Windows By Installer

When the gentleman came out and we decided on what we were going to do he said it would be about 5 weeks. It was within a week of that time frame. That is a plus. When they came out to install the windows and door, they found out the manufacturer had sent the wrong door. The installers were extremely apologetic even though they weren't at fault and they installed the door they had for the time being. The head installer said it would be approximately 2-3 weeks before the other door would be in. It was two and a half weeks. They came back and installed it to our satisfaction.

Installed seven windows and did an excellent job. There was a lot of rotten wood which had to be replaced and their workmanship appears to be extremely good. The windows look great and I think I can already after just a few days notice a change in the inside temperature.
The workmen had to obtain a large amount of cedar to replace the rotten wood and charged me for materials and labor. I was hesitant to pay for the labor as I thought it should not be an additional fee. After paying the small amount for the additional labor with a note, the owner of the company called me and told me he was going to refund the cost of that additional labor. I was pleasantly amazed and pleased with his highly ethical behavior.

The three installers arrived on-time (actually about 5 minutes early), and it became obvious right away that each knew exactly what his function was. I was impressed by how well they worked together. In some past instances where I've witnessed a team effort in doing work (such as installing a new roof), one person would be working and three others might just be watching the one working. Not so with these three fellows, they each contributed equally
The finished product looks great, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome.

This company definitely gets thumbs up!! From the original estimate to the final installation, they were so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had two windows replaced with full screens. It only took half the time I was quoted and gave me more time to do what I needed to do. The installed windows function beautifully. They even vacuumed after they were finished. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Hiring WBI for this project was a good decision. It was time to replace windows in several rooms of our house. The windows were original to the structure and had aged to the point where they were letting out a considerable amount of heat each Winter.
An hour or so (can't recall exactly, but it wasn't long) after I left a message," Alex reached out to me by email. This was a Sunday evening so his contact came as a complete but welcomed surprise. We exchanged emails wherein we arranged a day/time for one his team to come out the house to take measurements.
I think the gentleman's name was Oleg. He arrived on the agreed upon day just as planned. Very friendly. Very quick yet precise. He came in, took his measurements, explained the work that would be done in replacing the window, and answered all of my questions.
The windows had to be built and so that would take time. As that was being done, Alex stayed in touche throughout. It was good to know that he was keeping an eye on the progress of the project.
Once the windows were ready for installation, Alex contacted me to arrange a day/time for his crew to come out. They arrived right on time and "got right to it." Great guys. Personable. Quick and efficient. They removed and replaced each window in turn, cleaning each area as they went along. They answered my questions, instructed me on what they were doing at each stage in the process and why. It was good to watch and learn. Once the set of windows was installed, the crew chief showed me how to open the windows properly and manipulate the screen (sounds strange, but this was required ----- our former windows were dated and this new set had features the other set did not).
The windows are an exact fit and they look great. We can tell that house is warmer though we know the air heating unit is not activating as frequently. So, we are sure that this will be reflected in our next electricity bill.
We are very happy with Alex and his WBI team. When it comes time to replace additional windows, we will be getting in touch with them again.

One of the rare times we have had workers arrive at the scheduled time!! From start to finish, a very clean and professional job. Salesman arrived onsite as well to confirm workers were here and that the job was going well. Very pleased. ***It's been a few weeks now since we had the new windows installed and I can't even begin to tell you how pleased we are with them. What a difference in the fact that we now can sit in our dining room for an early dinner and not have the draft from the windows chilling the place. The bedroom stays so nice and warm. Haven't received an electric bill yet, but I'm betting that we see a significant reduction in our heating bill. So far very pleased with these windows and how they look and operate.

It was a real pleasure to work with Steve and Alex from Windows by Installer. All communications with them was prompt and courteous. They did exactly what they said they would do. The job was professionally done. They made it very easy for us. And we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Highly recommend them for door or window replacement or remodeling, just as a little tip you can get an estimate from a few other companies just to compare the prices, but to be honest you will most likely go with Windows by Installer. Keep up the great job guys.

When we purchased the home, we were told that some of the newer windows had been installed by Windows by Installer, so we considered them for the replacement of a few more windows, and after pricing other companies alongside Window by Installer, we realized that for the product we wanted, they were still the best. So we worked with them, and every step, from getting the windows measured and ordered, to scheduling installation, to the installation itself and settling the bill, was carried out without a hitch, and everyone we dealt with there was friendly and knowledgeable.

Overall my experience with Windows by Installer was good. There were a few cosmetic issues, dings and scratches from either the installation process or shipping. All issues were promptly taken care of. Alex was easy to work with and made sure that I was completely satisfied. I was a little concerned about how much of the existing window frames were being removed. The installers can't use power tools on windows with lead paint so they had to bust out the sashes manually, leaving gashes and large chunks missing. However, once they installed the aluminium flashing everything look very nice. The windows have been installed for a couple of months now and I have had no issues with them thus far. I feel confident that if any issues were to arise, Alex and his colleagues will stand by the their installation and products. My neighbors have all complemented me on how nice the new windows look. The windows are a huge improvement over the old ones. Another plus with Windows by Installer is they do not use contractors.

Steven came out to take measurements, and discuss options with us. He was very easy to work with - answered all of our questions, and took the required measurements. WIthin 1 week, he called to set up the second appointment at the showroom, to see samples of their products: windows and doors. We were very satisfied with the estimate - the total $$ (for both windows and doors) came in right about where we had hoped. We were especially impressed with the Window City series windows (which is what we choose).
The installers came when scheduled, and completed the work to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the result - the windows and doors look great, and the front of the house (with the new picture window, new front door and other new windows) really looks so much better. We have received several compliments from neighbors , family, friends on the changed appearance of our house; especially the front, with the new windows and front door. Thanks Windows by Installer!
