Out Of This World Plumbing - Ottawa

Fixed a Moet faucet in our shower. Moët faucets have a lifetime guarantee so parts are covered. Repair took 45 mins. $500 for 45 minutes of work. We live in central Ottawa.
The plumber was lovely, I have nothing bad to say about him. Having the bio texted was a lovely touch. I would have loved to use this plumber independently but through Out of this World.

We had a telltale sign of water on the grout of our tiles beside the toilet and called Out of This World Plumbing. Garry Kelly was vey professional, listened to our concerns, gathered information and checked downstairs under the toilet area as well. He discovered a very slight crack in the toilet and also discovered an area in the basement area plumbing that could use some attention. He worked for a good hour and half, left the area very clean and left us very satisfied. The company sends reminders by email and even sends an email just prior to the plumber's arrival to tell you their name and a little bit about them. We knew upfront how much the service call would be and Garry was very clear about how much the job would be to fix. We had an extra toilet that he installed right away and all is well. Will definitely use this company again.

They saved me in a jam and didn't take advantage of me on the price. They were in and out fast without leaving a mess. They informed me of a bigger issue that I eventually will need to remedy - but can live with in the short term.

I urge everyone to get a rough estimate of the work needed before having them come over. I didn’t and it cost me $650+ to replace a toilet that I supplied; it took 30 min. The guy was super knowledgeable and helpful but the cost was outrageous. Please shop around.

A blocked drain caused our laundry sink to overflow during a load and partially flood the basement. DS (Out of this World) was the second company I called (in a panic). I was impressed with the person I spoke to at the office, who calmly answered my questions and assured me that a technician would call me within the hour. They also took the time to remind me that I should shut off the main water valve if flooding was ongoing.

The tech who showed up (Craig) was friendly and welcomed our help and participation in the work. While fixing the problem he also taught us a lot about the plumbing in our home and how we could do minor fixes ourselves to prevent future problems. I really appreciate that this company is up-front about its pricing, and Craig always allowed us the option to redirect the problem solving so we could try less-costly solutions first.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with a plumbing emergency or looking for consultation about plumbing work. They are very knowledgeable and down to earth. We signed up for the PAWS program and are looking forward to our annual review to learn more about ways we can maintain and improve the plumbing in our home.

I had a Kinetico water softner and iron filter installed by Trevor, and let me tell you the service and install was out of this world!!!! See what I did there!

After coming home from work and hearing what sounded like a waterfall coming from the basement, I went downstairs to find water shooting out of the sump pit all over the place.

I called DS Plumbing (now called "Out of this World Home Services"). After the representative on the phone explained the $249.00 + tax emergency call-out fee, I agreed and Brandon called me back less than an hour later to let me know that he would be on his way over. He arrived about an hour later and got to work.

Brandon did a good job at recommending different options, and then proceeded to efficiently replace the disconnected connections and glued them in place. Brendon was a friendly and professional young plumber, and he mentioned he had about 4 years of experience and would be going to get his Red Seal designation soon.

I would recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber, however I do find the price a little high, as prices are charged per part ($72.60 per fitting). I don't use plumbing services often, so perhaps this is normal for the trade. I would gladly use this company again in the event of a plumbing emergency.

Craig fixed my plumbing needs for the second time. He did an excellent job again. Craig explained everything to me very clearly.
He is very professional, punctual and efficient. Quality work and great service!
