Unable to speak to a customer service representative. Unable to get an update re my bill.Need to know my balance.Very dissatisfied method of service and communication.

Be aware if they claim them to be Simply Smart Home as well. You will be confused a lot.

I will avoid Simply Smart Home as well if they try to offer you some free gadget and then try to persuade you to change water heater and furnace in the end.

Please read this before you consider doing any business with this company!!!
I got the HVAC rental in 2016. original monthly payment was 44.99 + tax for 120 months. The installation was very unprofessional with cheapest material, which fell off twice and had to be reinstalled. After installation, I found out the unit retail price was actually less than $1700. Unfortunately I was not allowed to cancel the contract, as the buyout cost is to pay monthly fee times remaining months on term plus $100. They also increase the rental fee every year ~5%. Is this a legitimate business model?
Another fun part to be noted is if you don't confront them with the original copy of agreement, they would tell you the term was 180 months. Also you will be continuously charged after the term ends unless you call them to close the agreement and pay closure fee.
I reported to Best Business Bureau. This company claimed to be out of business. But it still charges me on my Enbridge bill.
Last option is to pursue a lawsuit. Please message me if interested.

I was paying for equipment and maintenance but never maintained the equipment so I stopped paying the bill. They have liens on my property

Bought a property in 2015 with rental furnace in if from this company, payment went up from $74 a month to almost $100 a month. They never service the equipment and when you ask for it technicians clearly not interested in visiting the property and start advising over the phone.
Not sure why these practices are not considered fraud and not treated as crime?

I have been paying more than $180 month for both boiler and air handler for the last five years. And, when I wanted to pay it off they want $11,000. Avoid this company, do not trust them. Every year payments started going up too. I was told they will service every year so far no one had come to service.

This company is predatory and ruthless. They will not accommodate buyouts which is illegal - what they will do is promise you a buy-out package in 4-5 days, and nothing will ever come, forcing you to call them again and again and again.

Another startling revelation is that they do not value privacy- I had asked to see contracts that I signed back in 2015 (yes I've been trapped in rentals with them since 2015) and I was emailed a complete strangers contract and personal information by mistake I'm guessing. This alone goes to show their professionalism.

Long story short, my elderly father was roped into multiple rental contracts with a 10+ year term. The sad thing is that there is seemingly no way out of them. Every time we call the customer service line, we get either hung up on, told that we are not important or given the runaround. All in, we are looking at an approximate $50k loss.

If you are in the market for a water heater, air conditioner, furnace, look to alternative routes and strongly consider buying. Please do not let these people into your home-they will often say your home is not safe or that they need to do inspections, only to get a foot inside your house to upsell. Please, please be safe.

Back in 2012 a sales man of the above company sold us a high efficiency furnace as a rental unit. But when I called for service they said I own the unit and there will be extra charges. But when the guy sold it he was saying that they will take care the furnace until paid off.so basically he
hide the truth from us.I'm paying 68 dollars per month. Then I found out from the finance company that I have to pay until 16 years. So the total amount in 16 years will be paid triple time of the furnace price. I recommend all the customers please please don't fall in this contract.

Purchased a home where the owner contracted with Simply Comfort. I had the owner buyout the contract. They paid $8500 to buy it out. I have these products sitting in my house.
I called simply comfort and they don't have manuals to share on the products nor will they service them without charging a fee.
There is no documentation on the products. They gave me the model number and I am on my own. I can't find any information online.

Rented a new furnace from this guys a while back under contract for the next 10 years and we were told it would be so much a month and now the price keep going up with inflation and this furnace will end up custing me over 10000$ by the time the contract is over,please poeple,do not fall in this kind of buisness.They say that i am protected if anything goes wrong but a furnace last a long time[more like 20 years]before anything goes wrong with it.its been almost 10 years now and never had a probleme with it but this darn thing end up costing me double of what a furnace
cost.Rental unit like these guys offer r just not right,do not
fall for this poeple,u will regret it.Now i been looking at the review and poeple,ask for a lawyer to help u,i seen one that is a specialist in this kind of bad deals that we all going through,we ll see what is going to happen .i rather pay a 1000$ then another 3000$ to those kind of business poeple.Lawyer told me that they may be able to help but i have to wait for the assessment for the buy out that i have left,if its a lot then they will help,can only hope they can.
