Trail Appliances

I purchased a display model from Trail Appliance South. This was an excellent unit and lots of positive reviews for this BBQ unit. I inspected the unit after getting it home and noticed that there were pieces missing from their installation. I went to Trail to request these parts be ordered. They told me that they would look after this... I phoned them 6 month months ago asking about the status of these parts and they said they had this order on record, but the parts had not yet arrived. It has now been 1 year and I haven't heard anything. Trail Appliances should really do a better job on their after sales.... I have not been entirely satisfied with my purchase here as I only have a partially operational BBQ unit.

We went to Trail Appliances to purchase a washer and dryer. We have never had such rotten service from any company. The sales people were great, no complaints with them. Trail appliance had to deliver 3 different sets because every time they brought a set it was damaged. When they finally got a set delivered and set up 3-4 days later the washer started leaking. It took them another three weeks to replace the washer. All this time when I phoned to get help the guys in service were absolutely ignorant. Not only would I never use them again neither will anyone I know.

Trail Appliances is the worst. They will not assist in setting up service for the appliances they sell. Two out of the five appliances I have purchased have needed service and they are the worst when trying to book service as they think Cochrane, being a whole 15 minutes outside the city limits isn't worth their time or attention. You are the absolute worst Trail!!!

Got appliances here for two homes that I had built. Just went there because they were the supplier for the builder. Trail is overpriced. I should have went elsewhere and just used my credit at another place. Won't ever be fooled again.

Trail did an excellent job from start to finish installing my new water softener. From the demo in the store, to the installation everything was flawless.

Trail is a big appliance store in Calgary, so I thought they would have the best prices but not the best customer service. After looking for a new fridge and microwave for a while, I was pleasantly surprised by their low prices and very helpful and attentive customer service. John was my sales guy and was very knowledgeable and I'd recommend him and the crew there any day.

Service of Trail is the worst I had never to gone through. Trail will call me the date of appointment in the morning to let me know what time the service guy will come by with window time frame. Never buy appliances to Trail Appliance again.

We purchased appliances from here because the builder gave you a credit to them. HORRIBLE. Appliances picked out in July, home moved into in October. Day before delivery at 530 at night we got a call saying fridge and microwave back ordered. Fridge showed up a week later, microwave never did show up.... After 2 weeks of waiting had to go select a different one and was told it was because we wanted white ( a common color) because white was hard to get. Garbarator came, half installed and didn't schedule the right trade to finish it, then arrogant sales manager pretended to be the store manager and told me it was my problem and was so rude. Only thing we had no issues with was the dishwasher. Salesperson was great... Sales manager was rude, store manager tried to fix issues by telling us what we wanted to hear, then not following through. No one would give me head offices phone number nor tell me the owner of both stores works in edmonton south store. Found the operations manager and between him and the store owner we got things worked out 3 weeks after scheduled install and delivery date. NEVER AGAIN!! For the premium you pay here, you really don't get the service you are looking for. Save your money!

We bought a new dishwasher after our 1 year old frigidaire dishwasher pump broke. Went to trail appliances after a recommendation by a friend and got an excellent deal on a maytag by a qualified dishwasher salesman.

While picking up our new washer/dryer the people loading it into our BMW SUV hit the bumper causing a scratch and gouge of the paint - the loaders laughed about it - but the service manager came out - admitted it happened, took a photo and sent it to Patricia the "Customer Relations Manager" - Patricia suggested our paint was "faulty" and that Trail Appliances was not prepared to admit fault. I hear from other sources that this is not an uncommon occurance for Trail - and this particular person.... Do not use this company, despite their "flashy" appearance they clearly lack integrity..... I have several more appliances to purchase over the next while, but these people will not see another dime from me !!
