Inspection of ducts and Filter Change
Hi Roxanne, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family. Getting the job done is important, when needed, and this time around, there wasn't really any urgency to do a job, with only very minimal accumulation in the ductwork. Keeping the system maintained in regards to filters is very important, and I am looking forward to doing so each year. I have supplied one of my filters (as they are a high efficiency Electrostatic Filter) and will be maintaining them quarterly. These are upgraded in replacement of a 1" disposable filter incase people are wondering. Hey Jeff, thanks for doing a review. Glad you were happy with our service. Having the furnace cleaned properly is important. You need to remove the fan blower in most cases to thoroughly clean it. You mentioned guys before spent about 15-20 minutes only, and not removing the fan. Proof was shown as the amount of debris caked on the fan blades was incredible. It is important to take the time to do a proper job, and charge your customer accordingly. Adam, I appreciate the kind comments, that means a lot to know that our service doesn't go un-noticed. Glad you were happy with the work we performed, and didn't perform. Adam's system was pretty clean, due to new ductwork installation, however, part of the return air ductwork was original, and needed to be cleaned. So we did that and now the system is clean, and with a few changes to filters and humidifier ducting, the system is ready to operate as efficient as possible. Hey Ian. Thanks for writing a review about your experience with us. Not every home is the same, or requires the same cleaning schedule. It is recommended to inspect the system every 2-3 years to determine if cleaning is necessary. In your instance, it really wasn't. I've run my business on proper ethics, in hopes of maintaining a long lasting customer relationship. As you mentioned, there are other items that maintenance is definately needed yearly, such as the furnace, filters, humidifiers etc. By having these maintained, will help keep the system cleaner and run more efficient. Most companies would have probably done the job (or lack thereof), but as you know, I try and operate a professional business.
