Replace an old stained surface on a large sundeck
The railing and surface was removed with the plywood to reinstall new plywood, insulation, and surface. I elected to have the revealed area vacuumed, then the new insulation and plywood was installed. A professional job resulted, including a measured groove the depth of the surface layer to recess the bottom join to the top so that the surface was totally flat. The area was also sloped towards the gutter for rain runoff. Finally the railing was installed with stainless screws. It looks fabulous.
