I discovered mold in my unfinished basement storage room. I contacted Canada's Restoration Services and received a call back from Gabriel, a local project manager, that same day. He booked an appointment with me for a free inspection. During Gabriel's inspection he was professional, knowledgeable, and confident. He took the time to explain his assessment and the recommended course of action. He sent me a detailed estimate via email. I then agreed to proceed with the estimate and booked a date for the mold removal. The turn around time was very reasonable. On removal day Gabriel and the mold removal specialists arrived on time. They carefully helped me to remove any items from the storage room that would've been in their way. The removal specialists explained the process to me before they started the removal process. The storage room was well concealed before the mold removal was initiated. They completed the project as explained to me and were very clean and professional. They also helped me return the items back to the storage room once all the work was completed. Gabriel and his team were very easy to deal with and the customer service they provided was excellent.

We came home from a recent holiday to find out a pipe in our basement burst flooding the rec room and basement bedroom. We called Canada Restoration Services and received a call back from Andrew within 2 minutes. He promised us a crew would be in site in 45 minutes. He also said he would come and give us an estimate of the work needed to do. 15 minutes later we received a call from John the lead technician to say they were on their way and the GPS said they would be at our house in 25 minutes. They arrived on time, and brought in a water extractor and had the water out of our basement quickly. They followed this by sorting out our contents, pulling up rugs and a wood floor and bringing in industrial dehumidifiers and air movers to start the drying process. Andrew showed up about the same time the team did and set the scope of work, gave us an estimate of what needed to be done, instructed us on our options and made sure the job was done correctly. Some drywall was able to be dried without cutting it, but where we had insulation behind the walls they had to cut up 2 feet to dry it out and remove the wet insulation. once the basement was dry and the pipe was fixed we started the rebuild process. Once again Canada Restoration Services arranged for everything and we were very happy with the results. This company had great customer service when I called in with questions they always took the time to answer them and the mold removal in the basement was removed within budget and in a timely manner.

I called in and spoke to Jasmine regarding the mold problem we are having in our home. My grandson Rusty is severely asthmatic and the condition of our home affected his ability to visit us. Jasmine was immediately attentive and understanding of our situation and walked us through our options and possible courses of action. I was very impressed with her professional attitude. The company did not live up to our expectations and we experienced poor customer service, a lack of follow-up and communication. Following an estimate by Jake, we approved the removal of mold and contaminated material from a defective shower on November 11, 2014. Only after repeated follow-up efforts on our part did the work begin on December 1, a poor response given that water damage and mold should be dealt with quickly. Finally, only on December 12, at our request, was the lock box removed from our door and our key returned to us. We found our experience puzzling given the company's high rating on Homestars. Perhaps our job was considered "too small". We would not use the company again.

Mould had been growing in my furnace room over the span of a couple of months and I finally decided it had to be removed. I called Canada's Restoration Services and they had Robbie come by to assess the situation the next day. He was very professional and proved to be very knowledgeable as well - I'm glad that he took the time to fully explain the severity of the situation to me and what would be done to resolve it. He had a team come by the following day to remediate my furnace room. Two days after that, another team arrived to replace the drywall that had been removed as part of the remediation process. I am extremely satisfied with the services that Canada's Restoration Services provided and I've already recommended them to a few of my neighbours. Thanks again guys!

Every day they arrived right on time, they had the entire job done quickly but the quality exceeded my expectations. the entire area was cleaner than when they came in. The workers were all very professional and very reassuring/comforting.
