Had a great experience with Chris, he was quick to respond to e-mails and was super sincere in providing help even after the the inspection for me and my family. also let me tag along with the inspection and showed me some tricks for keeping the condo in tip-top shape.

Haystack provided me with full explanations on all the items on their report! Their report was a great tool to negotiate with the sellers and to create my own "To do" list for after my move on things the seller decided not to fix.

Chris provided a thorough, well detailed inspection. He completed his report and provided to us within 24 hours for our review. Report was detailed, comprehensive, and helped inform our decision. I strongly recommend Chris. He is a professional that is looking out for out.

Called Chris to do a home inspection on short notice. He was very accommodating. He helped reading the engineering report, explained his findings in relationship to the history of the building, provided us with the information and left the final judgment to us. Based on what he found we did not purchase that property. It was sad but we were very satisfied with his service. Later we hired him again to do another inspection for a different property. There was some complication with the date of the inspection and he was willing to come twice on different days to inspect the condo and the common amenities. For both properties he provided detailed reports promptly and we feel very secure that we made the right purchase because of Chris.

Mr. Thompson has provided a very detail and thorough inspection on the condominium we purchased recently. He explained his observations to us while performing the inspection. A written report including many photos was sent to us on the next day! We are very happy for his services.

We needed an inspection last minute, before putting an offer on house and Chris changed his schedule around in order to meet our needs. His inspection was extremely thorough and Chris even took the time afterwards to walk us through the entire house to show us areas that needed to be addressed. Understanding that we were putting an offer in that day, Chris made sure to send us his review within hours after the inspection and was happy to explain any questions we had later that evening by phone. We could not have been happier Chris during our home inspection and would use him in the future for the purchase of our next home.

As a potential buyer on a 30 year old house, I needed not just an inspection for the sake of having one, but an honest opinion. Chris delivered both, in spades, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. No nonsense guy, tells you how he sees it, no sugar coating, but no scare tactics either, only professional opinion with experience to back it up.

Seeing him work is a treat, even for a slightly obsessive compulsive guy like myself. He's got a system, and he's thorough, ours took just about 4 hours start to finish. I showed up 20 minutes early at the property, and he was already up on the roof, doing his thing, what more can you ask for? I always felt welcomed to participate in the inspection process as much or as little as I liked. He always treated me with respect, and was never bothered by silliest questions, true professional.

The icing on the cake is the report itself. I kid you not, mine was 68 pages long, for a 2,000 square foot property, but it's 68 pages of detailed, and illustrated inventory of everything that is either right or wrong. Delivered right on time the next morning, it is a report forming the basis of my 3/6/12/24-month plan of remediation and maintenance to ensure the home serves our family for the years to come.

Long story short, just give Chris a call, you will not be disappointed.

I was referred to Chris by my bank as I was working on finalizing the details on a home in Coquitlam that I placed an offer on. I was really excited for this home and everything about this home seems great on the surface.
