Excellent product and crew. Had a minor issue with one window and it was resolved by Alex. I will recommend these guys as there's no middle man and you deal directly with a family run business.

Alex from Windows by Installer came to my home to give me an estimate in a timely manner after my initial call to his company. He measured all of the windows needing replacement so that he didn't have to return. He gave a thorough explanation of the various types of windows and included estimates for different windows. He priced everything individually in case we had decided to not to replace the windows all at once. He brought a sample window of the one I was most interested in and allowed me to keep it overnight until my wife was able to see it. I was interested in vinyl windows, but I was concerned about the colour since my house (interior and exterior) has antique white woodwork and pure white would not have looked good. We found a great vinyl window that seems to be of exceptional quality and the colour we chose (both inside and out) complements my home. I had gotten an estimate from Window World, and while they are less expensive, there were no color options that would have worked for me. I am convinced that I got a higher quality product as well. My home is over 50 years old and some of the windows had been replaced when certain rooms have been remodeled, but it is nice to all of the windows updated which has enhanced the look of my home.
Alex was great to work with as were the two gentlemen who did the installation work. The work took two days and the men were very friendly and professional. I couldn't be there the entire time and I felt very comfortable having them there while I was gone. I had read great reviews about this company on Homestars and I would highly recommend them as well.

I originally called Steven to get a quote on replacing eight of my windows. During the initial meeting I thought all he did was windows. When he heard about the scope of my project, he mentioned that he could offer a quote on the siding and the painting as well. He was professional and encouraging, rather than being alarming and applying pressure. Compared to three other contractors, his rates were simple, clear, responsive to my needs and highly competitive. The selection of the windows was an area when Steven's expertise showed through. He patiently explained the differences between different types of windows and made carefully considered recommendations. His crews have obviously worked with him for a long time. The window installers were prompt, respectful of my home (especially since they had to work on the inside) and quick. The residing project was huge. The house has three levels so the workers had to erect a scaffold. The onsite supervisor of the crew checked in with me daily (when I was available). He was courteous and operated very independently. He was clearly very experienced and took ownership of high quality craftsmanship. When the residing project was complete, two of my neighbors thought that the project was over because even without paint, the house looked fantastic. The painter was a bit slower but very thorough. I would certainly call him to help me with handyman work and painting the inside of my home. He worked alone and was conscientious of details. He hand painted around the windows and took extra care with the windows that were not replaced. In the end, I'm very happy with my home and the work that was done. The experience was positive and while for me, it was a big project, I feel like I totally got my moneys worth!

We've had our sound-proof windows for nearly a year now and couldn't be happier. Before the windows were installed, my sleep was being repeatedly interrupted by sirens, drunk college kids, noisy garbage trucks, etc. The results of the windows were immediate and amazing. I have no doubt that it has increased the value of the property and distinguishes our home from others in the area. One recent morning, I noticed a loose part in the kitchen window. It didn't affect the sound insulation, but it was difficult to keep the window open. I gave Steven a buzz, and he was at our house and had the window fixed free-of-charge THAT afternoon. He explained the part can come loose when the window is opened too much. While he was over, we also pointed out that in some areas the caulk was cracking, and although this wasn't affecting the sound and was hardly noticeable, it was visible if the windows were inspected closely. He offered to come back with his tools and fix that as well, and indeed he did within the week. He even left us the matching caulk so we could repair it ourselves if needed. I really don't think we could ask for more professional and responsive service than what we have received so far.

Seven windows on the rear of the house were replaced with windows that matched those on the front of the house. We were happy with the windows we had installed on the front of the house five years ago and wanted to get identical windows for the back of the house. Windows by installer were able to provide the windows at a price very comparable to what we spent on the front windows five years ago. They added capping to the new window which we did not have for the front windows when they were installed five years ago. They also agreed to cap the front windows while installing the new rear windows.

We had lots of estimates before making our final decision. It was Steve's professionalism and follow through that helped us make up our minds. We are extremely pleased with the final product. Our windows are beautiful and our siding is perfect. Steve was on site on numerous occasions and the staff he had working on our house were very polite and did a great job!

The owner came to discuss the work to be done. He was prompt, thorough and informative and made it clear that I could call him any time if I had questions. After I purchased this special offer, I had to have surgery and two hospital readmissions, delaying the window installation. The installer was very accommodating and arranged a time that was convenient for me. The installation went smoothly and I was very pleased with the final product. I was shown how to operate the new windows, and was asked to go around with the installer to inspect them. The clean-up was thorough and timely. I would definitely use their services again!

Ilio came personally and gave us a Quote to have 6 basement windows installed, as I was not happy with first sales person. He was amazing explained everything in detail and gave us an excellent price (I did get several from other companies). We went with him and are so happy we did, Egor was the Installer and he was polite and Informative, the job was done quick, and on time. They cleaned up after the job and also took the time to show me the operation of the windows, so we knew how to open them for Cleaning. Highly Recommend this company. We will use them again!!! I would highly recommend! From start to finish, service was above and beyond. Excellent work. Excellent rates. I have to admit I was skeptical when I first met the salesmen, but he and his installers delivered 100% and far below the other 3 quotes that I received.. It included 3 bay windows. Others said that the bay window on side of house would be difficult, whereas these guys said no problem. They really know their stuff. Very Very happy.

I called WBI and they sent over a salesman. He was an older gentlemen and experienced. I told him what I wanted to have done and he gave me his price. I was happy with him, his attitude and his patience while explaining what he thought was the best option for me, I signed the deal. After leaving a deposit, they came to install a few weeks later. I had 5 windows which had to be replaced. They did the job and everything went smoothly. They were professional throughout the whole process. I'm happy I decided to go with these guys
