Andrei from Metro Plumbing and Drains and his team have done a great job! Long story short, within
the last year our basement has been seriously flooded twice because of the problems with the main
drain. To prevent such a backflow from occurring again, we decided to install a backwater valve. We got
around five estimates from plumbing companies serving our area. Want to comment that some of the
quotes were absolutely out of this world. Metro Plumbing and Drains gave us a good price and since we
haven’t heard anything bad about them we decided to give them a try. Now I see it was a right decision.
They not only fixed the problem and explained us how the whole system works, and what is needed to
be done step by step, but also saved us a lot of money (comparing to others). I just want to add that our
close family friend has had the same problem. Following our suggestion, he has hired Metro Plumbing
to fix it and has been extremely satisfied with their service too. It was a great experience dealing with
Andrei and all the others who were involved

I was getting new appliances and I needed a pipe led to the fridge for the ice maker. The movers did not want to do the job but they recommended Metro Plumbing and Drains. I gave those guys a call and they came to do an estimate. They gave me a good price and said that it was a quick job. The plumber then left and came back with some pipes. He work for about an hour and then even hooked the pipe to the fridge. Everything was great, and the ice maker works very well.

A week ago my son noticed that there was no hot water. I looked around the water heater and saw that it was leaking. Metro Plumbing and Drains had good reviews so I gave them a call. The plumber came and said that It needs to be replaced. He and I bargained around and came up with a great price. The next day he brought a new water heater and installed it pretty quickly. Called Metro Plumbing for an emergency. My showerhead was leaking profusely and needed to be fixed immediately. A plumber was at my house within 1.5 hrs and fixed it right away. Professional and efficient service.

I have an older house which has been developing leaky water shutoffs in growing numbers over the years. We procrastinated until the bathroom shower faucet lost its integrity. I was at a loss to know who to call. Vadym Badenko came within an hour and a half of my phone call to diagnose my problems for free and explain pricing, polite and not pushy (fixed only what needed fixing), did the work as efficiently as possible while being quick and tidy. Two hours later it was all done. Work is guaranteed for a year.

-discouraged us from doing a couple of things that were "still okay". Instead of upgrading my main water shut off he just tightened it. For now it is good enough.

Vadym, the plumber from Metro, explained everything clearly, gave us a good rate and repaired our faucet and pipe in under an hour. He did a great job. No more leaks.

I've email to several plumbing companies with problem description. Metro plumbing was one of the first to reply and were most reasonable on estimated price. Tenant reported me later that they were very quick to arrive and service was exemplary.

I went on a business trip for a week and when I got home my finished basement was flooded. We’ve decided to renovate our kitchen and upgrade the appliances. So we needed a contractor to install a refrigerator with an icemaker. Metro Plumbing and Drains wasn’t our first choice. We called them because the guy from the other company never showed up. So useless to say that I was a bit skeptical when the call taker from Metro Plumbing and Drains told me that they had an available plumber who could come to my place within an hour. What to say, the plumber arrived on time. He appeared to be a very nice and professional young man. But what impressed me most of all was that before coming in he put on disposable booties on the top of his safety boots. Thank you very much that you show respect to my property. The second thing that impressed me – after installing the icemaker he cleaned the area around. Wow, just wow. I don’t know, others might say “hey, nothing special, you paid for that”. I want to add that the price I paid was very reasonable, never the less I was treated like a real VIP. I will definitely call them again.

Vadym was excellent - He came right on time (early, in fact) to fix our toilet which was not flushing properly and whose handle was broken. He told me upfront what the cost would be before starting any work and he had a booklet that showed the standard prices, so I knew he wasn't just pulling out arbitrary numbers. I would highly recommend his services!
