Alex from Windows by Installer came to my home to give me an estimate in a timely manner after my initial call to his company. He measured all of the windows needing replacement so that he didn't have to return. He gave a thorough explanation of the various types of windows and included estimates for different windows. He priced everything individually in case we had decided to not to replace the windows all at once. He brought a sample window of the one I was most interested in and allowed me to keep it overnight until my wife was able to see it. I was interested in vinyl windows, but I was concerned about the colour since my house (interior and exterior) has antique white woodwork and pure white would not have looked good. We found a great vinyl window that seems to be of exceptional quality and the colour we chose (both inside and out) complements my home. I had gotten an estimate from Window World, and while they are less expensive, there were no color options that would have worked for me. I am convinced that I got a higher quality product as well. My home is over 50 years old and some of the windows had been replaced when certain rooms have been remodeled, but it is nice to all of the windows updated which has enhanced the look of my home. Alex was great to work with as were the two gentlemen who did the installation work. The work took two days and the men were very friendly and professional. I couldn't be there the entire time and I felt very comfortable having them there while I was gone. I had read great reviews about this company on Homestars and I would highly recommend them as well.

This is my first review on Homestars. I started using Homestars a looong time ago and always took advantage of reading other people's helpful reviews, but not until now have I felt compelled to write my own. After procrastinating for a long time on looking for an electrician, I finally looked up electricians and noticed the high star rating for Community Electric. When I called, Aidan answered and helped me diagnose a problem over the phone (which I was then able to fix myself) instead of coming by and charging me for something that was easy to fix yourself. Since I liked his honesty and professionalism, I scheduled for him to come out and install some landscape lighting, motion sensor lights, and an LED dimmer at our house. He showed up on time (no flakiness here) and gave me a very upfront and fair quote for everything I needed done. Another electrician (I didn't get his name but he was also pretty good) showed up 15 minutes later and they began their work. I paid them exactly what was quoted and I am very pleased with the results of their work! Community Electric will definitely be on my go-to list from now on. It's a real blessing to be able to find such a reliable and pleasant contractors that you can count on!
