guess so I wouldn't get sticker shock. I was promised no pitch by the customer service rep and that I would get pricing so this was disappointing. I thanked her and said that the quote was not needed and said goodbye. I call in again, speak to the customer service agent, he was great, apologized and said he would bring it up to the district/regional manager. A few minutes later, this DM/RM calls me back and tells me that they cannot and will not issue any quotes without the sales pitch and they are required to explain the technology. Fair BUT he was condescending and unkind, accusing me of slamming the door in the sales person face. I was terse and stern in return. I most assured did not slam the door (my door has a pressure issue with both the screen and the door itself so it's actually impossible to slam) and my kids were right there, as witnesses, and I'd never 'rage', especially in front of them. CAUTION: the customer service man was great, all the other staff are condescending. This is DEFINITELY a high pressure sales gig. Beware. I can't speak to anything beyond this, despite my begging for pricing, it is not happening for me. The DM/RM ended up hanging up on me, after absolute abysmal customer service on his part. If you're good with high pressure, it appears the product is top notch. NOTE: The approx cost was gleaned from websites, after doing a ton of research. It was not provided by Leaf Filter themselves. Installed cover on a 40 foot straight eavestroughs in 3 hours. Asked for payment right away and tried to get us to put in a review on the web. We told them we had to see how it works first. The sales pitch was high pressure and if you tried to get out right after signing, the cost would be 25%. Read the contract fine print. Hope it will keep our larch needles out!.
Unpleasant to do business with this high pressure outfit.

Quick efficient work. From the quote to installation in 2 days. Excellent job and great customer care!

Great service by Darren Woods. He was super kind and greatly done our roof. He even found the other defects that I wasnt aware of. Highly recommended

Useless and the customer service is atrocious. Been trying for months to get it removed from my home and they refuse. Broken personal property...gutters still have dirt and "things" growing out...ice build up...don't waste your money!!!! This is only a tidbit of the complete story....and I'm still fighting to get it resolved....and I'm still expected to pay 25% IF it ever gets removed. Wish I had been able to get involved with the class action suit.
