Our water heater was leaking heavily. We called up some plumbing companies working in our town to get estimates. Metro Plumbing and Drains gave us the lowest price so why to pay more? The whole job was done smoothly, professionally and in no time. The guy who came to my place was very friendly and willingly answered all the questions I had. The whole experience was very positive and we will definitely call them again in a case we need a plumber.

This is just a brief note to express my gratefulness for a job that was done by two of your plumbers Mike and Andrew, and a team of diggers. After the recent flood, I was constantly experiencing some main drain issues. Called a couple of plumbing companies for estimates and decided to go with Metro Plumbing and Drains because 1) the price was really good 2) our neighbors had the same problem and were happy with Metro Plumbing. They did the whole job from getting a permit and to scheduling the appointments with the city inspector. All I had to do – was just to sign the cheque. I am a very busy single mom and every penny counts. So it was good to know that as a resident of Toronto I qualified for a rebate from the city. Thank you guys for all your help. I appreciate it very much and I will definitely call you again and recommend your services to my friends!

We’ve had the root problem for at least five years in a row. It was a real pain in the drain! This time we decided to try a new plumbing company since the old one wasn’t very successful in fixing the problem. I can say it was a good decision because a crew from Metro Plumbing and Drains did a W-A-A-A-Y more complete job than the one we used in the past. Moreover they were able to give us a warranty so that we don’t have to worry if this problem arises in the future. Honestly, this time I feel we’ve spent money right. Just want to add, that the communication with the company was very prompt and the whole job was done in no time! Andrei from Metro Plumbing and Drains and his team have done a great job! Long story short, within
the last year our basement has been seriously flooded twice because of the problems with the main
drain. To prevent such a backflow from occurring again, we decided to install a backwater valve. We got
around five estimates from plumbing companies serving our area. Want to comment that some of the
quotes were absolutely out of this world. Metro Plumbing and Drains gave us a good price and since we
haven’t heard anything bad about them we decided to give them a try. Now I see it was a right decision.
They not only fixed the problem and explained us how the whole system works, and what is needed to
be done step by step, but also saved us a lot of money (comparing to others). I just want to add that our
close family friend has had the same problem. Following our suggestion, he has hired Metro Plumbing
to fix it and has been extremely satisfied with their service too. It was a great experience dealing with

I was getting new appliances and I needed a pipe led to the fridge for the ice maker. The movers did not want to do the job but they recommended Metro Plumbing and Drains. I gave those guys a call and they came to do an estimate. They gave me a good price and said that it was a quick job. The plumber then left and came back with some pipes. He work for about an hour and then even hooked the pipe to the fridge. Everything was great, and the ice maker works very well.

A week ago my son noticed that there was no hot water. I looked around the water heater and saw that it was leaking. Metro Plumbing and Drains had good reviews so I gave them a call. The plumber came and said that It needs to be replaced. He and I bargained around and came up with a great price. The next day he brought a new water heater and installed it pretty quickly. Called Metro Plumbing for an emergency. My showerhead was leaking profusely and needed to be fixed immediately. A plumber was at my house within 1.5 hrs and fixed it right away. Professional and efficient service.

I have an older house which has been developing leaky water shutoffs in growing numbers over the years. We procrastinated until the bathroom shower faucet lost its integrity. I was at a loss to know who to call. Vadym Badenko came within an hour and a half of my phone call to diagnose my problems for free and explain pricing, polite and not pushy (fixed only what needed fixing), did the work as efficiently as possible while being quick and tidy. Two hours later it was all done. Work is guaranteed for a year.
I would use his service again, in a heart beat.

-discounts for the additional work we decided on.
-discouraged us from doing a couple of things that were "still okay". Instead of upgrading my main water shut off he just tightened it. For now it is good enough.

Vadym, the plumber from Metro, explained everything clearly, gave us a good rate and repaired our faucet and pipe in under an hour. He did a great job. No more leaks.
