This is way overdue, but we had to share our great experience. In February of 2021, one of the coldest months on record in Calgary, our furnace died. Luckily, we are Matt's neighbours, and I knew he dealt with these sorts of things, so I reached out. They were very busy at that time given the circumstances, but he made time to come by immediately. In addition, despite the fact that our furnace was essentially destroyed from a slow leak, he got it working for the rest of winter that day -- and he followed up to make sure we were good.

Fast forward to November 2021, and as anticipated, too much damage had been done. We needed a new one. Throughout the process, I consulted Matt. Even though we did not have a solid plan of how to proceed, he was always available to support and even to come by and take a look. It made our decision to go with The Heating Ninja for a furnace replacement a no-brainer. We knew we were dealing with good people who were highly qualified and professional, and we got a very reasonable price based on what we saw on the market -- and we did our homework.

Hired them to install an A/C unit and a garage heater. Great price, friendly installers, clean installation. I really appreciated the honest advice about what was worth upgrading and what was not. Lots of other quotes I got were upselling and Heating Ninja was really honest about what was really needed. Bonus points when I needed help with my furnace a few months later the owner, Matt, helped me troubleshoot and fix it over the phone. Really impressed with this company and would recommend them to family or friends in a heartbeat.

I waited a year before posting this review on The Heating Ninja ,In case there was any run arounds or issues with products hidden fee's ,not answering the phone or avoiding any questions Which Matt never did always returned my calls. My old furnace gave out a little over a year now it was to old for any kind of replacement parts was over 40 years so I needed a full furnace install and duct work to bring it all up to code venting outside. so this began my hunt to find a furnace having no ideas on what is what in the furnace industry I started calling around and found out prices were all over the place,I called popular companies came with a big price and a basic furnace single stage as it was the cheapest option for me. called less popular companies and they also were all over the place in price. So I started looking at reviews and it came down to can they offer me a great furnace within my budget, will they pull the needed permits,can it pass the inspection, can they have it done soon mid winter cold nights and no heat oh man. Well Matt at The Heating Ninja checked all the boxes I decided to go with a Goodman furnace GMEC960 based on best warranty labour and parts 10 years wanted a single stage but got a 2 stage for the same price due to supplier stock issue not sure but Matt took care of that at no extra cost to me. Also Matt took care of booking a duct cleaning on the same day of the install at a fair price as I also called around for duct cleaning and none were priced the same. Install completed new furnace up to code a year later no issues heats great,Inspector came passed inspection,permits pulled he gave me a copy,there is a filter delivery program, honeywell programmable thermostat that they installed looks great and works, ducts cleaned made a big difference in air quality, price was honest and fair after completing my research for all the work his installers did thanks to Dave and Dalton .

Needed a humidifier installed in my condo. I found the unit I like however the dimensions seemed too large for my furnace. I emailed a few places for a quote and sent photos with dimensions to help.
Most said they could install the unit I want and quoted $575 (supply and install...tax extra) and more.
Matt at Ninja said it was a doable install and quoted $420 all-in. A sizable difference. Obvious to me that Ninja wasn't out to rip off the customer with mark-up.
Dave arrived on time and did a great job. Clean and attentive in his work.
I wouldn't hesitate to work with this company again and highly recommend them.
Between the price difference, good, clean install and no surprises I am very pleased to work with both Matt and Dave on this project

I was referred to Matt by a good friend. When I received the first quote I found his price to be very competitive. Almost too good to be true. I decided to gamble and go with it. The very next day the AC had stopped working. At this moment I felt very uncomfortable thinking "you get what you pay for" feeling. I contacted Matt. an hour later. He had outsourced another company (out of his own pocket expense) to take a look at my AC to determine the problem.I guess his techs were caught up with other jobs. It turns out to be a faulty Value. That same day later in the evening it was fixed. I was blown away by the extremely fast and professional service. Matt is an individual who is very knowledgeable, and knows how to take care of the customers. I highly recommend him.

I absolutely love the service because I am the guy who does not change his furnace filter ever!!

When the filter is delivered to your house every three months it makes it very easy to remember

They also have done a air-conditioning unit for us which just kicks butt!!
