Deck was totally rotted out and needed replacing. As well we had a tight time line. Work was done efficiently and communication was excellent.

The railing and surface was removed with the plywood to reinstall new plywood, insulation, and surface. I elected to have the revealed area vacuumed, then the new insulation and plywood was installed. A professional job resulted, including a measured groove the depth of the surface layer to recess the bottom join to the top so that the surface was totally flat. The area was also sloped towards the gutter for rain runoff. Finally the railing was installed with stainless screws. It looks fabulous.

The deck was in danger of collapsing. Citywide Sundecks did a wonderful job of removing and rebuilding a beautiful new deck but keeping as much of the old as possible due to budget restriction. Paul from Citywide Sundecks was a pleasure to work with. He was quick in responding to our questions and returning messages. Our back deck needed to be refurbished and the stairs replaced. What I appreciated about Citywide is they did the work well and made recommendations for only the work that was necessary. Paul did not try to upsell us anything that was not absolutely necessary. He gave us options, costs and recommended we not replace everything. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. Removal of old deck rails, deck surface and plywood. Change slope of deck, rebuild, resurface, install new railings and glass. Relocate and install new deck access stairs. Remove and replace back door to the house.
